• Ld8a (10/5): awesome- especially staff service. big rooms - one of the best ryokans we've ever stayed in. good value for money (we went off peak season). staff service was just superb. you have to remove your shoes at the entrance but no worries they provide slippers for you to move around and your shoes will be waiting at the steps when you leave. clogs available if you're venturing out nearby. free yukata for women- yukatas were beautiful. watched youtube on how to wear it. swiss hospitality lost to this ryokan's hospitality. everyone was so helpful, even wiped clean the wheels of our suitcases. rooms were huge. initially was apprehensive because only the smallest room was available and did not see any toilets in the pictures but thankfully the rooms (even the smallest one) were HUGE. onsen quite small but unlike other prefectures, we noticed ppl around here tend to just soak for 10 mins and leave immediately after a soak so turnover was quite fast. food was amazing! bathroom tub area abit dated, especially the floors. however the sink areas were good. onsen hair drying area and shower area could also use a bit of renovation. only two hair dryers available. would've preferred faster replies to messages. understand that owner is away but was abit worried when barely received any replies. thankfully the ryokan end up being legit and a great place to stay

• Verified traveler (10/5): Best ryokan ever - We stayed in this ryokan for a family trip. The city is unknown to non-Japanese people, but the people at the ryokan were so kind and helpful. Sometimes it was not easy to communicate as their English was not the best, but they tried their best to help. The meals were awesome, and the bath places were great as well. We were totally satisfied and I strongly recommend this place.
