• Ann-Katrin (7/5): Cozy little guesthouse with pool and a local feel - The room and very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was well maintained and inviting to sit and chill. The accomodation is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach and Lamai night market which means that the area around the accomodation is very quiet which I liked. Breakfast was great and very tasty, but there were only 2 breakfast options to choose from (Thai or American) so it can get a bit boring. I did stay for 2 weeks, wouldn't really be an issue on a shorter stay.

Chambre très basique. Douche thaïlandaise (dans les WC) mais ce n’était pas visible sur les photos et pas précisé sur l’annonce. Matelas inconfortable. Globalement mériterait un gros rafraîchissement pour justifier le tarif, par rapport à d’autres logements que nous avons fait.
• Chloé (7/5): Un bon séjour dans l’ensemble - Le personnel est vraiment super, agréable, sympathique, et attentif. L’emplacement est super également, à 10min de la plage, pas sur l’axe principal donc pas gêné par la circulation. Une belle piscine, un cadre sympathique. Une grande chambre, spacieuse. Une chambre légèrement bruyante, sûrement à cause du bloc Clim qui fait un bruit sourd. L’hôtel en lui même est très calme.

• Yana (5/5): - Ухоженная территория . Просторный номер. Приятный девушки на рецепшене . В номере все старое . Кондиционер очень шумно работает , холодильник тоже . Уснуть с таким шумом сложно. Завтрак оказался не вкусным и не разнообразным. Отвалилась головка от душа , правда быстро починили . До пляжа идти 15 минут и надо преходить через дорогу с оживленным движением . Если вы без скутера это очень напрягает .

Le patron Sébastien se rend toujours disponible pour vous arranger et vous renseigner. J'aurai aimé que la salle de bain soit plus grande et avec les toilettes séparées.... c'est le seul point négatif que j'ai trouvé.

• Jahnke (9/5): - Wir haben uns im Wirason Residence sofort wohl gefühlt, wir wurden nett empfangen und konnten unser großes sauberes Zimmer direkt beziehen. Den ganzen Tag über kann man kleine Speisen bestellen. Das Hotel ist sehr familiär und gemütlich. Der kleine, aber schöne Pool lädt direkt zum Abkühlen ein. Das Frühstück wurde nett serviert und war immer ausreichend. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits vom Strand, es ist gut, dass es sehr ruhig ist, allerdings muss man zum Strand etwa 20 Minuten laufen. Wir wussten das vorher und fanden es nicht schlimm

Espaces extérieurs tres agréable avec notamment une piscine avec prêt de serviettes. Le propriétaire est d'excellent conseil pour les activités à faire. La salle de bains Thaï peut surprendre au début mais on s'habitue très vite. On est en Thaïlande : autant vivre à la Thaïlandaise 😊

Room is spare but comfortable for the price. As a single woman traveler, I found the area a little seedy - I was looking for something quieter.

The king room with balcony was extremely basic for the money we’d paid, we had seen photos of it prior to booking however didn’t expect it to be as basic as it was. The staff weren’t overly friendly, all the electric turns off when you leave the room, it would be good if the fridge was on a separate circuit so you can have cold water after a day out. The reception closes at 6:30pm so nobody there to serve any drinks or food after that. An ok stay but wouldn’t return.

• Clutton (8/5): Very good - Everything was good. Food was good at the hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Family rooms downstairs were good and spacious. Double rooms upstairs were significantly smaller with very small bathrooms and shower over the toilet. Location was a bit of a walk from the centre and up a hill through a dirty street. Was a mission to cross the main road to get to the main area of town with fast traffic and no pedestrian crossings. No parking at hotel for hire cars. Pool was quite small.
• Tyler (9/5): Superb - The pool, breakfast and staff were all excellent. The room was large but kinda empty and Bathroom was very small. Staff helped with recommendations, taxi's and more. The AC was not permitted to run while away so the first 30-60 mins back you needed to cool down the room.
• Marta (10/5): I had the most beautiful holidays at Wirason Residence, a true little piece of paradise. - Wirason Residence in Lamai is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to all the local attractions. Conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Lamai’s vibrant center and the beautiful beach, it offers a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the crowded areas. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with comfortable beds for a relaxing stay. My room featured a Thai-style bathroom. I initially experienced a water pressure issue on the first day. However, after reporting it to reception, the problem was resolved within a few hours—credit to the staff for their swift action. I stayed in a first-floor room with a large balcony, offering a stunning view of the pool and the beautifully maintained garden. The pool and garden area are truly fabulous, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere that adds to the charm of this property. Breakfast is available at Wirason, with a choice of cereal and yogurt, Thai or American-style options. While the American breakfast is the same every day and might feel a bit repetitive, it’s still tasty and satisfying. The staff at Wirason Residence, including the receptionists and cleaning team, are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. This “little piece of paradise” is a place I’d wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. I’m already looking forward to the day I can return! N/A

• Jamie (2/5): Very poor - the property itself looks quite nice the location, there was a strange vibe in the property. we only ended up staying for one night as my partner was electrocuted by a plug socket, after informing the manager he didn’t apologise and just blamed the “thai electricity”
• Vincent (6/5): Pleasant - The pool is a bit small but okay, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast and coffee are not bad. The staff is very nice. The airco really makes a lot of noise at night and overall the place feels a bit outdated (shower head falling down etc). Also the location is a bit far from the beach and restaurants and you need to cross a busy street to get there. Would also not recommend this hotel if you have kids who like to run around and play (and thereby make noise) because they prefer things to be quiet. So not a bad place and a bit cheaper compared to the nicer hotels in Lamai, but I would not recommend it. Better to book one of the beach side hotels.

We had rooms at the end of the building, next door to a very scruffy farm with ducks and cockerels which made it a very noisy and quite smelly stay. The bathroom in the upstairs room was tiny, with the shower over the toilet.

Walking distance to the beach - 10-15 minutes (a lot of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, massage around). Or you can take a tuk tuk. staff was really helpful and kind, Sebastian gave us the information where to eat, helped us with rent a car, exchange money. Breakfast was perfect, you can choose American breakfast (pancakes, eggs, bacon) or Thai breakfast (fried rice with eggs), than there is fruit plate, good coffee, juice. Good value for money.

The staff was very friendly, although not everybody speaks good english. The rooms are big and the ac is working good. The breakfast was very good, you can choose between thai or american breakfast. The bathroom is very small and the shower is directly next to the toilet (open shower). Some space to put our stuff onto, would have been nice.
