The only con is the elevator is super slow lol but at least they have one! Family mart underneath is super helpful. Would stay again and it's super close to the takachiho gorge!

- Samaara (8/5): Just OK. Would stay closer to the City Center - The hotel is an 11-minute walk from the main bus station/tourist center. Due to bus schedules, I needed to leave a day early. The hotel did not budge in terms of giving me a refund for the extra day. For that reason, I will not stay there again. I also learned there are other hotels much closer to the city center, which would have been more convenient. The staff were friendly in terms of making calls and helping with the bus. There is a very well-stocked Family Mart on the bottom level of the building, which was convenient. Otherwise, you will need to walk a distance to get food!

- HIROKO (8/5): コンビニあり、便利！ - 一階にファミマがあり便利。 駐車場もとても広いです。 受付にたくさんのお酒を扱っていてゆっくり選んで購入できました。 朝食が大人1000円小人700円とホテルにしてはお安くいただけます。 メニューも焼きそばやミートボール、玉子料理など子供用もあり。 子供がマンゴージュースを取る際に受け皿を割ってしまい、２名の方がキッチンより来てくださり迅速に片付けと、子供の手を洗ってくれました。ニコニコしたがら対応してくださり、お世話になりありがとうございました。

- Takao (10/5): - 高千穂観光で利用しました 宮崎県高千穂の観光でホテルグレイトフル高千穂に泊まりました。全体的に快適で使いやすいホテルです。 特に便利だったのが、1階にコンビニがある点。飲み物や軽食がすぐ手に入るので助かりました。また、駐車場が広く、車で訪れる人にはとても使いやすいです。入口には喫煙室もあり、喫煙者への配慮もされています。 部屋は広めで清潔感があり、リラックスできました。1人でも2人でも快適に過ごせそうです。朝食はバイキング形式で種類が多く、どれを選ぶか迷うくらい充実していました。 唯一気になったのは、料金がやや高めな点。ただ、立地や設備、サービスを考えると妥当かもしれません。観光でもビジネスでも使いやすいホテルだと思います。

- ?? (4/5): - 前もってチェックインした後にチェックアウトの時間を延長したが、翌朝電話があり、まだお部屋出られないですか？と。何のために延長したのか、、、その電話で起こされ、そうでしたかと簡単にスルーされた。せっかく楽しい滞在だったが、翌朝のこの件で全てが嫌になり、どこにも寄らずに帰路に着いた。残念でなりません。

Walking distance to Amaterasu train attraction. Cons: A bit further away from Takachiho Gorge, about 5min drive. No view from hotel. Laundry was a bit expensive, had to buy detergent from the front desk separately from the laundry machine fee.
- Kaye (8/5): - Sunday night saw a lack of dining establishments. However there is a Lawsons convenience store below the hotel. An older style hotel but clean and quiet and close to the gorge entrance with beautiful gardens surrounding. Staff were very nice and breakfast was great.

- Soo chang (8/5): 가성비가 좋은 호텔 - 가격 대비 모두 좋았습니다. 협곡에서는 거리가 좀 있었지만 렌트를 했기에 문제가 되지 않았습니다. 아침도 세미부페로 괜찮았구. 단 금연룸이었지만 흡연룸에서 피는 담배가 냄새가 복도에도 냄새가 ㅠㅠ 금연층, 흡연층, 혼합층... 이렇게 하면 더 좋을텐데....

- MASAHIRO (8/5): 温泉が欲しかった。 - ホテルは高台に有り地下にコンビニが併設され 便利だった。冷蔵庫にサービスのミネラルウォーター有り。温泉がついてるかと思ったが、 広めのビジネスホテル並みのユニットバスのみ、 かなり離れた所の温泉を探して行きました。 全体的には新しめで過ごしやすかった。

The only complaint is the tea / coffee cups in the room are ridiculously small. Overall, a bit pricier than a business hotel but I would definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - 2連泊しました。 新しく、スタッフも丁寧で、一生懸命で、 とても快適でした。 町の中心の高千穂バスセンターからは徒歩で15分くらいで、離れてますが、 武道館の近くです。 同じ建物に、24時間ファミマがあり、 道路渡ったところに、 肉屋がやっている、高千穂牛ランチが食べられる初栄があります。 高千穂で、24時間オープンしているコンビニは町の中心にないので、助かります。 夜神楽の鑑賞には、高千穂神宮まで、徒歩20分。タクシーも呼んでくれます。
