As you drive through the wonderful chaos and maze of Napoli, suddenly you arrive at Atelier Inès B&B – and it feels as though you have stepped into a secret garden. The house is filled with beautiful art, the rooms are spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. The staff could not be warmer or more attentive, and the breakfast in the back courtyard was simply delicious. You would never imagine you are right in the heart of Napoli – it’s a tranquil oasis, the perfect retreat after a day of exploring this vibrant city. A hidden treasure I would return to again.

Located in the bustling Sanita district, Atelier Inès B&B is a quiet haven to come back to after a day of roaming the city. (Don't be fooled by the hectic streets as you pull up, as the B&B is nestled behind a gate and is very quiet and restful.) And the location cannot be beat: There are great restaurant options and sightseeing within walking distance, and plenty of transportation options. Inès and her team were wonderful hosts, helping us with recommendations and arrival/departure timing. The breakfast is also spectacular both in substance and setting. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

- Amy (10/5): - I love this gem in the middle of a very real Neapolitan neighborhood. It is 10 minutes walk to the archaeological museum and 10 minutes walk to the historical center of town. It is two minutes to an epic coffee and pastry shop and mindblowing pizza. Atelier Ines is quiet, beautiful, peaceful, artful and serene. It is set back behind two gates from a very busy Naples neighborhood with all the life that brings. If you haven’t been to Naples before and are not accustomed to travel in Italy south of Rome, there are some very ordinary hotels on the waterfront past the castles. If you are ready to embrace Naples and everything that makes it special, this is the place for you. The art of Ines is everywhere and stunning. Enjoy.

The service, the cleanliness, the room and not least the charming hostess Ines. We will definitely come back when we travel to Naples again.

- redroverma (8/5): Lovely surprise even though it was hard to find. - High ceilings, comfortable king size bed, strong shower and funky but functional décor located just off a busy street. I thought it was going to be a noisy night, but things really got quiet after 11 pm. Typical European breakfast of fruits, cheeses, meats, pastries and scrambled eggs, but you choose from a menu and the friendly staff serve you. This was the most difficult to find of the places we stayed at and our last stop on this trip. It’s very difficult using Google maps or anything really when the streets are so poorly marked or when the maps route you down a one-way street going the wrong way. Parking is nearby if you can find it at 25 euros/day. The only other annoyance is that you have to use several keys to get through the gauntlet of gates and doors to get to your room.

- lolital694 (4/5): Mixed feelings about Atelier Ines B&B - Let's start with the positive - Ines is a Wonderful person. Pleasant, pretty, very passionate about her place. The breakfast is the highlight of the stay. So much food, fresh fruit, pastries, fresh eggs. I like Ines so much I gave an open invitation to stay with me if ever in the US - love her! The B&B not so much. The room my husband and I stayed in is Not pictured on website-understandably. It was unattractive. The shower "overflows" literally onto the bathroom floor every use. When brought into the room and shown bath the lights over mirror do not work; it was said this was a new problem, but no one ever came to fix. Every morning/evening with not lights over mirror. The tile in the shower appear to have been homemade and painted and the paint was running down onto the next tile and shower floor. It takes No Less than 10 minutes for the water to turn warm. The mattress was similar to a basic crib mattress and pillow. Only a sheet covering the bed. The extra blanket in the cabinet is an inexpensive velour cover from a walmart or dollar general or similar store. There is no radio/tv/phone or even a usb port. I did make this suggestion to Ines - hopefully she will add. The art studio used by her spouse is unkept and dusty, items tossed about. I asked for an early morning wake-up call 6:30am (though no phone in the room, you would have to call me on my cellphone); I was told it would require her to get up early and she really didn't want to. For $640 for two (02) nights, I should be able to get a hot shower and make a local call. I felt bad because Ines is so very nice. She mentioned that Robert DiNero had come to stay there but only stayed half the day and left. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was because there are no amenities or comforts to encourage someone to stay. No background music even in the courtyard, which is not manicured. No flowers or even art in the courtyard to look at. No reason to sit out there or in your room, both the same - empty. Possibly the other room are better appointed and for some reason I was given the room not shown on the website and not working. I provide this review regretfully because I really like the owner. You couldn't find a nicer person - just maybe needs a little direction in the B&B area. Great breakfast.

- swb1967 (10/5): A Stunning Secret In Naples - We booked 5 nights at Atelier Ines and from the moment I booked Ines was just so lovely to deal with.... incredibly helpful in the planning and organization of our trip..nothing was too much trouble and her insightful care and help with restaurant planning and bookings was invaluable. Ines organized out airport pick up in the evening and everything was faultless and our driver so friendly and charming. Do not hesitate to arrange the pick-up service as its so helpful on arrival. Ines's lovely husband met us even though we arrived at the hotel later in the evening and was so charming and suggested several local venues for us to have a late dinner and some drinks - every recommendation they made was outstanding. We actually tried two room types during our stay and our rooms were sensational.... perfect attention to detail and the touches with the art and sculpture are lovely. Everything in our room was perfect for our stay... great wifi, great air-conditioning and amenities.... espresso machine, fridge, slippers and toiletries...but the real amenity is the art!!!!! The neighborhood is 'real' and true Naples and we loved it .... local bars, patisseries and late night haunts for a Campari Spritz, wine and negroini.... We found a local bar called 'Scio' and dont miss it.... they really looked after us every evening and it was our late night stop for a nightcap.... We spent 5 days walking the city and Atelier Ines is perfectly located to explore and wander around the city... Breakfast was so utterly lovely sitting in the courtyard and enjoying the atmosphere... as someone who worked in hospitality I cannot tell you how impressive it is that Ines immerses herself into her guests every day.... she offers advice, guidance and secrets of the inner world of Naples.... she helped us with every need and nothing was too much trouble. We will never stay anywhere else in Naples and I cannot recommend Atelier Ines enough... its bliss so dont hesitate to book and enjoy what truly is elegant but simple and caring hospitality ... beats the 'hotels' in Naples hands down... Thank you Ines & family - we cant wait to come back
- AJCG (10/5): Lovely place. - Confortable and homely. Lovely room with outdoor private terrace and garden/terrace out front for relaxing/breakfast etc. On breakfast - lovely. Lots of variety/choice. Excellent bathroom. Good aircon. Minibar stocker with free water/drinks. A little out of the centre on the edge of a very grubby/run down but local area. Not for everyone! However, we thought it was lovely. (3 night stay). The owner Inez and her husband Vicenzo were delightful.

Short stroll to Spaccianapoli and great pizza places, but feels authentic and local. Special mention to Simone who came to collect us from the airport and was so lovely!

We had an extremely stylish room filled with all of her and her husband’s artistic creations. Ines and Manu (and Vincenzo!) were fantastic hosts, incredibly willing to help with suggestions, reservations etc. Plus the breakfast was excellent! I would highly recommend staying with Ines!
- Laureb11111 (10/5): A unique, comfortable, home-like stay! - Atelier Ines is a perfect, calm oasis in the middle of Napoli! Ines and Staff are the absolute best and completely made our trip to Naples! Aside from booking this hotel, the best decision we made was letting Ines recommend dinner places. She made the reservations for us, and when we went we were treated so well and the food was fantastic. The B&B was amazing (and I say B&B because this really is an intimate experience- you will talk to Ines and Staff, and they will treat you like a houseguest/friend not just a customer!). The rooms were comfortable, unique, and included furniture made by the owners! Speaking of which, DO THE WORKSHOP!!! It was a highlight of our entire trip, and getting to connect with art on vacation was really something special that you won't find anywhere else. Vincenzo and Ines walked us through the process of lost-wax casting which was so cool. The breakfast was great and fresh, the staff was so helpful and kind. This place is a must stay in Naples!
- GarethP_Cymru (10/5): A unique establishment with great service in a vibrant area. - The B and B is in a beautiful old palazzo building, a stone's throw from the main street. The courtyard and rooms are charming, and are decorated with objet d'art made in a workshop adjacent to the premises. Many reviews here mention the breakfast and if you stay here you will see why - it's presented with care, and the hosts take advantage of the delicious local produce in the area such as fruits, pastries and cakes -it's a far cry from the soulless, corporate offerings you often get elsewhere. I loved the area - I suspect most people who stay here will be looking to stay in a vibrant, bohemian area rather than something too central (that being said, it is only a 15 minute walk to the historical centre...) Rione Sanita is a fantastic area to get to know - art galleries, street art, catacombs, a daily street market, great people and I challenge you to walk up to the main piazza at 5pm and dodge the scooters, an exhilarating experience! Ines recommended great restaurants nearby, I particularly loved Mammami across the road, and I will never forget the yellow tomato and smoked mozzarella pizza i had in Pizzeria Concettina ai Tre Santi two minutes walk away. The thing for me that makes somewhere become more than the sum of its parts is the service - the hosts here are helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. They take pride in giving suggestions about the local area and their B and B, of which they are rightfully very proud. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
- Amorsirenas (10/5): Charming, Lovely Find, Beautiful Owers - Atelier Ines was a rare find, hidden away in an authentic neighborhood you’ll find an amazing family owned Palacio that has been transformed into a well designed hip little designer boutique hotel. Ines and Vincenzo the owners and artists will greet you with the charm and graciousness that all hoteliers should aspire too. As soon as you walk through the gates through the gardens and various terraces you’ll know you’ve arrived somewhere very special. The home has been in Vincenzo’s family for over a century where his father, the famous Italian sculptor created pieces that adorn the property. Vincenzo continues in his vain, in his own right a well known accomplished jewelry and furniture designer. If you are fortunate as we were he will share with you his amazing studio where you can see his process, the pieces he is working on, and experience the life of a devoted artist. The hotel itself is full of his pieces, with each room designed byVincenzo and Ines. It’s really a remarkable property, and an excellent rare find. Why stay here? Great Location, Authentic, Quiet, Lovely, Very Clean. Excellent Service, and Concierge assistance from Owners and Staff Rare find for the discerning traveler, full of art.

A rich immersion into the napoletan culture, with a wonderful hospitable staff. Strongly recommended to anyone visiting Naples! The location is in rione sanità, which despite the reputation, is quite a beautiful zone with a lot of charm. The rooms and hotel are decorated with unique artwork which maintains the legacy of Annibale Oste, and carries on his work with pride. They are very knowledgeable and helpful about local attractions, restaurants, and the service is excellent.
- AnneGr2017 (10/5): Calm and beauty in the middle of wonderfully busy Napoli! - I had the good fortune to book two rooms at Atelier Ines this October for three nights. My friend and I were astonished at the life and bustle in the spot the taxi driver dropped us. When we turned into Atelier Inès all the bustle died away as we entered a quiet courtyard. Inès and Vincenzo welcomed us and explained that all the beautiful furniture, from door knobs to tables had been made by them with artwork by Vincenzo’s father on display everywhere. The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms huge. Everything was spotlessly clean and was kept that way. Inès explained the locality and that yes it was busy but the people were good. I can say I really feel I stayed in Naples by staying there. The people were lovely and you got used to all the activity. Don’t worry about noise. After nine the place dies down and sleeping is easy. The breakfasts were wonderful with Solomon the young man that works there preparing it with a smile. He also had great suggestions for how to get around. We had a tiring but fantastic time in Napoli especially because we stayed at Atelier Ines.

- NonameNever (10/5): the very best - It is very hard to restrain the superlatives in describing this B&B. If it had only the extraordinarily appointed rooms; the wonderful hosts; or the perfect location. Just one of these would make this place stand at the top. But it has all. I have stayed in so many places in Italy I have loved, especially in the south. But nothing will equal this. The rooms are furnished with fittings, artwork and furniture of a famous sculptor, designer, furniture maker; the father of one of the hosts. Yet the rooms are comfortable and welcoming. The owners are gracious, warm, welcoming, very bright, and exceptionally knowledgeable. It is spotless. The breakfast is very good and customizable. The adjacent square is my favorite place in Naples to hang out, to see and feel the thrum of this vibrant city with its great street life and food. It is walking distance to all the most vital and interesting neighborhoods, churches, and museums. I stayed here 3 weeks and I have tears on leaving. 5 stars is not nearly enough.
- AngelaW2249 (4/5): Pretty hotel but rampant mosquitos and unfriendly service - On the up side: the location was great, close to the museums, subway stations, and local market and bars. The furniture and decor were unique and artsy as promised. On the downside: the mosquitos were more rampant than anywhere else we've been to in southern Italy. If you are prone to mosquitos bites, think twice before you book here for summer season (we stayed in late September and I got 5 mosquito bites in 5 minutes standing in the lobby each day). The service was also less than desirable: first, the staff offered little help on the mosquito issue. We had to look for shops that sells mosquito sprays ourselves. Second, they charge you for using the coffee machine in the hotel room. We got a surprise bill for using the in-room coffee machine, hours after checkout when we came back to pick up our luggage - I've never experienced this at any other hotel, having traveled to 30+ countries in the world. Thirdly, because there's no 24h reception, the owner wants to know our exact check-in time way in advance (hard for us to predict on a self-driving roadtrip). I had to give the owner real-time updates through whatsapp on where we were before checkin to satisfy his/her constant questions, which included harsh questions such as "I don't understand why it will take you 20 minutes to go from point A to point B".

Each morning, a delicious breakfast awaited us. With a location that was close to major transportation, yet removed from a large avenue, it was the perfect balance of convenience and quietness. Our stay was lovely, and we would highly recommend Atelier Ines.

Manu welcomed us, helped us with info and served breakfast comprised of cereal, yoghurt, fruit and assortment of bread and pastries (eggs if you want also). We got the Pulcinella room with beds for 3 (we travelled with our 11 year old) and a lovely, quiet terrace for us to relax after lots of walking and sightseeing.

Ines parle le Français parfaitement bien, ce qui est précieux dans une ville où l’on parle peu les langues étrangères et même l’Anglais. Bref, nous avons passé un superbe séjour à Naples et ses environs, en grande partie grâce à la gentillesse et la disponibilité d’Ines et de Vincenzo. Grazie mille per tutti !

There are something like 5 locked gates between the street & the room, which is reassuring while simultaneously alarming. The decor is from the 1970s (very, very outdated) but the plumbing was modern and the room was very clean. The breakfast was the best we had at a B&B during our 2 weeks in Italy. The staff person (I didn’t get his name) was by far the best part of our overnight experience at the property. He was so helpful and always smiling. He was great!
- Sightsee567677 (10/5): Superior property and hosts - This family owned business was joy to stay after 14 hours of travel, lost luggage, lost sunglasses, terrible rental car experience then lost in city, it was like coming home to be with family they took great care of me parked my car in their private gated parking, they got me dinner and wine, showed me where to explore suggested places for dinner all with-in walking distance of hotel. The entire hotel\B&B was one beautiful work of art every door handle, piece of furniture (usable), light, vase and statue is art work designed and created by the owners their studio in on the premises. The family very welcoming and kind, went above and beyond, and so accommodating, would highly recommend and i stayed a second time on my way home.

- stephen (10/5): Quiet, beautiful haven - We stayed 4 days here and loved it. It is within easy walking distance to the historical center of Naples, the Naples National Archeological Museum and to a subway stop that is just one stop away from Garibaldi Station, where you can take a train to Pompeii and Ercolano. What makes this place stand out from all the other B&Bs is the artwork that surrounds you and the friendliness of the hosts, Ines and Vicenzo, who introduce you to the art of Vicenzo's father, Annebali Oste. They have transformed part of his former studio into a B&B and will share the history of the place and Vicenzo's own jewelry making studio if you ask. The B&B and its courtyard was a peaceful and beautiful haven in the middle of a very busy Naples.

The bathroom was well designed, the shower had good water pressure and was spacious. Fine details were not overlooked, from a kettle and supplies to make tea and coffee, to amenities for the bath. We were greeted by Vincenzo who made us feel welcome right away. We were given a brief orientation to Naples and guided toward places to visit during our short stay. Vincenzo suggested a good cafe on a lovely piazza near the port and the best place to get pizza (only a minute walk away from the B&B). Ines was quick to respond to emails and texts and very kind before and during our stay. She made sure we had a taxi for our return to the airport and even provided an early breakfast on the day of our departure! When we return to Naples we will definitely return to this special oasis in the heart of Naples.

- John (10/5): Outstanding in so many ways - After much research, I'm really glad I booked a room at the Atelier Inès B&B Home Gallery. It is as graceful and sophisticated as the photos and reviews suggest. Naples is lively, gritty, sometimes challenging and often fascinating - like no other city I have ever visited. Since it is far from a sanitised tourist trap, I can understand why it polarises so many visitors. I found it wonderful and am looking forward to visiting again in the not too distant future. Atelier Inès B&B Home Gallery is located just outside the historic centre of town, a mere few minutes walk from the outstanding National Archaeological Museum of Naples (one of several top notch museum and galleries in the city). The best way of getting around Naples is by foot and there is a lot to see and experience when walking in any direction. The special breakfast offered by your hosts Ines and Vincenzo and served by their assistant Manu was an excellent way to begin each day. Coming home in the evening to a beautifully decorated and very secure apartment was a real pleasure. There are a number of dining options nearby or you could walk about 10 minutes to the Plaza Bellini and begin your night with drinks in the liveliest part of town. I'm delighted to highly recommend Naples and Atelier Inès B&B Home Gallery. Well done to Ines, Vincenzo and Manu!

- Sandra (10/5): A peaceful spotless place in the middle of Naples - We read so many bad reviews about the noisy and dirty hotels in Naples before our trip... This place is run by an artist couple and their little girl, so that it is all decorated artistically. It is all you need to relax in a clean, safe, and confortable quite place. Breakfast was amazing! Fresh bread, pastries in a nice outside setting with plants and trees and lovely classic music in the background. We were also asked if we wanted sweets, or a for breakfast at our arrival. The place was spotless , cleaned daily and their owners and staff were friendly and nice, making sure there was not a detail left out. It is near a crazy fruit, vegetable market, but it makes the experience more of a typical one in Napoli. The Atelier Ines is a very secluded and safe from the market area so that one feels very safe and confortable, once you are at the place.I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

- Lara (10/5): Unique location and artistic setting - My friend and I only stayed a night at Atelier Ines and I wish I could have stayed longer! The property is tucked away in what looks like a parking lot, but in fact is a beautiful historic building (former theater) with fenced-in grounds where the owners create their art and guests can relax at the tables on the patio. Ines was a welcoming host and took time to go over a map of the area with us, make reservations, and prepare us a hearty breakfast. She is multilingual and spoke Italian, English, and French. The room itself was very comfortable, filled with original art and whimsical hardware and details sculpted by the owners. Our bathroom was spacious and featured some nice toiletry products. There was also a common dining area where breakfast is served in the mornings. The location was about a 10-minute walk to the Duomo and historic center and is right next to a lively plaza market. There were plenty of cafe and restaurant options nearby. This is a great option for someone seeking a unique B&B experience that's a little off the beaten path but sitll convenient to major sites.
- Martin (10/5): Unusal in a good way - Had a lovely welcome from the owner (Innes) and then it just got better. A small B n B, only three bedrooms but each room is spotlessly clean and finished to a unique and very very high standard. Everywhere you look there's something interesting to look at, its like you have walked into a art gallery. You enter the premises via two iron gates into an interesting courtyard - it felt very safe and secure. Immediately outside the gates is a lively street market. A ten minute walk and you are in the old central tourist area with shop, restaurants and a church round every corner. Only stayed one night, regretted not staying longer
- Gregory (10/5): - Our stay in Naples was for only one night during our 17 day trip but it was exceptional. Ines met us on the street and hopped in and guided us into the small courtyard where we were able to park. She provided us with a map highlighting the area with ideas on sights to see, and gave us excellent recommendations for a great local pizza place for a quick late lunch and a restaurant on the water for a romantic seafood dinner. The small hotel was quite interestingly styled, adorned with many pieces of artwork made by Ines's husband Vincenzo's late father, who was a well known Italian artist. The room was very nicely appointed and breakfast the next morning seated outside was excellent. For those worried about security in Naples it took five keys to get to our room so it would be hard to feel more safe. After checking out the next morning Ines gave us spare keys and arranged for someone be there later so we could go to the fabulous Naples Archaeological Museum and come back and pick up our car late afternoon. All in all a wonderful experience.

The service was by far the best; communicative, kind, friendly, great local food recommendations (Lombardi's had the best pizza we tried in Naples), outstanding breakfast in beautiful courtyard... The bathroom alone was amazing, as spacious as it was. The artwork decoration, the owners made, was impressive and lovely.
- Janae (10/5): Look No More...Book Atelier Inès B&B Now! - I have nothing but great words for Atelier Inès B&B Home Gallery. Inès was wonderful! She reached out to us a few days before our arrival to determine our arrival time and make the necessary arrangements to greet us. When we arrived early (because we missed our turn coming from Sorrento & couldn't find our way back to where we were trying to go), she was flexible & had her husband meet us. We were also treated to meeting her toddler daughter & her family is great! I was most pleased with Inès' desire to go above and beyond. Our flight left early the next morning & we were checking out of the B&B @ 4 am. While we booked a B&B, we had no intentions on taking advantage of the breakfast aspect as we felt it would be unreasonable to ask anyone to have anything ready so early in the morning. Inès came the night before & prepared a breakfast for us & laid it out so that we could take it with us. Her service was amazing. Other highlights are the decor and great location of the B&B. All of the furniture is made by Inès & her husband & their decorative style is pretty awesome. The room was comfortable & the terrace is nice and quaint. The B&B is in a bustling neighborhood in Naples that is close to the metro & bus lines. We felt very safe and had a phenomenal time during our short stay there.

- Robert (10/5): A tranquil and delightful oasis in Naples - Inès and her husband are wonderful people and they have made their property in a quiet courtyard a terrific place to stay- they are both artists and have done the tasteful decoration of the place with their own works. The location couldn't be better! The place is a ten minute walk from the National Archeological Museum, not much more to the Centro Storico, and one minute from some of the best pizza in Napoli (which is saying something!) and it is possible to walk everywhere from the B&B. One should walk everywhere, by the way. It was great to have a secure parking spot, and driving around Naples is not for the faint of heart. Rent a small car! We had a little trouble finding the place since gps databases don't seem to get the one-ways in the neighborhood, but Inès hopped in our car when we left and guided us to a good route to the autostrada.
