Guest Reviews
- Lisa (10/5): - For the price, you can’t beat it. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, free parking, and a shuttle service to the terminals. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Some reviews mentioned a sewage smell in the bathroom. I actually think that the odor is from the cleaning product they use. We kept the window open though so it didn’t bother us and the odor dissipated after an hour or so. The hotel is also a five minute walk to a full service Ibis hotel where we went for lunch. We would definitely stay there again.
- viviane (4/5): - Very tiny room
- Samantha (10/5): - Very clean
Friendly staff
Close to airport-walkable or they have a shuttle bus
- SAFIYH (6/5): - Good breakfast for the price and convenient shuttle to the airport at early hours in the morning. Convenient place to stay for the night before your travel if you have an early flight in the morning. Staffs are very friendly.
- Grace (8/5): - This was the perfect place to stay before our flight. It was clean and had everything we needed for one night. The shuttle to the airport was a great help
- Petr (8/5): - Good enough for overnight stay.
- Celia (6/5): - This is a great budget hotel just 10 minutes walk from the airport. There is a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel which you need to call the hotel upon arrival. They also do have check-in after midnight if your flight gets in later. Excellent breakfast for a budget hotel. The room was small. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
- Fiona (8/5): - I arrived late and left early with an easy check in/out. Hallways were a bit grubby and the room was small. Was OK for a place to eat for 12 hours.
- Mike (2/5): - 1. First room: Infested with ants and had a strong unpleasant odor, making it unhygienic and uninhabitable.
2. Second room: AC was not working during a heatwave, causing me to wake up soaked from the heat. The sheets were dirty, further making the room unacceptable.
I reported these issues to the hotel staff, but they did not offer any compensation or resolution. This stay was clearly below the expected standard of accommodation.
- Jessica (10/5): - The hotel was a super close walk to the airport, which was the reason I chose it. The reception was friendly and the room a good size, specially considering it was a budget hotel. I had a very early flight and the complimentary airport shuttle was at 430am; i didn't make time to grab breakfast as I didn't think there would be anything at that hour. But there was a full, well laid out selection, I was very impressed!
- Elinore (10/5): - Cheap but clean quiet and easy option lovely staff
- Greg (6/5): - This is definitely a budget hotel. For a good price you get a safe and clean place to sleep. The rooms are very compact, they have air conditioning although we didn't find it very effective. The whole property is gated, while its not a dangerous area its also not particularly nice.
They sell half decent pizzas in the lobby that they cook from frozen, for quite a reasonable price.
- Christo (8/5): - Good location. Clean but very basic rooms. Gated parking but not well monitored, some loitering outside the gate. Low price to match the facility, just a great location for an overnight state right off the airport.
- Galit (8/5): Great solution for early flight - Great solution for early morning flights.
Breakfast was also surprisingly good plus.
The only problem there were many ants in the sink😳
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good budget option very close to the terminals. Only complaint is that there were quite a few ants in my room.
- john (2/5): - The air-conditioning didn't work. Unbearably hot. No one spoke english as advertised. Took 30 minutes to get hotel shuttle, could have walked faster. Ended up leaving and checking into another hotel.
- Daniel (8/5): - Good value for a location close to the airport. The staff was friendly and the manager on duty at the time was very helpful in letting us store our bicycles for a few days before our check-in, while we were on a short trip.
- Robert (10/5): The lady at reception ,she also my driver fabulous - My stay was wonderful basic hotel with a very professional kind staff
The lady who dropped from the airport and did my checking was fabulous thank you so much
- Marilyn (10/5): - We often stay at the airport ibis before or after a transatlantic flight. The rooms are basic but comfortable; when all you need is a place to sleep, the ibis is perfect: simple and clean. Good breakfast in the morning, too; I like the boiled egg option.
- Emelie (10/5): - The 24hr front desk is very convenient for late night flights or flight delays.
- Rabah (4/5): - The room had a smell of sewer and the bathroom is smaller than small
- Mark (8/5): - Basic but it all works. Nip across the road to the Hilton for air-conditioned bar or the other ibis for a great grill place
- Jennifer (8/5): - As a single female traveler I found this hotel to be very clean, safe and convenient for an overnight stay to catch a 6 am flight. It was very walkable to the airport. The 15 minute walk with my rolling luggage was on a paved well-marked path that included mainly airport parking lot walkway. The room was basic, but complete with all I needed. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
- Sylvia (6/5): - Good deal and confidently close to the airport. Nice and helpful staff. Free airport shuttle.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good, basic hotel. Had all we needed for a late night arrival, night staff very helpful and friendly. The next morning took the free shuttle to the airport train station driven by the same nice staff member.
- David (6/5): - Walkable from the airport after late flight. Very nice and welcoming man on reception and quick check in at 1 am.
Shocked by how small the room was but clean and reasonable shower. Very good breakfast for a budget hotel and very helpful and nice staff.
- renee (8/5): - What you expect from a budget hotel
- Dennis (10/5): - Bathroom smelled like sewer gas but beds were comfortable
- stuart (8/5): - Check in was simple and easy even after arriving slightly after midnight.
Easily walkable with a small amount of luggage from the airport. For the price i would recommend this hotel all day long.
- Robert (8/5): - Good stay
- Linda (8/5): - Enjoded breakfast
- Guillermo (2/5): - Noisy, small room
- Louise (6/5): - Budget hotel handy for airport
- Guillermo (4/5): - Rooms are like prison cells. You can hear wind noise all night.
- Claudia (8/5): - Conveniently close to airport. My flight was very late arriving due to various delays so I decided to stay at the airport instead of driving home for 2 hours in the dark and rain at 1:30am in the morning. Appreciated the easy check-in, courteous staff, ample parking and the reasonably priced breakfast. Rooms are clean. Didn't regret my last minute reservation.
- andrea (10/5): - It has it all for a between flyes stop. You can order food on site .they have small section for kids . For my surprise the shuttle works early, in our case 4 30 am for an early fly and even more the breakfast was available at 4 am .
- geert (2/5): unreliable staff - called reception to verify that my son had waken up/checked out at 6:30 am, was informed by staff that there were no phones in the rooms, then asked if my son had checked out, which was confirmed by staff..... my son was sleeping in his room and nearly missed his flight... unexusable for an airport hotel...... very sad......
- Saad Eddine (8/5): - Overall good option near the airport
- Simon (4/5): - For an overnight stay before a flight, this is the cheapest option available. I suppose you could do worse. But the property is dangerously inaccessible on foot, I would not recommend trying to walk there or walking anywhere but the airport when you leave. The suggested route from the train station even leads through genuine swampland, it's not pedestrian accessible.
The room was adequate, although with an unpleasant odor. Not every light worked and neighbors/passers-by in the hallway could be heard quite clearly. In the lobby there is an option for reheated pizza. Since few other restaurants or stores are accessible, that may be what you end up eating.
If it's just one night and you're flying out in the morning... sure. It's sufficient.
- Charles (4/5): Moisissure - Tres forte odeur de moisissure dans la chambre et la salle de bain avec des traces de moisissure au mur
- Andrew (8/5): - An affordable option for travelers that have a night layover at the Marseille airport. Don't waste your time and money having to take transportation to Marseille that is a far from the airport and spend more money for a hotel over there. Just simply walk about ten minutes to this hotel. There's a gas station on the way there if you need to buy water/food.
- Jobana (10/5): - Clean, courteous staff, and good breakfast options.
- Phil (6/5): - Staff had very poor English that made it very difficult to understand the shuttle system to/from airport and where to seek restaurants nearby, etc.
Shower was nice & large. Beds were adequate. Room space was very small for storing lg. luggage.
- Stéphane (6/5): - Short walk to the airport.
- Darryl (6/5): - The Ibis budget at the Marseille airport was good as an overnighter when you have to catch an early flight. We were unable to get the shuttle from the airport as they didn't answer when we called for it. We had tp walk through the parking lot and up the road. The shuttle back to the airport the next morning was great. The rooms are tiny. Our bathroom didn't smell good, sewer type smell.
- jean (2/5): - It’s a dump
- Michelle (8/5): - Tiny rooms very limited dining options
But very convenient location next to the airport, free shuttle service to and from
- Dror (10/5): - Super convenient airport hotel
- thirese (8/5): All is good - All is good
- Bev (8/5): - Good choice if you flying early from airport
No frills accomodation
- derek (10/5): - Budget hotel, great price, but basic. However, sister hotel is next door, with all you could need. Walking distance to terminals.
- Daniel (6/5): - Small room and very small bathroom
- TINA (10/5): - Great hotel for a stop over. Thank you!
- Jill (4/5): - Ants all over the place. Very limited breakfast.
- Cathy (10/5): - While the hotel was a perfect, close to the airport stay, I would have say the staff was the best part. Osama gave us great travel advise that saved us time, money, and likely frustration. Good people!
- Joy (8/5): - Great shuttle service from hotel to airport.
Clean rooms, rather small but fine for a night's stay.
The staff could be more cheerful and welcoming.
- Sharon (8/5): - Basic, clean accommodation for an overnight stay after arriving on a very late flight. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay near airport - Excellent room near airport with all you need after a late flight , confortable bed ! And free mini bus from and to the airport
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just ok for a night - Just does it's job , but it's very very basic for the price you pay. The desk that was in the room was full of cobwebs and it hadn't been dusted in ages. Bathroom quite old but at least it was clean. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything from other rooms and corridor.
Staff was friendly and courteous.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a nice experience - The hotel is old, the room was full of bugs, duvet cover was yellow. I was woken up a few times as something was biting me. The only good thing was convenient location and the front desk were friendly and helpful. Compared to other budget accommodation I’ve paid less and it was much more hygienic.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Below basic - Old, full of bugs, sheets yellow and very basic. Woke up a few times as something was biting me. Front desk was friendly and helpful.
- Radu (10/5): Good choice for 1 short stay - Excellent room rate. The best within the airport. Material conditions- acceptable. Good value for the spent money
- Patrick (4/5): - Budget room but very noisy AC, bad bedding, tiny and dirty bathroom…,
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very nice play to stay
- James (10/5): Perfect for Marseille Airport on a Budget - This hotel serves its purpose very well. It is a "budget" hotel so has only basic facilities but the rooms have good air con, are clean and the staff are helpful.
- Andrew (8/5): Great but courtesy bus was confusing - There was little to find fault with apart from one thing. Arriving at Marseille airport late in the evening, there was no indication as to where the courtesy bus would be waiting. After wandering up and down fruitlessly a taxi driver suggested that it could be found up by Terminal 1. When we got there the bus was in the act of driving away.
Fortunately we managed to stop it and got aboard. The driver was very helpful and helped us aboard (we’re elderly). I would suggest that the hotel includes detailed instructions about the courtesy bus in the booking confirmation email.
- Salim (6/5): Functional - This hotel is perfect for a short stay. I needed a bed before an early morning flight . Ibis budget hotel ticked all the box.
The staff are both friendly and helpful, the shuttle service is very efficient and the price rate is reasonably cheap compared to other hotels nearby. If you are not too fussy , this is the right place for one night stay.
- Don (10/5): Good value by the airport - Good budget option for an airport hotel. I walked to the airport from the hotel, though they do have a shuttle if you would prefer it. The room was small and basic, but that is what I needed for a short night. The price made this a good value. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was quite good.
- Marshall (8/5): decent budget hotel - My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very minimal budget hotel, but it was fine. With budget hotels like this, I just want a room that is clean and has quite rooms.
- Eliane (8/5): - I wish there was a mini fridge as i had some food to store overnight.
Room was small but i did not need more during that trip.
- Marieta (6/5): - It’s great for that quick stay when you gotta get up early and head to airport.
- Carloz (6/5): - Its not like pictures
- Shando (2/5): - Lived in a room without light in the toilet. I have asked the staff but haven't got any response from them.
- deirdre (10/5): Handy for the airport. - Our 4th stay here. Perfect for the airport. Very reasonable.
Very good staff.
- Fadi (8/5): - Good value
- Lubica (6/5): - The room was very small and there was an unpleasant smell when we entered the room. The beds were very tiny and hard. I didn’t even have enough space to open up my luggage in the room.
But overall it was ok since I had a very early flight next day. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and good coffee.
- Soulef (8/5): - Was only there for one night and it was perfect. The hotel is clean, nice staff and descent breakfast.
- Michael (8/5): Traveling - The hotel was nice, the twin beds were very, very small. It was a very small room. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic.
Close to the airport, good for a one night stay
- jean claude (10/5): One stop coming back from the States to relax. - Very good for what is this type hotel's norms (tight rooms).Cleanliness is guaranteed, helpful and gentle staff, good breakfast.
- Peter (6/5): - Some plumbing issues with bathroom sink.
- Anthony (10/5): - Short walk from the airport terminal, good value
- AYAKO (6/5): - Staff were nice and friendly. Room was very simple but good enough for just quick sleep if you have a super early morning flight.
- Paul (2/5): - Hotel was listed as on airport but it was not easy to get to. The courtesy phone in the airport to call for the shuttle did not work. There were no pedestrian signage to get tot the hotel and you find yourself walking through carparks trying to find a route to it.
- Mohanna (6/5): - Small room
No cabinet for clothes
And other service
- Donald (8/5): - Very clean and had everything you really need for one night. However, the plastic protective sheets left me covered in the night with my own sweat! There is a nice place to jog in an adjacent nature reserve, but you have to find the entrance through some brush, on the left, a few meters before you go through their gate. I had a good dinner at the nearby Hilton.
- April (10/5): - A
- Marta (8/5): - It was basic, simple and suitable for one night before early morning flight. The bedding was nice crisp and clean but the floors haven’t seen the vacum cleaner for a while. The active breakfast room at 4AM surprised me but has no time to use it. The staff at check in was curtous- minimalistic
Did not volounteer with any useful info.
- SAMIR (10/5): - Decent continental breakfast.
Very useful shuttle
- Jean-Andre (10/5): - Okay for the price ! Old property
- henry (6/5): - Convenient to airport but bringing in luggage difficult as they have carts but you are not allowed to put in elevator; bathroom had odor- probably from source(sulfur smell). Felt safe… staff did yell at us for not understanding luggage cart rules but no signage to inform
- Denise (8/5): Average stay. - The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is need of a repaint and maintenance. Excellent breakfast which was included in my rate. Not all the receptionists could communicate well in English. The airport shuttle was complimentary but only went into Terminal 1. The machine to order dinner in the reception did not work and there was no other way to get food. The receptionist eventually ordered for me. You cannot walk from the hotel to the airport as the route is on a highway. The complimentary shuttle airport shuttle the hotel offers us the only way to get to the airport. The airport shuttle bus needs to be fixed as it has been in a mayor accident and one side is all dinged up. Value for money room and served a purpose as I needed to be near the airport.
- Fabienne (4/5): - The very original things about this property are the tiny insects on the ceiling of the room, the stains left on the walls by previous guests having tried to eradicate them, the mold in the shower yet somewhat made better by the light on the shower handle. What a treat!
The required journey by foot to the airport for an early flight, since the shuttle was not available before 5am, was not particularly easy or fun.
Not to mention that no one was there for checkout.
- TOBIAS (8/5): Good for a one night stay. - Overall a good one night stay, checked in after midnight and we were offered the free shuttle for the next day - very helpful! The room was okay, smelt of damp and smoke in the bathroom, otherwise good. Breakfast was good, pastries, bread, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, juice, coffee. Helpful staff and like I said the shuttle was great.
- Marieann (4/5): - Ok for an overnight stop before travelling. No food facilities as such. Just a vending machine. We were told that the other ibis hotel in the vicinity had food .. The staff were very pleasant and helpful …
- Anna W (10/5): - Very basic, clean and inexpensive. Perfect for a brief transit stay.
- Matthew (2/5): - Tiny room not recommended for family
