- Sally (7/5): Busy area near times square in Mid Town is good for business trip. - The 2 King size beds in the same room were outstanding for a family. Really a treat to sleep on after a long day sightseeing. The decor was clean and modern in the rooms and in the dining room. The hotel's photos are exactly what you see in real life. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating. The hand held shower wand in the shower was also a nice touch. As for location to other things, there is a nice selection of Bagel shops and bakeries near by. Also a Whole foods and a nice wine shop around the corner. I really wanted to not be bothered by the street the hotel resides on but since we were there for a vacation, I have to say that the constant delivery trucks and vans parked on the street day and night was a blight to look at and hear every time we walked out. The street where the Luma front door is located is the back loading zone for a Whole Foods grocery store and other businesses that are on these two blocks. If this were a business trip I would not have been bothered by it. But since we were on Vacation, it brought down the niceness of the hotel property in my opinion.

Es limpio, silencioso, ascensores rápidos, 5 habitaciones por planta. Las habitaciones son amplías, el WC completo, reponen toldos los días amenities, toallas y te dejan chocolatinas, tiene nevera y wifi gratis, las camas super grandes y muy cómodas como sus almohadas, mi habitación era extremadamente silenciosa al dar a un patio cosa que pedí. Limpieza diaria, el desayuno muy bien. El personal muy atento, agradable y dispuesto, si es cierto que deberían tener más conocimiento de Español, pero insisto, magnífico personal. - Getaway583813 (10/5): Girls NYC Trip - Hotel location is great right near Bryant Park with easy walk to midtown, theaters, Times Square etc. The rooms are designed to make the most of the space and they utilize the space well. The beds and pillows were super comfy and the comforter and linens very nice. The Dyson hair dryers and coat hooks are a bonus as well as the robot that delivered our ice to the room. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend for a NYC visit. The only challenge we had was cell service in our room which could have been room specific.

Oh there’s a Dyson hairdryer. When you arrive, they’re just kind of like “hey.” Not exactly a warm welcome. The elevators have a mind of their own. There’s no gym or rooftop and the restaurant has odd hours. And even for NY, our room was ridiculously tiny. When the couch bed is extended, it literally touches the other bed so to get from one side of the room to the other, you have to crawl over two beds. Definitely not for families

Not a single disappointing encounter, quite the opposite. Only friendly people, helping and supporting. The most memorable encounter was inside the lift. We headed out to get some New York Pizza, and a Staff member gave us a list of recommendations within walking distance. That's excellent service, exceeding any of our expectations. The rooms are also huge, comfy, and quiet. We will stay here whenever we are in New York. If I had to pick something, it would be the choice of amenities. While the products are good, the packaging is not. The caps are a bit hard to handle if you take a shower. But that's really nitpicking.

The gentleman who ran the breakfasts during the week went out of his way to ensure we were happy. I loved all the extras in the rooms like the makeup mirror, Dyson hair dryer, robes, and white noise machine. Bonus that we got to keep the slippers! The only downside was the view from our room, which just made it feel dark and dreary. We could never tell what the actual weather outside was and opening the shade felt a little creepy. That wouldn’t stop me from staying here again though & hoping for a room on a different side of the hotel.

I found the room and bathroom were modern, clean, and well kept and spacious for Times Square NYC. We requested to be near the elevator and this was honored, but honestly all the rooms were in easy walking distance of the elevator. Our room came equipped with both a Dyson hair dryer and attachments, a sound machine, and N'espresso coffee maker. An Urban view meant it looks out over a brick walls and an alley. We didn't need a view though. The location of the hotel was close to Bryant Park and 2 blocks from the Stephen Sondheim Theatre where we went to see &Juliet. Perfect for my mom who has mobility issues. The lobby was small and a intentionally dimly lit, but we didn't need a big dramatic lobby, so this didn't bother us. Much of the lobby space was dedicated to their bar and restaurant instead. We stayed on a Sunday night in mid-April and paid under $300 for the room, which I consider a good value for the quality of the hotel. Very impressed overall and would return!

Huge suite room with gorgeous city view. Beautiful shower, two refrigerators, tons of drawer storage, Dyson hairdryer. Super fast elevator. Wonderful, modern hotel. Exceptional service. On site gourmet Aperibar restaurant with great pizza, elevated offerings like lobster ravioli.

Special shout out to Alyssa, George and Anthony who made sure the entire stay was magical! They really care about their guests and I appreciated that extra attention to detail. Clean, quiet and a great location! The entire staff was fantastic. Definitely would stay again for next visit!

It was right off the beaten path which made it convenient to pop back into the room to recharge. The staff were super friendly and the room was clean. The elevator music was awesome too! - Resort23723292010 (10/5): Great stay at a amazing hotel - Its an amazing hotel, centrally located, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Our room had two queensize and comfortable beds and was tastefully decorated. A quite room, on the rear side of the hotel, not facing the street. The staff was very attentive and friendly, top service!
- Delphine (9/5): - L’hôtel est top ! Le personnel est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, dévoué et à vos petits soins ! Les équipements sont parfaits (sèche cheveux dyson !). Le petit déjeuner est simple mais très bon ! Le restaurant de l’hôtel est également très bon. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est tout simplement parfait.
