Highly recommend this hotel

- TrailBlazer645401 (10/5): Friendliest Hotel in Pokhara! -
I recently stayed here for 12 nights. I was looked after very well. This family run business is the friendliest and most hospitable hotel I have ever stayed in.
Thank you!!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Pokhara especially if you're travelling on your own and need help finding your way around town and knowing where the sights are and the best way to get to them etc.
I'm missing it already!
- 314margritw (10/5): Good place to stay! - We enjoyed our stay in Tristar Hotel, everybody was very friendly, kind and helpful. Coming back after a day exploring the city felt like coming home again.
The room was clean and comfortable, the bed had the perfect softness.
Should we be in Pokhara again we definitely return.
- lynnbarretomiranda (10/5): One of my favorite Hotels - It was, without a doubt, one of the favorite hotels I stayed in Nepal during my 1100km solo cycling adventure across this beautiful country. My plan was to stay for a few days before travelling to Lumbini, but I ended up staying for two weeks at this family-run hotel.
The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with a large, comfortable bed, and had air conditioning. There was hot running water in the shower.
Suraj, who oversees the front desk and pretty much everything else in the hotel, is such a warm personality and a fantastic guy. He helped in organising all of my adventure activities, such as bungee jumping, rafting, paragliding, and ultralight aeroplane ride, including watching the final game of the EPL season. My adventures wouldn't have been successful without his help.
The food served was tasty. The breakfast included was yummy. And I just loved the fresh coffee made from local organic beans.
Located just across the Tourist Police Information Center and a couple of minutes' walk to Fewa Lake, but away from the lakeside noise, the location was ideal and within walking distance of anything you could want and need in Pokhara.
I’ve really enjoyed my stay here, and I highly recommend Tristar! Stay here and you'll be so glad you did!
- ashonko (10/5): They are just like family - On the occasion of my wife's birthday, I made a visit there. I wished to give her a surprise gift while I was there. However, it was difficult at that time due to COVID and other issues. But the people at Tristar Hotel, particularly the bright guy behind the counter named Suraj, made my dreams come true. He assisted me in surprising my wife as if he were a member of our family. He planned the decoration, arranged the cake, advised me on the plan, and everything was fantastic. He also assisted us in planning the remainder of our trip. The hotel, the location, the room, and their humble treatment were all best bits of our trip.
- ashriiiiya (10/5): Weekend getaway - The location was perfect, exactly opposite of the gate to Fewa lake, could access everything easily and was in walking distance. The breakfast options were really nice and in my case covered in the room tariff. Clean rooms and very friendly staffs, this place is very homely. Plus point, the coffee is great.
- Dbreakfast (10/5): A gem in Pokhara - I love this place! I didn’t want to leave! I had been trekking Annapurna Circuit and wanted a nice room to chill in Pokhara for 2-3 days afterwards. I ended up staying 1 week. Tristar will make your Pokhara trip the best. The cozy, clean rooms are perfectly modern equipped with comfy beds and hot water. The lake views from upstairs are dreamy, and the overall vibe cannot be beat.
The location is ideal: as close as you can be to everything but away from the noise of Lakeside.
The hotel staff are wonderful. They always make sure you’re comfortable and can answer any questions about Nepal, Pokhara, or anything you need. They treat you like a guest in their home. Suraj’s (who works in the restaurant and front desk) energy is kind and caring and immediately made me feel at home. You’ll see him mentioned in other reviews saying similar- he’s the best.
The food is also delicious and fresh. Super high quality ingredients. The breakfast included is great, great coffee drinks, and when you don’t feel like going far, their dinner restaurant is one of the best in Pokhara. Highly recommend! They can also help arrange trekking and other adventure activities in and around Pokhara. Don’t miss kayaking around Lake Phewa on a sunny day!
- Eliane473 (10/5): Feels like home - We always feel like coming home when we arrive at Tristar hotel. The staff is superfriendly and helps you with everything you need, the rooms are very clean, bright and comfy (specialy the bed!!!) From the rooftop you have an amazing view of the mountains and the lake. Not to forget about the very good food you can get in the restaurant. Do not forget to get nepali thali it is one of the best dalbhat we ever had.
It is definitely the place to recomend.
- Manjodh (10/5): Birthday trip - It was one of the best trips i have ever had and one of thr best places to stay at an affordable rate. The staff was super friendly and the location of the hotel is very good, near to all the cafes like busy bee
- kimghost1 (10/5): Home away from home - I spend a lot of days in this hotel and it was truly amazing! I felt comfortable and relaxed here. The rooms are spacious and clean and some of them even have a balcony overlooking the lake. The restaurant that is in this hotel serves good food and the breakfast here is definitely worth a try! The people at the hotel are really hard-working and friendly. I could definitely recommend this place!
- 710nanat (10/5): Great place in Pokhara - Nine view, clean room, delicious breakfast and coffee, and helpful staff! Also the location is good.
You can stay solo, friends or couple whoever with you, the place helps making good memories of Pokhara.
I really enjoyed staying Tristar Hotel. I definitely come back there again. Thanks a lot.
- SarahB14287 (10/5): Every "coffee in the morning"- person should stay here, because... - ...here you get your coffee on barista level! Nice cappucino, flat whites, or just a normal americano? what is it gonna be? Best part: they use local organic coffee beans from Pokhara...
I enjoyed my time at Tristar tremendosly. The staff was super helpful with every question I had. They supported my with reservations, translations and bookings. My room was nice and clean, and always with a hot shower available (bathtub). From the balcony you get the view on the lake... and to the lake its just a view minuts by feet till the walkway along the lakeside starts... its a nice promenade to take a stroll. @Tristar: Thank you for making my stay so beautiful.
- buneytuney (10/5): Best hotel in Pokhara - Best place to stay near lakeside with great views. Near to the Barahi temple attracts more guests.. Great hospitality and service. Staffs are friendly.. There are various shops nearby for shopping and sightseeing..
- analytic10 (8/5): No complaints. Good enough restaurant - Sat on the first floor by the balcony. Good view of Lakeside road. Ordered pork chop with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetable and a glass of red wine. No complaints.Maybe a bit pricy. I am reviewing just the restaurant. Did not stay there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, help us with any information we needed and get our trek organised. Top marks for service.
Hotel located close to the lake and restaurants, with clean and comfy beds!
- Verified traveler (4/5): The only stars observable are the stars in thename - Management customer service was quite sloppy. Had a pretty bad power trip during the entire night but they simply brush off our concerns saying it was normal. No attempts at ensuring our night could have been made more comfortable at all. Room condition is kind of run down. shower facilities infested with insects. Wifi connection was good but HARDLY any internet connection. Limited to a single bottle of water per pax per day redemption rule (check out days are not included). Not recommendable.
- 633pradeepg (10/5): Delicious fresh breakfast excellent service - After trying a few restaurant in Pokhara,I keep coming back to TriStar restaurant & bar for breakfast ,lunch & diner with drink they play good music all so which is enjoying, all time fresh food, good service ,location is best, highly recommended thanks TriStar team ..... Definitely come back again...
- nvanroy (4/5): Terrible service - The service at lunchtime was terrible. Still awaiting the waiter to bring drinks and have been waiting for ages with no other customers in the restaurant bit of a joke really, feel like I should pour my own beer!!!!
- Mark (10/5): Great value boutique hotel - I keep my expectations low when booking a hotel in Pokhara, but this was a jewel! A wonderfully friendly, helpful staff couldn't do enough to make me comfortable. A powerful hot shower, nice towels, air conditioning, wifi and a TV that all work; also a really good bed...Located right on the main street in mid-waterside, this will be my regular on trips to laid back Pokhara.
- Susiecasaluca (10/5): Best hotel Pokhara - The staff is so helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and trendy!
There is a good restaurant and bar.
The location is perfect. The fresh juices are wonderful.
Don’t forget to eat at OR2K and shop at Woven, and Roadhouse café is wow.
The best place to buy blanket and scarf is Angels hands.
I highly recommend this hotel.
- kristina_sct (10/5): Very nice family hotel! - We stayed in Tristar hotel for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful and friendly, room was clean and nice and breakfast was very tasty!
The location is great, close to everything in Lakeside.
We recommend staying here.
- svenoles2017 (10/5): Modern, well equipped hotel with excellent service - Highly professional service with a personal touch. This centrally positioned hotel and its staff provide
their costumers a full packet of individually shaped experiences. Compared to the standard prices are very fair.
- Navvin Kumar (10/5): Highly recommended! - Excellent service, clean rooms, central location, great price.
- kik (10/5): Nice place , good location - The hotel is located in the popular area and close to the boat pier. Staffs are very nice and informative
