- Tracy (10/5): Beautiful hotel and location. - The hotel was lovely, it could not be in a more beautiful location! My daughter loved all the aspects of the farm, feeding the animals and the playground. I loved the fire stove in our room to keep us warm. I relaxed by the big fire in the dining room and it was so relaxing. Dinner was delicious and the staff super accommodating. There was nothing we did not like, the hotel was a little off the beaten path, not super easy to get to and a little further from the park than we anticipated, but we loved our stay and would stay there again.

Sebadtian and Victor are wonderful cooks and do whatever you need to feel comfortable. Since it is a working dairy farm feeding the baby cows was fun. The water in the shower is extremely hot and difficult to regulate

- Marianne (10/5): Warm welcome, would love to stay longer next time - The property is tucked in, which is the great part as far as views and the stay, but it was tricky to navigate at night. It’s a dirt road part of the way and cobblestone another. However, the staff was like family. They were so generous in allowing us to have an extra late checkout as a result of a disaster rental car experience (no fault of the Hacienda). The food was so fresh and delicious, and our children loved all the farm animals and horseback riding. The views are incredible, and it’s so peaceful. I absolutely would recommend staying here. As mentioned, the drive was a little tricky at night but even our sedan made it just fine.

All of the staff were so lovely, the views were breathtaking & the food was incredible (although the prices are slightly higher than we’ve found elsewhere in Ecuador it was so worth it for the quality & taste & big portions). Such an amazing night in the countryside with lots of things to do, thank you! We loved everything!

Jonny took my kids each day to feed the baby cows. It was a highlight. The breakfasts were incredible with fresh fruit, cheese from their dairy, fresh juice, eggs and homemade bread. Yum!!We stayed in the chalet and our family loved the A frame house. All 5 of us would highly recommend Hacienda el Rejo. Nothing

Mit Kindern ist es großartig zwischen den ganzen Tieren, mit tollem Ausblick und großartigem Essen., insbesondere wenn man Fleisch mag. Toller Ausgangsort für Ausflüge rund um den Cotopaxi oder einfach einen Ausritt um die Hacienda. Und Sebastian ist ein toller Gastgeber, der sich um alles kümmert und tolle Tipps gibt.

My wife and I agreed this may have been the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. We rented the cottage (should be called the lodge, it’s huge!) for ourselves and our children - who also loved everything - and we all agreed it was our favorite rental ever. Sebastián and his crew went above and beyond for us each day. The food was great, the ambience was great, riding horses was amazing. I could go on and on. If your on the fence, just book it and thank me later. The photos on their website don’t do justice to the reality of this place.

- Juan (8/5): Quaint hotel, amazing breakfast - Quaint hotel, the ambiance was very well thought out and the views from the restaurant are amazing (on a clear day, obviously). Sebastian was super friendly and very informative, a great host. Rooms are big and beds comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING, best we had in a month in Ecuador. On the other hand, dinner was good but not great considering it was also one of the most expensive ones we had. Again, food IS good, just not outstanding.

- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - An incredible place to stay on a working dairy farm. If you're looking for resort-style luxury, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a place that instantly feels like home in the best ways with staff that go out of their way to make you feel special (mil gracias, Julio), this is your place. Sit by the open fireplace and play cards with a glass of whiskey. Go outside and watch cows being milked or hang out with Kevin, the resident peacock. When the clouds part, enjoy the beautiful view of a bunch of volcanoes... we could see Cotopaxi from our bed! And this is the best breakfast we had in Ecuador, hands down. Dairy products made on-site, delicious baked goods, eggs, good coffee, fruit... more than we could possibly eat, but we wanted to eat it all! Nothing

- Janice (10/5): A magical memorable experience that exceeded expectations! - The food was the best we had on our vacation. The staff were extra kind and accommodating. Horseback riding, jacuzzi, billiards, darts, fireplace were all fun and relaxing. Sightseeing in the middle of 5 volcanoes (including mildly active Cotopaxi) between 6am and 8am was the absolute most awe-inspiring landscape view I have ever seen. Nobody saw the peak & plume for 3 weeks before we got there. Don't miss this destination on your itinerary! Saw & smelled more dung than I have since growing up in small town Ontario. Make sure to clean your boots afterwards. Small price to pay for an epic stay!
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - This property has amazing views, great staff that are always willing to go above and beyond. All the food was delicious, great portions and options. They have a farm where they made fresh cheese that we had for breakfast. We were not able to do any of the activities they offered, due to time restrictions on our part but they are available and I can only imagine that they would be great based on the rest of our experience there. Cozy up the amazing chimney fire they put on at night and ended with a Hot shower which is just what we needed after a long travel day. Would recommend everyone to stay here and would come back to enjoy the facility more.

- Craig (10/5): Truly a wonderful experience, especially Julio’s breakfasts. - The grounds were incredibly beautiful and well kept. The room was very clean. The bathroom spotless and the hot water was super hot. The dining room was spacious and the view from the dining area was picturesque. Simply put we loved everything about the property. Did we mention the food? It was wonderful. Julio the chef and Sabastian offered spectacular service. The only thing we would like to mention would be to perhaps put up a sign or two to clearly mark how to get to the property from the main road. We had GPS but could be a problem for those who don’t.

- Limor (9/5): Superb - We rented a family room, which we stayed only for one night. The room was for all of us (5) and it was spacious enough. The bath room was very big. The main thing about this place is the beautiful ranch it located in and the amazing dining room you can spend your evening at. The ranch makes it own cheese and other dairy products and you get to enjoy it at breakfast. Dinner is also available.
