Luís (9/5): Away from center but great location (near Hefei PSB and a big mall). Amazing view to Chaohu Lake. - Excellent location with a nearby mall (big and filled with good shops), near the public security bureau if you're looking to solve your documentation in for staying in Hefei, and lots of barbecue restaurants and convenience stores. The view from the bedroom was amazing with Chaohu Lake right in front of me. The staff was incredibly helpful and although they spoke little English, they were happy to assist and tried their best. The hotel restaurant closed too early in the evening I stayed and the breakfast did not have western options beyond fried eggs (with a broken yolk), bread, and some breakfast cereal. Maybe I did not look for it thoroughly enough but I did not find a coffee machine or juices.
