Guest Reviews
- Yolanda (10/5): - very nice and we are in our caravan
- Madeleine (3/5): Unfortunately, not a great experience. - Location was good. Unfortunately pretty let down by everything else. Unfortunately, we were feeling pretty let down when we arrived. We didnt expect anything fancy but, the bungalow we stayed in was very old and run down. It was freezing and we were unable to use the heating as it made a shaking sound and smelt like it was burning. The bathroom was dirty, sink was grubby and the water pressure terrible in the shower. The second bedroom with bunks smelt like mould so my son slept on the lounge to avoid getting sick. Luckily, we were only staying one night. The bungalow was freezing overnight, I luckily had extra blankets in my car to use because the ones provided were very thin.

- lorena (2/5): I do not recommend it. - The place had a very strong moldy smell. The ad said it had a hairdryer and a kettle, but it didn't. The place isn't safe; there were people running around in the middle of the night on the site. I'm very disappointed. Nothing
- Tracy (6/5): - Near the fabulous Basin Walk.
- Kunal (9/5): -
- Amy (5/5): - Clean and had everything i needed I noticed that there was no smoke alarm and the cleaners did not come an ask if i needed anything until the second last day i was there other then that i enjoyed my stay
- Lorena (9/5): -
- Cheyenne (5/5): - Room was clean Felt like you were sleeping on the slats
- Melissa (2/5): Not a good place to stay - Good that we had our own bathroom. The cabin was under a tree and the branches scraped all night which our family found very hard to sleep. The park was very dark and there was a lot of people walking around late at night being loud. Didn't feel safe. There was mould on the curtin. The beds were very uncomfortable. We left at 5am.
- Anna-louise (2/5): -
- yuet (5/5): - For three people, the stay was fairly acceptable…You can park right at the door, and it’s relatively close to Hyams Beach by car. there were hairs and small bugs on the bedding. The bathroom tap was constantly dripping, and there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and no hair dryer in room.
- Jacqui.83 (5/5): - Easy to find, good enough for our 1 night stop over. Decent sized rooms and storage space. Shower head was spraying everywhere and had minimal pressure and coverage. I had make the bunk beds.
- Kimberley (1/5): Do No Book or Stay Here - On arrival, staff member barely spoke, handed over keys and pointed us in direction of cabin, on entering cabin, it smelt so unpleasant, unclean.
The bunk bed had old foam mattresses with a protector that appeared unwashed.
My sister and I did not feel comfortable staying for our two night booking, the accommodation quality was poor for the $350 charged for both nights. We left to find alternate accommodation. On contacting the park, refund was refused. Response was they could have resolved the issue, we were not confident. I also booked in a hurry and didn’t read the poor reviews from previous travellers.
We booked a room for the same cost closer to beach that was 100 times cleaner and very nice.

- Julia (10/5): - For the price we paid it was excellent. We really have slept so good.
- FECENTA (6/5): Went to Huskisson Jervis Bay - The location, still need of improvements! Accessible location
- Jenny (8/5): -
- Cristina (7/5): Great stay for 1 night - Nice place to stay 1 night, close area to the places we wanted to see. At the accomodation was Milk in the fridge and coffe and tee. The only thing to mention, if any, is that checking is only from 3 to 5pm so the time frame is a bit short, we had to organise our trip to fit this in, but in the end all worked great.
- Petra (6/5): -
- Peter (2/5): Felt stuck in the 1970s — loud, smelly AC, poor kitchen, poor bathroom; glad it was only one night. - LOCATION --- quite place Once we entered the property, it felt like we had stepped back into the 1970s. At first we thought, ‘cool, retro vibe,’ but that changed quickly once we saw the actual facilities. The air conditioner was definitely from the 70s—loud, smelly, and completely inefficient.
We rented two bungalows for a group of eight, and we were honestly relieved that we only booked for one night. The place really needs an upgrade, especially the aircon and basic amenities. Disappointing overall.
- oleg (5/5): -
- Andreas (5/5): - Die Lage ist gut Etwas runter gekommen , Klima Anlage war defekt und die Möbel sind kaputt
- Andrea (9/5): - The location was great. Bed was very comfortable, shower had good pressure and decent size. Screen door had holes in it. Ac was noisy.
- Sweta (9/5): -
- Meagan (7/5): Not bad wouldn’t go back - Close to the water Not comfortable
- juan (9/5): - . .
- Ebony (8/5): Clean and comfortable stay. Friendly and professional staff. - Clean and good value for money N/A
- Nicky (1/5): Do not stay here - Nothing, we left as soon as we could Looked like a bad backpacker, unkept park. Poor cabin. We don’t feel safe and went about trying to find alternative accommodation. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough
- Molly (7/5): Nice stay, cleanliness updating needed - The colour of the hut was fun. The laundry was brill. Staff were lovely. Location was ok, loads of kangaroos around so that was fun. The cleanliness standards were low and it wasn’t completely clean.
- hemsen (5/5): -
- Dean (7/5): Only there 2 days which was enough for us - Reasonably priced Beds need new mattresses
- Dino (5/5): - TV had very bad reception, not watchable and the floor though it looked clean it was full of sand

- Linda (10/5): -

- Deepak (10/5): - A wonderful place to stay
Had a nice experience staying overnight with family of 4
Overall enjoyed all amenities .
Recomended for anyone visiting jervis bay or surrounding area .
Thanks to the host for such a lovely place . Noisy air conditioner
- P (5/5): it's a simple place in a small town that is quiet and seems very safe. - simple place. wikicamps reviews prepared me and i did'nt mind it was quite run down. given dirty room on check in to begin with. freezer needed serious defrost, heater only had 2/4 wheels.
- Ryan (10/5): Was still enjoyable and lived the short stroll to the beach - Was clean and tidy How small the carspot is next to the cabin to park in. Not easy to navigate a bigger vehicle with.
- Angela (8/5): -
- Heather (2/5): -
- Sheila Paleracio (7/5): - The space was clean, the bed was comfortable It looks very outdated. There was a tear and break in the whole place. The whole caravan park was also dirty too. And the pool was closed on the days we are booked
- Nirjala (10/5): -
- Alba (10/5): - Direi bella spaziosa rispetto ad altri campeggi in cui sono stata. Pulita e davvero comoda per raggiungere i punti principali di jervis bay.
Per il prezzo che offre davvero un buon affare.
- Clarke (6/5): Pleasant - Location is spectacular
- Stanley Kiptoo (10/5): -
- Valetta (4/5): -
- Kirk (4/5): Brief - Location was close to beach Floors felt greasy and the overall cabin felt dirty and poorly maintained. The lounge was flaking so we covered it with a sheet ended up just using shower and hanging for a few hours and continued our journey home rather then stay the night.
- Dahal (8/5): -
- Matthew (2/5): -
- Jessica (7/5): -
- Taylah (10/5): - Was super easy to access. Nil issues checking in or out. Simple cabin. Had everything you need. Bathroom was fine and so was kitchen.
- benevilant (10/5): - Great park,location
- Quy-Son (7/5): -
- Jane (2/5): Please read the reviews before booking - This accommodation and the service was disappointing to say the least. We arrived at 5.15 pm when the office was closed, which is fair. It took a good 30 minutes for someone to answer the out of office phone, however, to relay information that could have been done efficiently via an email. Our main issue was the cleanliness of the apartment and the lack of help in resolving issues. There was an opened milk left in the refrigerator, hair on the unmade beds, and not a single plate or bowl in sight. Not only that, but there are a lack of blankets. When asked if it would be possible tp get another blanket over the phone, we were told that this was impossible after hours. There was also a strong, foul smell coming from the accommodation. The overnight price was high and I would expect some service for the price. Moving forward, I will always read the reviews before booking accomodation. The lack of hygiene and the lack of service.
- Nancy (9/5): -
- Conroy (4/5): -
- Linda (1/5): Needs a revamp - Absolutely nothing It was very outdated
- Sanjay (8/5): - There was a sound, like a generator or some machinery, running throughout the night. It made it difficult for us to sleep that was the only negative part of our stay.
- García (10/5): -
- Sweta (8/5): - Good Good
- Joe (1/5): -
- Jay (3/5): Not ideal - Location Cockroach’s in room
- Tegan (1/5): Not children friendly and disgusting - Location People need to know that this place is not suitable for children AT ALL!
There was no heating due to the heater being an absolute hazard (see pictures) not to mention the smoke alarm had been removed (see photo). The kids opened the fridge and we all nearly vomited due to an overwhelming stench of something that flooded the cabin which made it completely unusable, so we couldn’t even put our drinks in there. There was only 2 spare blankets all of which super thin and I was staying there with a gf and my 2 kids so we had to pair up with the kids in a single bed just to try and stay warm. Finally, we woke up to men in the park yelling and swearing which scared the kids to the point they didn’t feel safe. We messaged the after hours number about the smell from the fridge and they couldn’t even be bothered to reply let alone acknowledge any level of accountability of their laziness and uncleanliness.
Completely inappropriate and regret ever having stayed here. This is the worst place I have ever stayed.
- Rahul (8/5): -
- Sheik (8/5): -
- Steele (8/5): - The bed
- Angela Lucia (1/5): uncomfortable - The Customer service was amazing! The price does not match what they offer; it should be much cheaper. We were woken up by people next door shouting, insulting each other, and fighting. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the cleaning was very superficial, and the grounds were very neglected with many potholes
- max (5/5): - bed is extremely small, heater didn’t work. hot water in shower only lasted about a minute
- Nazeen (4/5): neat. very basic -
- sheree (6/5): -
- amy (10/5): -
- Julie (10/5): - Everthing
- Linda (6/5): Convenient place to stay, but that’s all it has going for it. - It suited a purpose for my stay in the area. Pool would be good in summer for kids. A stove top in the cabin would be good and effective heating for winter. Camp kitchen, laundry and ammenities block on site. In winter it’s freezing inside the cabin. An electric blanket would be ideal. The heater provided didn’t keep you warm. The grounds to the property require a huge overhaul to clean it up for more appeal to want to stay again. I won’t be staying again. The office is closed the whole time you’re there. I dropped off the keys into the lock box then realised I left my handbag with my licence in it. Messaged a number, but advised there was no one to come out to help unlock the cabin. With the office being closed I waited 2 and half hours for the cleaner to arrive. She was surprised to see me there waiting. Delayed my trip home by 3 hours.
- Julie (10/5): Family - The cabin colours
Close to things we needed to do and see
- Kerry (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant -
- Srinivasa (4/5): Disappointing - Location and cleanliness was good. But there is no staff available at the property at any time. Also, there is no wifi at the property and when approached the office there was no one even in the night or day. When called a number that was displayed on the board, there was little help.
- Mark (3/5): Poor - Comfortable bed. Location away from everything. Parking was so tight to my cabin and difficult to get into. No cooking facilities in the cabin other than the microwave and had to resort to a camp kitchen for pot cooking and just 1 hotplate working on 2 plate cooker. Very inconvenient and messy in wet weather
- Yilei (7/5): Good -
- Joshua (3/5): Obviously ok to stop over if u don’t mind ur back sore the next day I would have paged the same for a decent cheap motel - It had a parking bay next to cabin which was handy It was a thin walled very run down cabin I felt like it was not clean properly the beds were paper thin cheap crappy towels and linen single beds weren’t made floors weren’t clean and very little soap was given, was a loud park a lot of yelling smoking area was next to our cabin so not great especially with the kids! Wouldn’t recommend wasn’t ideal I felt unsafe in the area and was a large amount of money for what it was/ holes in walls ext
- Rachael (7/5): Good -
- Bijaya (9/5): Superb -
- Upadhyay (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (8/5): Very good - The caravan. It's cute. Old but clean. The TV has few channels to watch. Major channels have no signals. The door looks like the intruder can easily break in. It likes falling apart. They didn't provide the sponge for the dishes to wash. They will charge if you left the dishes unwash. All minor issues. Overall, our experience as a family is satisfactory.
- Smith (4/5): Probably wont again - The coloured cabins were fun. The bunks were unbearable, I had both kids 6&9 in the bed with me as their mattresses were so thin. They described it as the worst caravan park they have ever been to. There’s nothing to do. Luckily my bed was very comfortable.
- Breanna (4/5): Disappointing - Tv did not work in room, mattress were not comfortable at all
- Weihui (3/5): Poor -
- Ana (6/5): Pleasant -
- Helen (1/5): Bad -
- Peter (10/5): It was great for what we needed -
- Camila (6/5): Pleasant -
- Damon (7/5): Good -
