• Verified traveler (4/5): - Rooms are extremely small and share one community restroom on each floor. The room I was placed in did not even resemble the room that was pictured. It was slightly smaller than my walk-in closet back home, yet they squeezed a bunk bed into the room.

• Gino (6/5): - location was close to the airport for my travel back home. location of the hotel was in an alley way which was hard to find, no signs are posted. but when I called the hotel they gave me directions to another location that was connected to the same hotel. hotel is under remodel, no fridge or microwave...
• coburn (4/5): Horrible security, no AC,1.5 hrs. from airport - The area was really bad.It took me almost 1.5 hours to travel 7 kilos to the hotel from the airport but the worst part is the hotel security.There is a push button lock to my door that anyone can open with a knife and the outside door slide lock to the house which I locked was wide open during the night which I don't know how it was open unless someone inside heard the knocking to open it because once the padlock is put on it blocks anyone else from getting in.Smoking signs were put up but totally ignored.People need a key to the main door with the slide lock taken off otherwise there is no security.I also tried calling the office 5 times with no answer when I could not find the hotel when one last effort was made when someone answered the phone.Price was good but I hated not having a private bath which I thought I thought I had.
• Frank (2/5): Schrecklich, auf keinen Fall, weiter Empfehlen!!! - Alles was in der Agoda Seite hinterlegt ist, Biergarten, Bilder von den Zimmern, Frühstück Buffet ist nicht mal 1% war. Das schlimmste war, ein aggressiver, „vollgefressener“ Holländer, der Inhaber dieser Einrichtung! Es ist auch ein Zeichen, das Agoda/HRS etc niemals sich die Gegebenheiten vor Ort angeschaut haben, sondern auf vertrtauenbasis, misst auf Ihre Webseite haben, hinzu kommt, die Bewertungen!

• Ryan (6/5): - The property was not advertise as it was, when we called them to asked their location we were told that our booking was not confirm? the room that we book as per them was the sharing room? we paid extra (Triple prize) just to get the room we want.. Wifi connection was great.
• Daniel (8/5): Good for the value - Great place to stay near the airport over night. Staff was nice and welcoming. Room was very small and simple. The walls seem hollowed because you can hear everything. Location was good, lots of restaurants and local stores close by.

Für Leute, die unter Einheimischen sein möchten und trotzdem die Bequemlichkeit eines Guesthouses haben wollen, bestens. Die Leute sind unheimlich nett und hilfsbereits und die "Küche" muss noch extra gelobt werden.

• Michael (8/5): Basic, but good - For the extremely low rate I didn't expect much, but actually had a nice stay. Antoine was very accommodating and helpful with booking airport transfers. All worked very well. The room was basic, but had a comfy bed and clean bathroom - all I needed for a stopover between flights!
• Tedz (10/5): I'll leave a positive review for this Hotel - About 15 to 25 minutes away from the airport. The Hotel staff were accommodating esp. the owner. We checked in first at the Christopher B&B for a shared bathroom then moved to Antoine Apartment with 1 room and a bathroom inside; and I got a discount from the owner. Thanks for that! The room was neat and clean. The surroundings were quite. And it's very comfortable to stay for traveling. But don't expect much for the breakfast. hehehe. BUT, there were a lot of restaurants and stores you can buy foods and things. Plus there's a nearby bank too...

• eve (4/5): Disappointing. - The place was far from my expectations. First of all, it is located away from significant places on that side of Manila, so much as it was very difficult to find using the GPS. Second, is that it was sort of shrouded by residential houses as well as schools, so the streets nearby are extremely loud and rowdy. Lastly, the staff of this facility were indifferent and unwelcoming. Probably, I was used to staying in hotels with friendlier crew or maybe they were not used to rendering customer service. I hope this review will be read by the staff of Christopher B & B, and would ultimately contribute as a means to rectify the variables which are unsatisfactory to their guests.

• Eric (6/5): You get what you pay for - The neighborhood was a little sketchy at night. The building is not properly labeled with correct name. Some confusion about check in. Not the cleanest place but not terrible. Tiny room, tiny bathroom, but we only stayed overnight, I could not see staying any longer. The price was low which made it acceptable. No complaints overall.

• bruce (2/5): Absolute dump. Left after an hour to find a decent - This place is back in a dark alley and nothing like it says. We left as soon as we got there but they refused to refund our money. On top of that they charged twice.

• Graeme (8/5): Relaxing Stopover. - I highly recommend arranging transfers to and from the airport with Connexxions, Bertus is a very efficient operator who knows the location very well. I was completely happy with my experience at Christopher B&B especially considering the cheap rate, if you expect 5 star facilities pay 10x the price and book somewhere else.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Hard to find but good hospitality - Initially this hotel is hard to find but location is not far from the airport. Had to pay extra for aircon but would recommend doing so. Hospitality is great and the free breakfast is tasty. The shower is cold but we found it refreshing in the heat.

• Samantha (2/5): My first negative hotel review, terrible service - We had a really bad experience here and would not recommend it to others. Stay somewhere else! In short...we paid for a queen aircon room through hotels.com but upon arrival we were shown to a room with two twin beds and an aircon machine but told we had to pay extra to activate it. We showed the guy at the front desk our reservation confirmation with our room details and after looking at my phone screen and investigating multiple emails for at least 5 minutes he essentially implied that we had somehow made up that email (?). He showed us to his office and showed us what he had written down under my name for our reservation, fan and two twin beds. That's great, but when a guest has a confirmation email showing exactly what they paid for you should respect that. He was also very condescending and laughed at us when we told him we wanted our reservation details honoured. He laughed and said "I'm not giving you anything you didn't pay for." We arrived late and had an exhausting travel day so we understood moving us to a queen might not be possible at 2am but he could have at least activated our aircon. Definitely the worst customer service I've had during my entire trip through south east Asia.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice, cheap place - Clean and cheap. The breakfast is not good. Also they were unable to help me to phone a taxi when I had to go to the airport. They told me I have to walk to the main road and get a taxi there. Also, make sure you have the address on google maps. The taxi driver didn't know the place and use the yellow metered taxis. It cost me 160php. The other white taxis at the airport wanted to charge me 1000php
• Austin (10/5): Nice Place - We had a short stay between flights. First of all finding the place is a bit tricky. You have to get a taxi. Dont pay more than 200php. Show the driver the address, they wont know it but they will get you close. On the way you should get to a McDonald's. Get out here and walk straight, keeping McDonald's behind you on the left. You'll be a short walk away. The hotel has great service and a lovely restaurant. The best thing about the place is the lady who checks you in, takes your food order and serves you.

• john (2/5): No room and where's my refund! - I was booked through this hotel while I'm waiting for my flight from Davao to Manila. When I got to Manila, tried to find the place until 3 am just to inform me that there's no room for me!!!! What happened to my booking? Where's my refund? They told me to cancel the booking and I sent a message to Expedia which I don't know if it went through! But the worst experience I had after a long time! I need my refund and I won't recommend that place to anybody!
