• Polly (10/5): A really restful perfect fortnight in a truly idyllic place. - The top floor studio with a balcony overlooking the sea, perfect! The bed was enormous and SO comfortable. The whole property was so clean, fabulous gardens and so peaceful. The host was non intrusive but very kind and helpful when asked. My personal thing, it may not bother others. Because it was a studio there were so many appliance lights overnight. Red light on the TV, Green light on the fridge, a large yellow internet light, and, if you had the air conditioner on you could read a book by the light.

• Jessica (9/5): - Lovely and quiet set back from the beach, the balcony views were amazing and the gardens beautiful. Room was comfortable and the kitchenette was very handy. Host was so kind & friendly, super helpful The mattress was a bit old, ok for a couple of nights but after that you may get a sore back. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but wasnt unhygienic.
• Maria (10/5): Relaxing Stay with Wildlife and Local Charm - I had an amazing experience at Helios. The owner was so warm and welcoming. The place is just a few steps from a wild, beautiful beach where I could often have the shore all to myself. There are some cute cats around, and waking up to the sounds of chickens and birds was such a treat. I loved the authentic food from local farms, it made the stay even more special. The room was super clean, and they cleaned every day .I loved it so much and will definitely be back! Note: you need a car if you want to explore Naxos or visit restaurants beyond the beach, but if you’re looking for a relaxing beach stay, it’s perfect. Nothing to say :)

• Georgios (10/5): Super cozy room at a great location - We loved our stay here! It was a super comfortable room with a nice balcony. Very clean and with excellent room service. We traveled with a dog and it was exceptionally pet friendly as well. In terms of location, it was a few minutes walk to Plaka beach but also to the popular Lagogiannis Bakery.

The Place is newly renovated and everything is very clean and Pretty. The Location is very nice if you want to be at a secluded part of the Beach. Also the Host is very Friendly and made everything possible! The old pictures of the room don’t are recent anymore, it is a lot prettier in real life. We Can defitnely recommend staying here

• Annette (10/5): Magically romantic. Ideal of you want to stay away from the crowds at high season - Helios Beach is located at the far end of Plaka Beach, away from the crowds. We were surrounded by olive trees and blooming voukamvilia. Beach is a 3 min walk. Our studio was quiet, private with its own balcony, clean and soothing views of hills and nature. The owner takes great care of the property. A 10 min walk along the beach gets you to the end of the bus line into Naxos town. It gets very busy and dusty once you reach the part of the beach that is serviced by the bus. We stayed in Ag Anna last year and the noise and crowds really impacted the Naxos experience. Helios Beach was the perfect hideaway. We rented a car. 1 min drive to nearby bakery for breakfast / coffee. There was nothing we didn’t like.

• Vasilios (1/5): Falsely advertised, and the owner is a liar. - Absolutely nothing was likable. Where do I start? First of all, the listing is incorrectly advertised. This is not a beautiful beachfront property; it is a semi-livable apartment building at least 10 minutes walk away from the beach---a walk that includes walking through a construction zone and a farm pasture. Additionally, there is no access to the listing by public transportation unless you count walking from the "nearest" bus stop over 20 minutes away, which involves over 10 minutes of walking through sand. If you'd like to avoid this, you'll be required to use a taxi every time; of which the drivers need to charge at least 30 euros per trip to reach the place. If money is no (or less) object, and/or you'll be renting a car---you likely aren't going to be interested in a "cost saver" property in the first place, so it's not even worth it under that scenario. I didn't even get inside the place to judge the accuracy in the apartment itself; upon reaching the property, we had to inform the manager that we could not stay in the accommodations, and we left to find a new place to stay on the fly. Unfortunately that wasn't the end; When confronting the manager about all this, he apologized, and said how sorry he was the everything had been so different and awful, and promised a 100% refund. Upon following up with Booking.com days later about the refund, Booking.com informed me that the manager had lied and reneged on his promise. This quite literally was the absolute worst experience of my life involving purchased accommodations---do not go to this property, and do not offer your business to this owner.
• Segolene (10/5): Perfect holiday away from the crowd and walk away from the most beautiful beach - The studio had a balcony with a beautiful sea view. It is on the middle of the fields and is unbelievably quiet. I haven’t even met my neighbours/other guests. Perfect if you want tranquility and away from the crowd. The manager was incredibly helpful, kind and always there for communication and there to help. It was a wonderful stay

• Jelena (9/5): Lovely! If you are in dire need to switch off & relax, do visit this place. - The room was comfortable, nicely furnished, and exceptionally clean. The hosts were kind and super-helpful. I very much liked the bed, it was extra comfortable; and the chairs and the little bench on the balcony are something I want for my house :) The place is a hidden gem. The only (minor) downside is the access to it, if you don’t have a car (my case). But - the hosts were kind to arrange transfer for both arrival and departure. Once there, the beach is super close, and it is the most wonderful chip of sand in Naxos. Perfect for a quiet vacation.
