We had a private room off the lounge, linen provided. Great shower pressure The main shared shower has nowhere to put personal items or clothing, poor ventilation, and fan not working properly. This may need to be something to consider adding a shelf or more hooks to hang clothing on. Given that shared bathroom is multi sex. There is no lock on the sliding door to the hanbasin area. If you were getting changed, anyone could walk in, as there is limited room in the shower cubicle, which is lockable

The bunk rooms are very spacious and the common facilities like kitchen and the bathrooms are very well maintained. The upper bunk beds dont have any rails or handlings, it was a bit difficult to climb and get down. Although the beds are very clean and cozy.

Luckily there was only one other people staying in there with me, so we could speak out our things. But if more beds were taken up, it would be cramped with everyone’s belongings.

We’re just enjoying chatting with each other so much. They give me a map of Oxford which I can see somewhat we should try in the small town. Overall, that was one of the most nicest backpackers ever!

The hostel is in the centre of Oxford with several lovely hikes nearby. The rooms are tiny with minimal storage space. If the hostel had been busier there would have been competition for the limited bathroom facilities.

The added touches of having shampoo, shower gel, etc. is a lovely touch. Honestly - the whole experience is far beyond what is charged. Love coming back here to stay pre-race every year.

The walls are quite thin so I can imagine it being loud when it’s busy. It was pretty quiet when I stayed so didn’t bother me (and I use earplugs)

• Rodger (10/5): Our stay here was excellent, we would recommend it for anyone who is not looking for expensive accom - The motel was quiet and the general facilities were very good. The hosts went the extra mile for us with providing tea, coffee, milk, cereal, and they were so friendly and helpful. the rooms were warm and clean. We will definitely go back to this accommodation in the future. Double room was a bit snug but we were only in there for a few hours to sleep so it wasn't a big issue for us. This is not a 'didn't like' it's just a general comment...
