- Malene (10/5): Fantastisk ophold - Fantastisk ophold. Fantastisk hotel. Gode omgivelser. Lækkert med udendørs opvarmet pool. Stort lækkert værelse. Historiske bygninger. God morgenmad og helt utrolig lækkert aftensmad. Hyggelig stor opholdsstue med mange spil, poolbord etc. Imødekommende og hjælpsom personale.
- Marica (6/5): Slitet golfhotell med potential - Trevligt golfhotell med potential att bli något ännu bättre men väldigt slitet på sina ställen och slarviga renoveringar som känns lite ”polsk billig arbetskraft”. Jättevackra omgivningar och restaurangen i huvudbyggnaden är vackert inredd. Rummet vi fick var i en äldre byggnad som luktade mögel och var extremt lyhörd. Förstår varför rummet var utrustat med öronproppar. Dåligt städat. Som att ingen bott där på ett tag…inga handdukar fanns och dammigt överallt. Det bjöds på grillbuffe på kvällen och den var helt ok. Frukosten var också trevlig med vad man kan förvänta av en hotellfrukost. Besviken över att man fick köpa till spa som jag trodde ingick så kan inte svara på hur den avdelningen var men utepoolen såg sjaskig ut så vi ville inte testa. Kan tänka mig att besöka igen om de fräschar upp stället ytterligare och har bättre erbjudanden på paket.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Förbättringspotential - Otroligt lyhört rum och ljust pga en lampa utanför ytterdörren som hade ett fönster. Spa:et var inte rent, vi var där på kvällen och under dagen hade konferensgäster varit där vilket märktes. Borde ha städats emellan. Blött i hela omklädningsrummen och luktade unket på vissa platser i spaet. Den enes mat var god, den andres en besvikelse. Jättetrevlig personal i restaurangen dock!

- Verified traveler (6/5): Varmt rom, iskaldt badegulv - Rommet ble varmt og vanskelig å få luftet, mens badegulvet var iskaldt og fikk ikke regulert til ok, selv med termostat satt på max når vi kom. God seng, koselig sted. Deilig spa.
- m_prebble (6/5): The food was the saving grace - We were here for a conference with my company, and will be returning again next year. Overall I would say the experience is OK. I have been to ElsiefFarm prior to this, but only ate at the restaurants - this was the first overnight experience. Let's begin with the good: the lunch we were served on the first day was divine. Tender meat that fell apart and excellent taste combined with the potato mash and sweet onions. For dinner we were treated to delicious kalvkött with very tasty roasted vegetables. Dessert was cheesecake, and was also very good albeit a little small. Breakfast the next morning was decent, other reviewers have complained about the bread not being fresh, this was not the case this morning. An adequate selection, nice bacon. Scrambled eggs tasted watery and readymade though. Onto the rooms ... we were a large group so were split up into different parts of the hotel. In the main building, those staying there apparently had the best experience. There are two annexes, one named "Stallet" (the stall) and the other "Herrgården" (the manor house). I was in the stall, on the second floor. One needs to walk in the elements around puddles to get to the building. Once getting to the room, it looks at first glance to be very cozy. Full height ceiling (apparently the manor house has sloping ceilings). The first thing I was hit by was the warmth radiating off the stone floor in the entrance/bathroom - the floor heating must have been on absolute MAX, and I could find no way to adjust it. My other colleagues also said their floor heating was on full, and that the rooms were far too warm. The floor in the bathroom was almost too hot to stand on, I can only imagine the energy costs that ElsieFarm must have with this resistive heating.. There was a slight but distinctly noticeable sewerage smell from my bathroom which I didn't like. But the biggest complaint with the bathroom was the window that, for my room, was directly opposite the exterior stairs. The window has some plastic opaque film over it, but it does an almost laughable job of actually blocking the view in. Anyone can see you sitting on the toilet or in the shower. The Swedes are more relaxed about this, but I felt quite exposed in this bathroom. The shower leaked out the bottom over the floor .. The bed was comfortable, but I slept terribly due to the warmth in the room. Even cracking a window did not help. You hear every noise your neighbor in the adjacent room makes, and I'm sure those below hear the floors above. It is crazy to have to open a window in November, the property needs to consider installing thermostats for the floor heating. We tried the spa last night and found it to be OK. The internal spa had a very irregular bubble system that made you feel you were getting punched in the kidneys .. but totally intermittently. The outdoor pool was nice and warm, but the water felt a little slimy (and in the harsh light of day the next day it did actually look a bit green). The spa has potential, but needs some TLC in my opinion. Staff on the whole were cordial but unmemorable, the waiter at the restaurant seemed like a nice guy. Checkout was at 09.00 - we had the conference so wasn't an issue for us, but for other guests 9am feels quite early. The conference venue (on the second floor of the main building) was fresh, modern and functional, and there was an excellent fika with coffee and candy provided throughout the day. ElsieFarm is going for a rustic/modern approach. It is a challenge to pull off both rustic and high class... there is some room for improvement. I really would have liked to give this experience 4 stars, but the sub-par bathroom, the spa and the other small things I mentioned knocked it down one. It will be interesting to come back to ElsieFarm next spring, and hope for a room in the main building. At any rate, I'm looking forward to the delicious food again!

- Maria (8/5): Golfmecka - Trevligt hotell intill golfbana. Vi reste med hund och fick ett rum i en byggnad några hundra meter bort från huvudbyggnaden. Fräscht och fint men en dörr in till badrummet som kärvade och lät störande när någon skulle använda toaletten under natten. Fin frukost med stort urval. Trevlig matsal och uteplats. God middagsmat.
- Strafverteidigerin (4/5): Nice place, awful room.. - Wo booked a room for 2 nights and asked for one where a dog is allowed. That seemed to be no problem. In fact wo got the ugliest room I ever had: it was super small, what is very inconvenient with a Bernese mountain dog. There was no closet in the room so had to live out of the suitcase. There was only one very small window to open a very small gap. We had 28 degree and no possibility to open the window! The dog was not allowed to stay in the restaurant, that was totally okay. So we asked to eat on the terrace. That only seemed to be okay. On the first evening we had a long discussion with the staff to get a table on the terrace , where not a single table was occupied so it should not be a problem. The weather was perfect but obviously it was inconvinient for the staff to serve the dinner outside. On the second evening we tried to make a reservation outside which was not possible. So it was difficult again to get a table. Elisefarm is such a nice place, but our stay which was the start in our one-week- holiday was not a good experience.

- Len (8/5): Goed verblijf - Wij verbleven er 1 nacht. Alles was aanwezig en we konden gratis gebruik maken van het zwembad in de tuin. Er hangen badjassen in de kamer, heel fijn. Personeel is aardig en behulpzaam. Bij aankomst wel even zoeken waar de receptie is.

Bodde i ett anex som tyvärr var väldigt lyhört och med enklare fönster så ljud från både grannrum, övervåning samt förbiresande trafik var lite störande. Men på hotellrummet fanns öronproppar för att öka bekvämligheten. Trevlig vistelse överlag. Kommer gärna tillbaka.

- Marie (10/5): Absolutely amazing - We had an amazing stay, treatment, Spa, dinner and breakfast at Elisefarm. Everything was perfect, our room was spacious, the beds comfortable and the interior styling cozy w respect to the history of the beautiful buildings. The Spa is larger and better than the photos on the web display, and if the weather is great you can really enjoy the outdoor facilities. The food is amazing too, sustainable with respect for local food traditions. We will absolute go back and highly recommend the farm
- Mija (10/5): Spa helg - Super bra service. Inget att klaga på. Maten så god och allt var över förväntan. Dock är det tyvärr väldigt lyhört. Annars rekommenderas Elisefarm åk dit och njut.

- Annelie (6/5): Riktigt dåligt - Rummet var under all kritik, det borde stå när man bokar rum om man hamnar i annexet eller inte, där är boendet värt mer än 2 stjärnor. Man får alltså hörselproppar med detta rum för att det är otroligt lyhört, jag trodde fönstret mot motorvägen var öppet, men så var det inte. Det var ett ständigt dån från vägen, sedan var det ju väldigt lyhört mellan rummen med. Dessutom så var bara ett av fönstren i badrummet insynsskyddat, inte det andra, så hamnar någon i bunkern kan hen få sig en ofrivillig blottning. Sedan är inte badrummets el fackmannamässigt gjort, en lampa med kabel som är skarvad med eltejp sitter strax ovanför duschen!
- Anders (10/5): Bra mottagande och mycket bra mat - Vi sov över en natt för ett jubileum i familjen. Personalen var hjälpsamma och ordnade en välkyld flaska cava på rummet i en vinkylare och två glas. Rummen i herrgården var mycket trevligt inredda med sköna sängar. Dock var det ganska lyhört mellan rummen men i badrummet fanns öronproppar som en snygg touch. Maten i restaurangen var toppklass med mycket trevlig betjäning och ett riktigt bra vin till fyndpris. Även frukosten var utmärkt. Som helhet kan jag vara rekommendera Elisefarm.

Eneste minus var saunaen i spa’en - den var så varm at man ikke kunne holde ud at sidde i den. Ikke en god ide at bænkene derinde er lavet i fliser og ikke træ. Ellers fin og hyggelig spa.

- Richard (8/5): Pleasant stay though some room for improvement. - On our first night we were given a small room instead of a larger room which we ordered. The staff corrected the problem the following day. Our stay was during a a few days of exceptionally warm weather and the rooms are not air conditioned and no fans were provided so we were a bit uncomfortable at night. The hotel should prepare for warmer with room fans in the future. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was exceptional. And the general vibe is great.

- Mats (10/5): Utmärkt boende. - Utmärkt boende men med följande förbättringar blir det ännu bättre: Ett riktigt handfat istället för en låda i en träram, hyllor i duschen för tvål och schampo.
- Jens (6/5): - Spa-delen är fantastisk, och restaurangen är bra. Rummet hade en del brister dock, ingen showstopper, men rummen på ena sidan är väldigt mörka, då det är ett ombyggt stall och endast ett litet stallfönster som släpper in ljus. Badrummet var antingen i behov av en renovering, eller så var det lite för hastigt ihopskruvat med en trasig spolknapp, en lutande vask så tvålet trillar ner hela tiden, en kärvande dörr och lite fuktigt. Det var också väldigt lyhört in till de andra rummen, med festande pensionärer och golfare, som tvunget skulle köra sitt bubbelbadkar mitt i natten.
- Henrik (8/5): Fantastiks mat - Mycket bra mat helt ok service i restaurangen hon var lite ung och oerfaren men kan bli hur duktig som helst hon var en bra bit på vägen. Rummen var ganska små men helt ok förutom värmen, det var närmare 30 grader när vi var där och det var samma temp på rummen. Men som helhet tycker vi det var ett mysigt ställe som vi mycket väl kan tänka oss återkomma till. Ett litet minus var att rummen inte var klara till incheckning.
- elisek853 (2/5): Övernattning - Worst spa we ever been to. The room smelled of plumbing and drainwater. They also had water damage. After moving us to another room with dirty beds and what could have been gential hair, with an unlockable bathroom door, they tried to make us pay for wine glasses we never ordered. Staff was not helpful and this is a place we cannot recommend the slightest.

- Karin (10/5): Nöjda! - Rum 110 Stallet är superfint, med riktigt bra sängar och stort badrum. Vi hade bokat middag med kvällsspa, men eftersom coronarestriktionerna gjorde att tiden för spa blev knapp, fick vi en "raincheck", så att vi kunde njuta av middagen i lugn och ro, och komma tillbaka och på spa en annan dag. Supertrevlig personal och jättefin service! Vi njöt i fulla drag!

- Christel (10/5): Spa-weekend - Mysigt ställe med bra spa-möjligheter. Trevlig personal och mycket god mat! Vårt rum i stallbyggnaden hade sköna sängar. Enda att anmärka på var duschen som knappt hade ngt tryck i sig. Härlig omgivning runtomkring.
- Hung Wai Addy (10/5): Good Place, nice service - This is an amazing trip. However, the whether in October is not so good
- Vinoth (8/5): - There were 2 pets in the reception. I am not sure if it is from hotel or guests. It looks like pet friendly hotel. I am okay with pets. If you are not pet friendly, double check before you book.
- M&S (10/5): Beautiful area - This hotel was very comfortable and the staff were excellent! Our room was in the stable block and was lovely, but it didn't have any wifi access. To get on to the internet you had to go to reception!
