Je déconseille cet hôtel et je conseille vivement le propriétaire à changer de manager et pas mal d'employés Tout le personnel est en permanence sur son GSM

Beaucoup de calme de sérénité d'espace avec plein de jeux, tables de tennis de table, badminton, jeux de société, canapé pour la lecture. La piscine est également très agréable. Les logements très vastes ! Diverses activités sont proposées au sein même de l'établissement, cours de boxe thaï, cours de cuisine, le tout dans une ambiance calme et détendue. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et très varié. Le restaurant délicieux. Le personnel très sympathique.Nous recommandons à 1000%.

Gratis flessenwater. Fijne bedden. Het is 25 minuten rijden naar het centrum. Helaas heb ik mijn hoofd tot bloedens toe gestoten omdat onze badkamerdeur maar 1.70 meter hoog was.

• Debbie (7/5): A special find, if you are traveling with small children - This hotel is a perfect location for families as they cater for small children. There has a pool and tons of children’s toys and small bicycles but as we were a couple it was not a perfect fit for us. The staff were fabulous and the room was extremely spacious The overall cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel needs improvement.

• Lauren (9/5): Leafy, quiet and calm, a comfortable place to relax and recharge - Leafy, quiet and calm, a comfortable place to relax and recharge, away from the bustle of Chiang Mai. Owners and staff went out of their way to be helpful. Included twice daily shuttles into CM, flexible on where we wanted to go, which reduced the hassle of being a little bit further out of town. The family room was spacious, with plenty of furniture, room for three kids and a cool cushioned nook for reading or enjoying a movie. The pool was reasonably big, with lots of shallow areas too, so our toddler could enjoy being independent. It was a toss up choosing to be out of town, but with the regular shuttle in, we didn’t feel like we missed out. Maybe not ideal if you’re planning on being out for the night, more suitable for families and those wanting quiet nights.

• Michael (10/5): Typisch Thai - für Familien perfekt ! - Wir hatten die große Freude 4 Nächte auf unserer Rundreise im Joeys House zu übernachten. Die Abholung vom Flughafen wurde für uns organisiert und war absolut stressfrei. Da wir in der Regenzeit hier waren - sind/waren wir die einzigen Gäste - wir durften uns das Zimmer aussuchen bei der Ankunft. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern und einem riesigen Wohnzimmer. Die Ausstattung ist einfach gehalten aber es ist alles super sauber. Für einen Ausflug zu den Wasserfällen wurde uns ein Fahrer organisiert der den ganzen Tag für uns verfügbar war - das Elfanten Erlebniss haben wir aus dem Programm der Unterkunft gebucht. Der Kochkurs der angeboten wird ist sensationell inkl. Einkaufstour auf dem Markt und leckerem Kokoseis für die Kids (auch wenn Sie keinen Kochkurs gebucht hatten). Unser Highlight war aber der Muay Thai Boxkurs - hier kann man nur sagen WOW - so viel Mühe - so viel Einsatz - es hat irre viel Spaß gemacht - auf einer Thailand Rundreise mit unzähligen tollen Erlebnissen wird das unser Highlight sein - nochmal vielen vielen Dank dafür. Das Frühstück ist super - alles verfügbar was man braucht - das Restaurant für Mittag und Abendessen ist auch absolut zu empfehlen - und es besteht keine Not das Hotel zu verlassen. Der Weg in die Altstadt ist nicht weit - entweder mit Grab oder einem Taxi - 2x am Tag wird auch ein Shuttle Service kostenlos angeboten. Wir kommen 100% sicher wieder hier her und sind traurig da wir abreisen müssen.

It is further out of Chang mai so you do need to factor that in. However it meant there was so much more space than in a city hotel and the vibe was so much more relaxed. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
• M (9/5): Een klein paradijsje in Chiang Mai! - Het ontvangst bij Joy's familie is heel warm en vriendelijk en ze helpen graag met het zoeken en boeken van de activiteiten. Het hotel voelt een beetje als een resort met verschillende huisjes en het is tegelijk heel huiselijk. Het ligt misschien iets buiten het centrum maar het is een fijne plek om elke dag naar terug te keren of om er een dag te verblijven aan het zwembad. Je bent met de Grab app ook zo waar je moet zijn en twee keer per dag kan je ook worden afgezet. De kinderen hebben genoten van de Muay Thai kickbox lessen en willen graag hier weer terugkomen!

Bref tout était parfait, les enfants ont adoré et nous aussi, on ne voulait plus partir (et on reviendra sûrement) !!

• LoosAlarm (9/5): Dit is authentiek Thailand ervaren - Ongedwongen sfeer op een verborgen plekje op 20 minuten rijden van het centrum. Enorm hartelijk en vriendelijk personeel, die hun best doen om jou een onvergetelijk verblijf te bieden. De kamer was heel erg ruim en schoon. Er zijn meerdere hoekjes waar je buiten, waar je overdekt kunt zitten. Het zwembad is precies groot genoeg en de bedden ernaast heerlijk om op te ontspannen. Er is een barretje waar je cocktails en biertjes bestellen. Ze bieden zelf ook tours aan tegen eerlijke prijzen. Bij het ontbijt worden je eitjes naar jouw wens klaargemaakt en is er veel vers fruit beschikbaar. Het eten wat je ter plekke kunt bestellen is voortreffelijk. Je kunt zelfs kiezen voor long cooking. Daar zijn wij helaas niet aan toegekomen, maar dat kan alleen maar fantastisch zijn. Deze plek ademt het Thailand waar wij op hoopten. Vriendelijkheid, genieten en avontuur gaan hand in hand hier. Wat een heerlijke start van onze rondreis. Onvergetelijk! De deur van onze kamer klemde zo erg, dat we die alleen met een flinke herrie dicht konden trekken. Niet lekker voor andere gasten. De lokatie ligt relatief dicht bij een grotere weg, overdag heb je daar geen erg in, maar 's nachts gaan er nog wel eens wat voertuigen met open uitlaten voorbij. In de badkamer zitten alleen horren en geen ramen, waardoor het geluid makkelijk binnendringt. Vliegtuigen kunnen sporadisch ook laag overkomen Dus als je een lichte slaper bent, neem oordoppen mee.
• Liza (8/5): Sfeervol hotel, fijn verblijf gehad - De sfeer. Het is geen standaard resort maar een familie hotel. Leuk aangekleed met overal zitjes en snuisterijen. Prima zwembad, niet groot maar lekker voor een frisse duik en de kinderen konden heerlijk spelen. Er lopen enkele katten rond, heel vriendelijk en aaibaar. Personeel is super vriendelijk en regelt uitstapjes en taxi’s Ontbijt is niet uitgebreid maar prima met vers fruit, eieren en wafels Het is wat verder weg van het centrum dus je hebt een taxi nodig om in de stad te komen

The pool is beautiful and there’s lots of fun spaces on the property to hang out. I did the elephant tour and the cooking class. They were both great. Highlights of my trip for sure. The staff was so friendly and nice. The property is out m’aide the walled city of Chiang Mai. There is a tram that runs a couple times a day, but if you are not able to walk to temples or markets from here. For me, the location was great because it was very quiet and relaxing.

• Frédérique (10/5): Un séjour hors du temps qui restera gravé dans nos mémoires! - Joy’s House est un lieu exceptionnel tant dans son accueil avec des hôtes extrêmement gentils, serviables, attentionnées, souriantes qu’au niveau des repas qui étaient excellent : les meilleurs que l’on ait mangé à Chiang Mai avec un prix très bas pour cette qualité ! Le breakfast incroyables avec des fruits frais et plein de choix et une cuisinière qui cuit les œufs à la demande ! La maison est calme, apaisante, spacieuse, propre, avec une superbe piscine et salle de sport et une belle végétation. Nous avons profité des excursions et avons passé une merveilleuse journée à Doi Inthanon suivi d’une randonnée dans la jungle accompagnés de deux guides dont une locales et d’un chauffeur tous adorables! Le seul regret que nous avons est d’avoir du partir sans tester le cours de cuisine et les massages mais s’il l’occasion se présente nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir! Merci encore à nos hôtes ! We stayed here with our family of 5: lovely spacious family room, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean; wonderful authentic Thai grounds, lots of attention to detail and many interesting little corners to explore, including the beautiful pool area. It’s located about 10 minutes taxi drive from the old town and the hotel offers a complementary shuttle bus into town twice a day. Personally, I thought the area the hotel is in is lovely and much more genuine and authentic than the old town, which is nice but can be very touristy. The Thai family who run it are kind, attentive and worked hard to make us feel at home, especially when we came back really tired and dirty after two days in the jungle. Lovely home food served daily at the restaurant and at breakfast. We will be returning!

Die Buchung für einen Besuch im Elefantenpark war unkompliziert möglich.

• Victoria (10/5): What a JOY! - Everything! From the door we were welcomed warmly by Satine and given a tour of the Joy House facilities. A friendly black cat joined us on the tour! Our rooms were lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area, played ping pong, had massages and took a cooking class on the premises. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed the BEST version of Khai soi in Chiang Mai for dinner on our first night's stay. The six of us agreed that we could have spent much more time at Joy's House and if ever in Chiang Mai again, we definitely will! What a JOY!

A la ducha se le podria poner una Mampara para no mojar todo el Baño. Faltan lugares donde colgar las Toallas en la ducha.

• Jacob (10/5): - This was our second stay here and will continue to return when in Chiang Mai. This property is lovely and it is a reflection of the family that runs it. You can tell they really care about making it as good as it can be and welcoming guests. Rooms- Each room seems to be a bit different which is cool. We got a suite this time that had living room and separate bedroom. Old Thai style decor and furniture. Food- Breakfast is great, fresh fruits, toasts, coffee n tea, and they have egg station where the hostess will make omelet or eggs however you’d like them. Their lunch/dinner menu is great in our experience as well. The property itself is so peaceful and inviting. Many comfortable places to sit. If you don’t want to go to town you have everything you need here. If you do, they have shuttles to town twice a day. You must get your own way back but that means you can explore freely. If you’re on the fence, I say do it and be pleasantly surprised at all the little things that make this place great.
• Marlijne (9/5): - Heerlijk paradijsje in Chiang Mai. Buiten het centrum en de drukte. Maar de shuttlebus brengt je tweemaal per dag gratis naar het centrum. Fijn dat er een zwembad is, pooltafel, lekker cocktails en fantastisch personeel. We hebben echt genoten en komen hier graag nog eens terug! De kookcursus was geweldig op deze locatie en we vonden het jammer dat we weg moesten. Als tip willen we meegeven (hoewel we hier echt graag terugkomen), blijf het goed onderhouden. Hier en daar waren in onze kamer mankementen en ook binnen het verblijf zelf zagen we hier en daar zaken die echt aangepakt moeten worden. Niks ergs natuurlijk, maar het is zo’n fantastische plek, dat het zonde zou zijn als het een beetje komt te vervallen.

• Vera (4/5): Empfehlenswert für Familien leider aber nicht für uns. Preis-Leistung im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in Chiang Mai sehr - Die Unterkunft liegt an einem ruihgen schönen Ort. Es ist im grünen und wirkt sehr familiär. Als erstes möchte ich hier sagen, dass ich diese Bewertung nur schreibe, da ich das Hotel auf Grund der sehr guren Bewertungen gebucht habe. Diesen Bewertungen kann ich leider nicht zustimmen, darum möchte hier einen kleinen Teil schreiben was mich persönlich gestört hat. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass die Unterkunft weiter weg vom Zentrum liegt. Bolt ist zu den Verkehrszeiten schwer zu bestellen, es gibt aber 2x am Tag einen Shuttleservice (10:00 und 18:00) . Das Personal wirkt ansich sehr freundlich, sie sind auch sehr nett zu Familien. Ich war mit einer Freundin vor Ort und leider konnten wir von dieser Freundlichkeit nichts spüren. Ganz im Gegenteil, als wir nach Aktivitätsvorschlägen fragten (da die Unterkunft ja auch Touren anbietet) sagten sie zu uns, dass sie keine wissen würden. Zwei Familien fuhren aber am nächsten Tag auf eine Tour von ihnen. Zisätzlich fragten wir um eine Massage an, die ebenfalls im Hotel angeboten wird. Es wurde uns gesagt, dass wir warten sollen und sie melden sich bei uns - wir warteten den Tag über im Hotel aber leider kam keine Reaktion mehr. Zudem kommt noch das Frühstucken, wir buchten das Hotel auf Grund der super Bewertungen. Jedoch waren wir hier sehr enttäuscht. Das Frühstück gibt es von 7:00-11:00 Ihr, wir gingen immer so um 9:00 hin. Leider gab es zu dieser Zeit kaum noch etwas. Sie machen frische Omlettes und Pancakes - diese waren auch Top. Aber der Rest is fast immer leer gewesen, kein Obst und kein Kaffe :( Im ganzen kann ich sagen, dass die Unterkunft sicherlich Top für Familien ist aber für Urlaub mit Freunden eignet sich diese Unterkunft nicht.

Wir waren mit einem 8 Monate alten Baby und 4 jährigen Kindern dort und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen! Zimmer ein bisschen dunkel, aber man ist eh meistens draußen. Keine Mückennetze. Aber mit Klimaanlage konnte man die Mücken trotzdem ganz gut fernhalten.

• Pepijn (9/5): Een heerlijk verblijf bij een Thaise familie thuis! - Bij Joy heerst een heerlijke sfeer. Elke dag een goed verzorgd ontbijt. Mooie ruime familiekamer. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en maakt het gezellig. Het is heel kindvriendelijk, ze kunnen overal rommelen en het perceel is helemaal afgesloten. Mooi schoon zwembad. Je krijgt een gratis transfer van/naar vliegveld en er staan fietsen om te gebruiken. Wij zijn 5 nachten geweest en dat is precies goed. We hadden meer van het (avond)eten verwacht. De smaken waren wat flauw. Fiets zeker eens langs Ann&Mom om te eten. Het boeken van tours via Joy is aan de prijs en advies dat ze erbij geven beperkt.

The restaurant meals were excellent, the room we had large and clean and we did both the Thai cooking class and the elephant retirement park experience through them. Both were fabulous. To top off our amazing stay we were lucky enough to be staying at New Years Eve and Joys House arranged a dinner, music and traditional lanterns to be lit and released at midnight. What an experience for my daughters. Thank you for such great memories I hope we get to return one day.

We enjoyed playing ping pong, billiards, and Jenga, and spent plenty of time swimming in the pool, despite the chilly weather. The staff was incredibly attentive, always fulfilling our requests with smiles and genuine enthusiasm. The food was simply outstanding! The chef’s cooking is extraordinary, and on several occasions, we asked for special dishes not on the menu or requested fresh coconuts—and everything was prepared beautifully. The entire experience felt like visiting close friends rather than staying at a guesthouse. An unforgettable stay!

• Laura (10/5): Such a friendly place! - Joy’s house has a lovely vibe and is away from the hustle & bustle of chiang mai centre. The family room we had was spacious with big beds and two bathrooms. The whole complex is quirky and cute and the pool area was relaxing and attractive. We did a trip to Doi Inthanon and had a great day- would recommend. We also did the cooking course with the lovely Champi. It was quite a sociable place and families sat around the fire and even had the odd sing song! There’s pool table and tv area which the kids liked. We stayed 4 nights over Christmas and had a really great stay. The whole team are so friendly and helpful and made Christmas Eve really festive! It was easy to get in to chiang mai with the free shuttle and get a grab or bolt back. I’d recommend for anyone who wants a warm welcome and peaceful surroundings.

Jeden Tag fährt ein Taxi kostenlos (10 und 18 Uhr) in die Stadt, oder auch wo man hin muss ( zb Busbahnhof). Alle Mitarbeitende sind sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist top, frische Früchte, Müsli, Brot, es werden Eier frisch für einen zubereitet und auch Pancakes. Man kann Touren direkt dort buchen, wird abgeholt und alles ist top organisier. Außerdem gibt es ein Gym neben dem Pool, das man nutzen darf.

Il est mis à disposition gratuitement du thé, café, des bouteilles ainsi qu'une bouilloire. Il y a le nécessaire pour la salle de bain (savon, serviette). L'établissement à un cadre de vie incroyablement beau, reposant, calme et authentique! Le personnel a été excrément gentil et attentionné, merci à eux 🙏 l'emplacement est un peu excentré du centre ville mais ils proposent des navettes le matin et le soir ce qui facilitent les sorties. Les excursions viennent nous chercher directement à l'hôtel.

• Taylor (10/5): Amazing, family friendly stay. We hope to be back! - The 2 bedroom bungalow was perfect for our family of 4! We LOVED that the entire property is fenced in and the main gate mostly stayed shut. Our young kids roamed around freely while we relaxed in the central courtyard and it was lovely. The food (included breakfast, a la cart menu, and the food we prepared at cooking class) was delicious. The pool was quiet and peaceful, though very chilly! We loved the opportunity to book tours directly through the property. The elephant visit and bua thong waterfall excursion was an unforgettable experience. The cooking class provided a nice, quiet evening in and it was truly family friendly- our two year old loved it. There were little toys in the main reception area, bikes for use, and friendly cats to play with for our kids. WiFi was great, throughout the property. The shuttle to town (10 am and 6pm) was a nice perk, though it’s relatively easy to catch a ride whenever with bolt or grab! All in all, an excellent, family friendly accommodation.
