• Kay (6/5): Beautiful property, really clean and well maintained, but definitely one to be used over summer. - It was beautiful, and would’ve lovely in summer. We stayed when there was a storm, so shutters and wooden doors were banging all night, power cuts means the emergency lighting keep coming on during the night. We were excited to use the outdoor bath, only to be told there was no hot water available, this was just a “summer” experience.

Ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και πολύ καθαρό, ιδανικό για ξεκούραση. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν ιδιαίτερα εξυπηρετικός και άμεσος στην επικοινωνία. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αναζητά μια αυθεντική και άνετη εμπειρία διαμονής!

• Paul (9/5): Lovely traditional 3 bed property within 5 mins of village centre - Lovely yard and separate single bedroom and ensuite. Some of the door latches were difficult to close and the doors moved in the wind during the night.
• Grete (10/5): Owner is fanastic and so is his place. - Everything was perfect from a to z except the heating system. That there were no radiotors instead of air-air conditioner from which we personally always get blocked noses and that you have to wait for hot water.

• Helen (6/5): Despite small issues, it was relaxing and cosy. - The property had been renovated some years ago. and although comfortable, need some touchups. The beds were so comfy. The bolts to all the doors, if, particularly at night the door was bolted and an emergency meant you could not unlock the bolts, it then becomes a serious issue, I would imagine also that it is difficult for children to reach. There was no wifi in the one side of the property. The a/c needs a service. Better lighting in the kitchen area.

• Dina (10/5): Excellent experience for my family with all comforts and value for money. - I stayed for one night with my family. We had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms clean and the garden was perfect to sit outside with my family and bond while playing board games. The amenities were great and kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It was truly a home away from home with all the comforts. The host was excellent and very accommodating. We received the location, info about the house and the history behind the house prior to our stay which was very helpful and considerate. I highly recommend this house for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful traditional village.

• Jiří (9/5): Beautiful place in a quiet area - Very nice accommodation suitable for a family with children or two couples. With a little modesty even for 3 couples. The bedrooms are wonderful with very comfortable beds. The courtyard is very nice and great to stay outside. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen. It's likely that no one had been in here for a long time. I believe it was just an unfortunate coincidence. Otherwise, everything was perfectly clean.

• Ellena (10/5): Exceptional Traditional cosy stone house in an idyllic setting - We loved our stay at House of Eleni. The traditional stone house is authentic and cosy, giving you a sense of being transported in time, but with a twist of modern touches. It is fully equipped - you just need to bring some groceries. The layout of this 3 bedroomed house is in 2 parts, which provided privacy between 2 couples, and the connecting courtyard brought us all together. The village is pretty too and an easy short walk to Tavernas/Cafe/Gin Bar/mini market. Perfect get away from the touristic hustle and bustle. 3O mins drive to Kato Paphos and 20 mins drive to Latchi Harbour. Communication with our host Marinos was excellent. He was very helpful and just a call away, providing plenty of information and tips about the house and location. His neighbour, Afroulla, who was equally friendly and helpful, showed us around the house and provided the keys. We would have loved to have stayed longer.
• Srdan (10/5): Perfect place for family stays! - It's a wonderful house; a perfect blend of traditional build for the area and full modern comfort. The host was great and communicative, sends a complete guide to the area for first timers. The village itself is also very authentic and beautiful, with a cafe, restaurants and even a mini market. Absolutely nothing to add here
• David (9/5): Superb - A really charming property in a beautiful village, spotlessly clean and full of character. The beds were comfortable and the property was well equipped with everything we needed.
• Anna (8/5): Very good - Mattresses are best, very comfy and cosy apartments This is a house and you need to consider that if you leave a bread on the table for a night, next morning it will be occupied by ants.

There was lots of tips & information provided about visiting different places in the area which was very useful. We only missed a vegetable peeler.

• Joseph (10/5): idyllic. cosy. rustic. peaceful. remarkable. - stunning location and cosy, well-laid-out and fully equipped house. so peaceful and quiet and the courtyard was a wonderful place to sit out and enjoy wine and the night’s sky. Kathikas, although small, had several excellent eating and cafe spots within easy walking distance. a couple of noisy neighbours but they were most likely rental guests too.

• Gleb (10/5): Exceptional - Very authentic and cozy! Feels like living in a traditional historic house, but with a modern level of comfort. There are a lot of interesting details like old iron, typewriter, scales etc. Beds are super comfortable and fireplace is especially relevant in the winter!

• Eleni (10/5): Beautiful stay in Kathikas - We loved our stay at House of Eleni! The place is very spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen if you plan to cook and enjoy meals in the courtyard. Kathikas is a beautiful village and lovely to walk around. This is a great location if you want to be near the beautiful beaches of the Akamas/Polis area, but away from the touristy areas - as long as you are happy to drive a little to get to the sea - as we were. Marinos was a great host, very attentive and full of great information about the house and the location. Would definitely stay here again.
