Guest Reviews
- Dorcus Ambuto (9/5): It was the most relaxing stay, home away from home experience - The staff are friendly, the rooms cozy and quiet despite the busy streets neighboring the Hotel. I liked the facilities in the room, steady WI-FI, clean fresh room, reading table, dressing table and mirror, and the relaxing seats and coffee table. I can not forget the heavy tasty meals especially the grilled potato wedges and large fish for one service but capable of feeding five pax ... I loved the fruit platters The breakfast lacked something. The tea did not impress me and the hot water was lukewarm.
- Mulabiza (1/5): They need to fix some of their bathrooms, the toilet seat broken. It’s not in good standard - No hot water and some bathroom didn’t have a tap, faucet No warm water, the toilet seat was broken and some bathroom things were broken
- Bala (5/5): - Josephine the Receptionist. The location.

- Kang (9/5): Good memories at decent price - Most of the time, what is supposed to be there is there. A small fridge, warm water, every day cleaning service, air conditioning, and internet. As many accommodations you find in Kampala often deceive you on these margins, the hotel being honest with their capacity does deserve commendations.
The breakfast was overall okay, or rather quite good. If you are an East African, perhaps you would like it more than I did. But even from a foreigner’s perspective it was good. Perhaps consider setting a mosquito net. This is because sometimes foreign tourists may be more aware of issues regarding Mosquitoes. Not specifically a problem to me, though.
Sometimes, the housekeeping people do not know what your demanded service is. As long as you tell them the exact information, however, there wouldn’t be any issue.
Crucial point; if you need something from the hotel, please tell them upfront. That way you will get the best service. Reception is always there to support you at their capacity.
- Petr (10/5): - Very amazing employees😊
- Helen (10/5): I had an amazing stay!! - Clean and comfortable. Staff is very good and welcoming. Felt like home. Josephine was exceptionally good. She went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.
Mr. Isaac, the driver was short of amazing, he was explaining and educating me on major Landmarks of Uganda as we drove from Airport to hotel. I could not ask for any better. My stay was amazing. Showers and Toilets on same floor and no shower heads but long tap. I did not know that I had to ask for hot water to be turned on. I had cold showers few nights. But weather is hot, it cooled me off.
- Cheri (7/5): Not what we expected - Good AC and towels. Pleasant staff.
No hot water. WIFI stopped at 9pm, breakfast was limited, no milk for coffee, and peeling paint on the walls.
- Arnold (9/5): Superb -
- Kiril (10/5): Exceptional - Really pleasent hotel with great sunny/shade terrace, very nice breakfast, many options for lunch/dinner. Also backed with generator, so electricity all time-internet, hot water. Close to bar/club, city center, yet so quiet for good decent sleep. Rooms are great for sleep, have everything. Staff are the best. No need to change bed linen or towels daily, spare the environment (and human resources) and do it every second-third day.
Also, you have wonderful terrace, put all the flowering plants that exist in Uganda.

- Abigul (8/5): Very good - The staff are very friendly, respectful and has great customer service. What I love most is them smiling when serving 😍 customers. Thanks to all the staff. I can't remember some of your names, Vivian is the name i can remember but all of you are exceptional.
For the manager, please put back the umbrella which is at the rooftops for people to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. Thank you. The property was very difficult to locate. The GPS showed arrived and yet it wasn't the hotel. Lots of phone calls for the directions that shouldn't have happened. When we arrived at the gate, we knocked no body opened the door, my husband has to get out of the car to open the gate himself which he shouldn't as there's a security person at the door who we realised after opening the gate.
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional -
- L. (7/5): Good - Excellent location for Makerere University. Friendly staff. Initially, nothing worked as advertised: no WiFi, no towels. WiFi is good, but it comes through a data package and when the data runs out you have to ask for more... Food has to come from the main hotel and that may take a while. Breakfast is greasy and monotonous. Church and bar nearby create occasional noise.
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly and professional staff
