• Sead (6/5): Trotz guter Lage und freundlichem Personal entsprach der Aufenthalt insgesamt nicht den Erwartungen - Die Lage und das freundliche Personal Die Ausstattung im Bad entspricht nicht den Erwartungen. Für knapp 300 Euro pro Nacht kann man erwarten, dass die Duschkabine über einen Griff verfügt, welcher offensichtlich fehlt. Zudem ragt die Gummidichtung heraus. Das Zimmer 202 sollte ausserdem gründlich gereinigt werden. Ausserdem haben wir und auch die anderen Gäste beim Auschecken eine Packung Pasta erhalten – verbunden mit der Bitte, eine Bewertung mit 10 Punkten zu hinterlassen und dabei speziell zwei Mitarbeitende zu erwähnen. Die Namen werde ich hier bewusst nicht aufführen.

• Maria C (10/5): Location, service, amazing staff (thank you Goli), cute clean modern rooms! - The location is superb - a two minute walk from the tram, I got out of the airport, into a tram and came straight to the hotel and probably walked a total of less than 5min out of the airport to the hotel. The location is super convenient, it's a good place to be if you need to take the train to either the Florence airport or from the Santa Maria train station to somewhere when you check out bc you can also leave your luggage with them at the front desk :) Service - staff at desk check in is amazing! I think one of the best experiences I've ever at in Italy at a hotel and I've stayed at many. Super welcoming, very accommodating, really friendly and all around very helpful. I personally made a hiccup in my itinerary and had to stay an extra night, and they helped me extend my stay for another night with ease. Thank you so much to Goli who helped me check in but went the extra mile to really feel welcome with my stay here! Rooms - rooms are petite as all rooms in Italy city centers are, but has everything you need and is clean. I stayed in a single bedroom with my giant luggage and felt like there was still enough space for me to be comfortable. I loved that there is a desk for anyone who needs to work out of the hotel room. I have no complaints!

• Rossouw (10/5): - After a long day of delayed flights, canceled trains, and emotional exhaustion, the one hotel I will always choose in Florence is the Joy Hotel. The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a calm atmosphere where you can truly escape the noise and chaos of travel. It is perfectly located just around the corner from the train station, which made everything so much easier during a very stressful travel day. Christian and Matteo were incredibly welcoming and accommodating from the very first moment. When I arrived wanting to leave some of my luggage at the hotel, they immediately made sure a room was available, which was such a relief after traveling from the USA. Their kindness and professionalism instantly changed the tone of the entire trip. The room was pristine, with beautiful crisp white towels and an elegant, peaceful feel. Before I left, they even made sure I had an espresso and a welcoming drink — such thoughtful Italian hospitality that made me feel truly cared for. Traveling internationally and dealing with the time difference caused us to wake up past checkout time, but the staff handled everything with such grace and understanding. They accommodated us without hesitation and happily stored our luggage while we explored Florence. This hotel is more than just a place to stay — it is a place where you can gather your thoughts, relax with light snacks or a drink at the bar, and feel genuinely looked after. Professional, elegant, warm, and authentically Italian. Thank you again to the entire team at Joy Hotel for turning a very difficult travel day into something memorable and comforting. I will absolutely be back.

• Morikawa (10/5): - The hotel is in the perfect location for travelers using Firenze Central Train Station. The room was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also excellent—delicious cakes and pastries, along with freshly made fruit salad, made for a wonderful start to the day. But the best part was the staff, who were all kind and full of hospitality. I would especially like to thank Christian, who kindly gave us a room with a bathtub and guided us to the best trippa and lampredotto in town!

No lo recomiendo para mayores de 50 años. - Lo mejor de todo, el desayuno, y sobre todo la camarera que nos atendió, Oshini. Su sonrisa y su amabilidad, hacían que el desayuno resultara todavía mejor. La ubicación es cómoda, porque está a dos pasos de la estación de Firenze Santa Maria Novella, pero el barrio está muy degradado (cosa que, obviamente, no es culpa del hotel), por lo que aconsejo a los que se vayan a alojar en él que entren por la Via de la Scala, en vez de directamente por la estación, que sería el camino más corto. Nos regalaron una consumición y un paquete de pasta, cosa que es de agradecer. El hotel está claramente destinado a un segmento de población joven, que prefiere un tipo hostel con baño y desayuno a un hotel tradicional. Sin embargo, la habitación es muy pequeña, y eso que pedimos un upgrade (¡como serán las habitaciones más pequeñas!). No hay sitio dónde colocar la ropa ni los objetos personales: solo había una mesita y la mesa estaba llena de cachivaches. Tampoco había sitio para colocar cosas en el baño, que tenía una bañera muy alta, peligrosísima para las personas que ya no son jóvenes.

Veldig hyggelige, hjelpsomme og profesjonelle. I spisesalen var betjeningen veldig vennlige. Også renholdpersonale gjorde veldig god jobb. Veldig god frokost, eggerøre noe av den beste på hotell. Glimrende beliggenhet, nær togstasjonen og bare 100 meter til trikkestopp med forbindelse til flyplassen. Kunne ønsket Smart TV på rommet.

Peu de rangements dans la chambre, obligés de laisser une de nos valises sur le sol…heureusement que nous ne restions pas une semaine. Et nous avons pourtant payé un supplément de 30€ pour une chambre plus grande.

The Staffs, especially Christian and Osman were very kind and made the best service so that the start and the end of our travel remained as a good memory. My daughter was very moved by their / italian attitude. We would definitely come again. It would have been six stars if they would have had double window system. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay much more than we expected.

It's located just next to Santa Maria Novella station. A very warm and friendly welcome from Christian and Oustian in the reception and they explained everything very well and gave me useful information about the city without me having to ask for it which was very appreciated. Also received a welcome drink ticket to use in their bar, so lovely. The night time staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely designed and you can tell there was thoughts behind how to make visitors enjoy their stay. Spacious room, comfy bed and a good bathroom even with a tub. The room had nice high ceiling and everything looked neat and clean. I will definitely stay here again when I go to Florence next time! Everything was great and I felt very safe and welcome here, I have nothing negative to say about my visit here.

Très bon petit déjeuner buffet qui propose des pâtisseries locales et de la charcuterie. Comme dans quasiment tout les hôtels, la température de la chambre est trop élevée... 24° ! Pas de notice de régulation, le thermostat est verrouillé, et il se coupe quand vous partez, résultat vous ouvrez la fenêtre des que vous arrivez. quel gaspillage ! Vous vous levez le matin avec un bon mal de tète et la bouche sèche. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend people to book here as we booked this after a horrible airbnb experience. I think the cleaning agent they use does smell too much of vinegar

È stato molto gradito l'aperitivo di benvenuto al bar Hanno una politica molto aggressiva per spingere a fare le recensioni. Ci è stato chiesto di scrivere una recensione: A voce al check in e al check out. Via whatsapp Via mail (più volte) E alla fine mi hanno pure telefonato. Trovo questa politica inaccettabile. Lascio i miei recapiti per necessità mie, non per farmi infastidire. Quando mi hanno chiamato gliel'ho pure detto ma non ne fanno faccia. Hanno attaccato al telefono con me e subito dopo hanno telefonato al collega che ha soggiornato con me per chiedere la stessa cosa. Non sono servite a niente le mie rimostranze. Però hanno raggiunto il loro obiettivo: gli ho fatto una recensione. Negativa però. E nemmeno troppo perché non posso dire che il soggiorno (per il resto) sia andato male. Ma sicuramente non tornerò.

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, polished, and genuinely welcoming. What made this stay especially memorable was the kindness and attentiveness of the team. We would especially like to thank Matteo, who was exceptionally helpful when assisting us with a room change and when my husband accidentally left an item in the safety box. It was kept safely for us until we returned, which we deeply appreciated. I also left my jacket behind, and it was thoughtfully hung up by the staff. We would also like to thank Usman, who always kindly checked that we were comfortable, and Matteo with glasses, who was equally friendly and welcoming. The team made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. The hotel is impeccably clean, very comfortable, and in an excellent location, with easy access to the bus, tram, and train station. Supermarket & restaurant very near hotel , The bed was especially comfortable, and overall the service stood out as one of the highlights of our stay in Florence. We left with such a positive impression and would be delighted to return on our next visit to Florence.
