• Dirk (7/5): - Es gab Surfbretter, die man gegen eine Gebühr von 1000 LKR am Tag mieten konnte. Der Strand war arg vermüllt und das Personal hat kaum Englisch gesprochen, so dass eine Kommunikation beim Frühstück kaum möglich war. Wir haben ein Ei pro Person bestellt und die doppelte Anzahl erhalten und mussten dann für jedes Ei einen Euro bezahlen.
• Lea (9/5): - Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht im Seascape verbracht. Die Lage ist sehr schön, direkt am Strand wo man auch surfen kann . Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und lieb. Wir haben uns sofort Wohl gefühlt.

• Johannes (10/5): Perfect short stay - My sister and I stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel has a beautiful sea view and is very quiet and relaxing. The location is perfect for visiting nearby places like Hiriketiya and Mirissa. The whole team was amazing and incredibly kind. When my sister hurt her knee after a private surf lesson, they immediately helped her and took great care of us. We were even able to have dinner in our room that evening, which we really appreciated. The food was very good, and we would definitely recommend staying here.
• Bryan (9/5): - The beach had perfect sand and was very quiet. Lots of people learning to surf but few people on the beach. Always plenty of recliners to sit on, either on the beach or in the garden. The breakfasts were delicious and enormous! The dinners we ate here were also excellent. The staff were also very friendly. All in all, a very relacing place to stay. The pool does not receive much sun so was not warm enough for me to go in.

Почитайте внимательно, скрыт налог 18% и 10% за обслуживание. Итого за ночь прибавили 25 $ Бассейн чистый, но вид на соседние разбитые крыши, а не на море. На пляже песок чёрный, грязный, а рядом стоят кафе , где запах болота и канализации. И сделаны они из всего что принесли со свалки. Очень много мух.Противно находиться прям рядом с ними, так как у отеля территория маленькая. Парковки нет, она на улице, а мы приехали на машине. Номер чистый, слов нет, но мы же приехали не только в номере сидеть. Короче, ребята, кто читает этот отзыв и уважает себя, свой отдых, не советую этот дом.Это отелем нельзя называть. Да, еще хочу добавить, очень много серферов. Они приезжают со всех мест. Это их место, волны хорошие для обучения, у них проходят здесь тренировки. А пляж нам совсем не понравился, грязный. На завтрак принесли меню, на выбор блюдо, я увидела кашу, заказав, сказали надо заранее заказывать, зачем тогда предлагать если заказывать завтрак надо заранее, смешно! Мы обычно продлеваем номер, если нам нравиться, а этот раз хотелось быстрее уехать . Все, кроме номера.

• Nikola (6/5): Preis/Leistung leider nicht vorhanden - Tolle Lage direkt an einem traumhaften Strand, fürs Surfen ideal! Die Gartenanlage mit den Liegen war sehr gepflegt. Das Personal war überwiegend sehr freundlich. Leider war hier das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht vorhanden. Angefangen damit, dass das Zimmer nicht so sauber war, wie man es für 125€ die Nacht erwarten würde. Der Boden war dreckig, die Fenster (mit Blick aufs Meer) verschmiert und im Bad hat es die ganze Zeit über gestunken. Generell ist das Hotel schon älter und wirklich teilweise renovierungsbedürftig. Der Pool ist sehr sauber, lädt aber leider nicht zum Baden ein. Der Koch war sehr nett und das Frühstück gut! Das Abendessen hatten wir nicht probiert. Die Mitarbeitenden waren alle sehr nett, bis auf die Dame am Empfang, die uns leider am Ende den Roller, den wir für 5 Tage gemietet hatten, doppelt hat zahlen lassen, obwohl wir ihr das Geld vorab in Bar gegeben haben. Statt einem Entgegenkommen wurde auf dem eigenen Recht beharrt und uns die Schuld zugewiesen. Lasst euch für alles unbedingt eine Quittung geben! Bei dem Niveau, das das Hotel vorgibt zu haben wirklich enttäuschend.
• Isabel (9/5): Relaxing - The hotel was gorgous and the staff were amazing. It’s on a gorgous beach with amazing views. The location of the hotel in terms of its area in Sri Lanka wasn’t great. We felt a bit uncomfortable when we left the hotel and slightly unsafe. The hotel didn’t serve lunch and we found it hard to find anywhere nearby that served food which was disappointing. If we could have stayed in the hotel the entire time we would have been happy.

• Tim Bastian (8/5): Erholung pur in toller Gartenanlage - Das Hotel liegt an einem ruhigen Strand. Wunderbar, um den Surfern im Wasser zuzuschauen oder es selber auszuprobieren (Surfbretter können im Hotel oder am Strand ausgeliehen werden). Die Gartenliegen und die DayBeds sind in einem super Zustand. Auch die Korbsessel auf dem Balkon waren sehr bequem, sodass man auch dort mehrere Stunden den Ausblick genießen konnte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und fleißig. Jeder hatte ein offenes Ohr. Auch mit dem Chefkoch konnten Extrawünsche für das Dinner besprochen werden. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt! Unser Klodeckel müsste einmal ausgetauscht werden, da dieser schon stark verfärbt war. Zudem fiel oft der Strom aus (insbesondere nachts). Dieses Problem muss jedoch nicht zwangsläufig am Hotel liegen.

• Patrick (10/5): Notre meilleur hébergement au Sri Lanka - Une situation exceptionnelle avec un accès direct sur une superbe plage peu fréquentée, essentiellement des surfeurs. Un jardin très bien aménagé qui donne sur la plage. Le service est très attentionné. Notre chambre au rez de jardin donne un accès direct à la plage. Excellent petit déjeuner. Literie impeccable. Quelques petits restaurants sur la plage. Nous avons eu la chance de voir une tortue pondre au bord du mur de l’hôtel et le lendemain des bébés tortues naître à 5 m de là. Le wifi est un peu faiblard dans notre chambre

• Inga (7/5): Decent - The property is right on the beach with nice views. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. It’s not the most beautiful beach on the South Coast and the hotel feels a little overpriced for what it offers. The food, in particular, could really use some improvement.

Very comfortable bed. cleaning in all areas could be a bit better. I had amazing soup and carrot pancakes but the vegetarian burger was pretty bad. I guess is better to order local food but I’m vegetarian and there’s no a lot of options. Other than that I had a lovely stay.

• Gaston (7/5): Super hôtel mais le rapport qualité-prix n’est vraiment pas le meilleur qu’on ai pu avoir au Sri Lanka. - La vue est exceptionnelle, le personnel est aux petits soins, les chambres sont confortables. L’établissement s’est montré très arrangeant pour un départ anticipé. Certains équipements sont défraîchis. La plage est très sale. La nourriture pourrait être meilleure. La salle de bain sentait fort l’humide et nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude le premier soir. Le patron a insisté (beaucoup) pour nous faire payer les 5 nuits à notre arrivée (pourquoi pas, même si nous sommes habitués à payer l’intégralité de la note à la fin du séjour), avant même que nous ayons pu voir la chambre. Prendre en compte que vous êtes à une certaine distance de Mirissa car il faut traverser la grande ville de Matara.

• Chiara (9/5): Angenehmes Hotel in ruhiger Gegend, für Surfer ein Traum - Schönes kleines und modernes Hotel mit freundlichen Leuten die immer bemüht sind
• Regina (7/5): Preis/Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht - Wir hatten das grosse, sehr geräumige Zimmer gebucht. Bett ist bequem. Der Balkon ist sehr schön und geschützt auch bei Regen mit bequemen Sesseln. Das Abendessen war sehr gut. Das Zimmer hatte eine 4m Fensterfront. Leider liessen sich die Vorhänge aber nur 2m öffnen. So war das Zimmer sehr dunkel. Schade! Auch der Pool ist eine Fehlplanung! Er liegt hinter anstatt vor dem Haus mit einer nicht sehr tollen Umgebung. Beim Duschen gab es eine Überschwemmung weil das (nur kalte) Wasser nicht abfloss. Das Frühstück war das schlechteste das wir je hatten. Wenig Obst, Eier und dazu nur trockenes weisses Toastbrot, Butter und wenig Konfitüre. Für den Preis erwartet man ein breiteres Angebot auch mit einheimischen Speisen.

• Adam (10/5): - A stay that exceeded all expectations! We stayed at The Seascape for almost two weeks with our 10-month-old son and loved every minute of it. The hotel is perfectly located, with a surf beach right below. The room was spacious and clean, with very good air conditioning and a balcony offering a fantastic view of the ocean. But most importantly, the staff are the friendliest and most service-minded we have ever encountered. They did everything they could to make our stay as wonderful as possible. We truly became part of the family! A thousand thanks again for everything.
• Pamela (9/5): Es hat uns absolut gefallen! Preis-Leistung hat für uns gepasst. - Die Gartenanlage mit den Liegestühlen war schön mit grüner Wiese. Man konnte auf sehr bequemen Sesseln vor dem Zimmer (wir waren im untersten Stock - Gartenebene) sitzen. Gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Abendessen, wenn man im Hotel essen wollte, das muss vorab (am Nachmittag) mitgeteilt werden. Die Zimmer waren sauber, tolle Dusche!

• Laura (10/5): Always again! - One of the best places we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka – hands down. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food… probably the best we had during our entire trip. Definitely ask if they can prepare a traditional Sri Lankan dinner — it’s not on the menu, but they’ll happily arrange it. The beach is right in front of the hotel. The waves are high enough to be fun, but still safe for swimming and beginner surfers. Right next door is a turtle conservation spot — we even got to release baby turtles into the ocean. A truly magical experience. The hotel wasn’t crowded at all, and the architecture is smart and beautiful. You can tell the rooms and the entire space were designed with care and love. Matara itself was one of the most interesting places we visited. It felt more authentic and less touristy than other coastal towns. We’d come back in a heartbeat — highly recommended. Nothing

• Ramona (9/5): great stay with amazing seaview and very friendly staff - We really liked the accommodation. It's right on the beach with private sun loungers and parasols - that was the deciding factor for us when booking. The complex is very clean, the staff is very friendly and you feel very comfortable. The pool is also clean and the water is pleasant. The sea is a bit stormier but you can go in easily. We were very happy with the room, it was a great size, clean and the balcony with sea view was perfect for relaxing. The shower had great water pressure and the size of the bathroom was adequate. The breakfast was very extensive and definitely too much for us (less could be offered here). Unfortunately not all the towels were clean, but these were changed and checked immediately. In our opinion, the bathroom lacked ventilation, as it gets very humid in the bathroom (once you've showered, you sweat again). The staff only speak rather poor/little English, which unfortunately led to misunderstandings for us (especially when paying for the safari, which was a rather unpleasant situation for us). It would be really good if the language skills were improved. But they are always very helpful! We only had dinner once at the hotel, which was ok but lacked spices.

Ate the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner and the curries were some of the best we have had. Generous servings too. Our room was large and the bed comfortable. Sitting on the balcony in the comfortable chairs was lovely. Would book again. Nothing

• Michael (9/5): We had a great time, thank you a trillion dear Dinusha you are a star! - Dinusha is an absolute perl, such a lovely and wonderful person. The lazy chairs and umbrellas at the beach are great. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is very average. Smoking should not be allowed on the rooms balconies. If someone smokes next to you then your room fills up with smoke!

• Jakub (10/5): A chill escape with a nearly private beach, friendly staff, and plenty of sunbeds to unwind. - I had an awesome stay here! The hotel is in a great spot—quiet and perfect for unwinding. The beach almost felt private and there were plenty of sunbeds to relax on. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was a bit the same every day, but we still enjoyed it, and the other restaurant food was tasty and fairly priced. A quick tip: rent a scooter if you can, though there are tuktuks parked right outside most of the time. Our room was clean and the WiFi worked most of the time. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place for a chill getaway!
• Anthony (10/5): As seen on the web but better than our expectations ! - We had a lovely room overlooking the small garden and long beach. A great position. The beach was ideal for walking and the surf perfect for beginners upwards. The breakfast was terrific , the staff super friendly and facilities on point. Whilst the food was good we felt that dinner could have had more local food options. One might we ate next door where freshly caught fish and local curries were available. We felt Seascape have the opportunity to offer similar in a more comfortable setting that Seascape have.
• Estelle (10/5): Exceptional - The view from the room is exceptional and you can fall asleep with the sound of the waves. Everything is turned towards the beach so you can enjoy proximity to the ocean. The beach is mainly visited by surfers so it's very calm.

• Jessica (10/5): A fantastic hotel - A very nice small and personal hotel right by the sea. The rooms were modern, clean and had a nice balcony facing the ocean. Even the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. We spent 3 nights there which was perfect since it is quite far from everything and we spend all our time inside the hotel. The dishes on the menu were not that many and a bit expensive to be Sri Lanka. For 3 days it was ok and the food was very good.

• Nina (10/5): Perfect holiday. - Everything was perfect, from the first minute, until last. The staff is so friendly, doing everything with a big smile. Food so delicious, and you can eat fresh sea food every day. Location is perfect, with just few steps from room to ocean. 10/10! Nothing.
• Peter (9/5): A lovely stay in a beautiful property which ticks all of the boxes. - This is a superb property. Very comfortable rooms and super friendly staff. The food too is top notch. When it comes to breakfast they are almost too generous, it isn't a choice between western and Sri Lankan breakfast, you get both. It is right above a quiet stretch of beach and the balconies are the ideal place to chill out. Wish I had booked for more than one night. I will almost certainly be back. In terms of its provision I have nothing to criticise. The only reason I gave it a 9 and not a 10 is a slight question mark over cost. My room cost me 130 USD which is roughly double what I have been paying for other almost (but not quite) equally good rooms. Not a big issue and it won't stop me returning but it is my only minor critical observation
• Silvana (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great time, directly next to the very beautiful Beach and wild Ocean. A big balcony to sit and enjoy sunset. The room was very big and clean, the bathroom had even 2 Showers. The food was delcious, specially we loved the Breakfast and the "Rice and Curry". The staff was very friendly and kind. They tried to make everything very comfortable for us. One time we got a fresh coconut directly from the tree in our garden. The ocean is perfect for surfers and to play around with the waves. Some times we went to town, or another beach with a Tuktuk. This was very uncomplicated and not far. We did a crocodile tour on the river, the hotel offered in the programm and we were very lucky to get very close to a huge cocodile. We will remeber this week in the hotel as a very good time of our lives.

The chef went above and beyond, creatively crafting local-style cuisine that perfectly met my dietary requirements as a celiac. • Malgos000 (9/5): Cozy beachfront hotel perfect for relaxing stay! - Cozy, small beachfront hotel, excellent for relaxing stay. Good size rooms with balcony and nice bathroom. Excellent food on site, including great breakfast. Friendly stuff. It was my 2nd stay and I hope not the last.
• Britta (9/5): Amazing sea side location and priceless views - The superb beach location, the views are priceless and the staff goes above and beyond! Well maintained pool area as well as sea facing chill area. Quiet area was exactly what we wanted, though you have to be aware that the sound of see is nothing but quiet ;) A bit pricey after all, but they tried their best to make it worth it.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Truly relaxing escape at Seascape - We loved out stay, hotel staff were so attentive and went out of our way to enjoy the experience. The meals were truly amazing, Dinusla cooked our dinner as we were the first guests for the season and Wow! It was the best Sri/Lankan meal we have ever had. Breakfast was so delicious, fresh fruit & juice, eggs of choice plus delicious delicate curry with roti. Sean, Uden and Shenal were fabulous, they felt like family when we had to depart.

• Kavindra (9/5): Great place to stay for a short stay period. - Loved the view from the rooms and easy access to the beach. Very calm and quiet. Great place to relax. Limited options for breakfast but it was great! Check in process could be smoother. Bathrooms need a bit more lighting.
• Brahmam (10/5): The Seascape is at the end of South Asia and opens to the Ocean which connects to Antarctica! - Initially I have doubts about the location but after reaching only I realized that it is the place I was looking at to enjoy the weekend. We walked a lot on the beach, which looks more like a private one to the property. Excellently maintained. Taken care of each and every minute detail in rooms as well as outside, as everything is custom made exclusively for The Seascape. Certainly not one of the rundown hotels and guesthouses in Matara. Would plan another visit in December when the Ocean is going to be pleasant. The wooden stubs depicting feminine figures used as door stoppers, though made very artistically.
• Jenna (10/5): Exceptional service from two kind hearted people - We had a wonderful time here. Excellent breakfast and two very helpful staff who looked after us during this time. Senal gave us with a coconut water as we were sun baking around the pool which was greatly appreciated. I left behind my AirPods at this accommodation and Senal came and dropped them to me at my next accommodation - he went above and beyond for us.
• Iwan (7/5): Good - Friendly and helpful staff. Good food for a reasonable price. Take the upper rooms for a great ocean view. Tasteful style and architecture for this price class. We feel the need to be brutally honest here: the hotel is supposed to be a beach front hotel. However: the beach largely disappeared due to coastal erosion. What is left of it is covered in marine litter and oil from nearby shipping lanes. The pictures in the profile therefore don’t reflect the present day situation at the time of our visit. This made our stay disappointing. We fully understand that this is beyond the responsibility or influence of the hotel.

Breakfast was great soo much food and they did a lovely takeaway breakfast for when we had to leave early one morning. The beach wasn’t very pleasant it was really dirty and littered which was a shame as we booked the hotel for the beachfront location and then didn’t use the beach.

• Steffi (10/5): - Tolle Unterkunft am Meer, schöner Garten, gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück! Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man Ruhe sucht und surfen möchte. Am Strand ist man oft allein, paradiesisch. Mirissa ist schnell z.B. mit Tuktuk erreichbar.
