• David (3/5): - The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was sizable. The elevator was convenient and in good condition. The. There was not one working ice machine on site, had to buy a bag of ice at the local gas station. Cleanliness and simple proper maintenance were lacking in many places in the room and overall building. The credit card number I used at this Holiday Inn for payment was reported to me being used at the local Walmart two days later, $500 was trying to be charged on it, the credit card company declined it thankfully, and froze the card, not sure how this happened, but a strange occurrence for a one night stay in this city.

Staff were nice. - Location was helpful for our purpose of travel Ice makers on each floor or at least that can generate ice more easily/quickly, make the WiFi more easily accessible, the room I was in was facing the highway and parking lot and did not have the extra cord to draw down the night time shades. So all we had were the sheer shades which meant our room had quite a bit of light in it. You can hear noises from upstairs and in the hallway from in your room very easily. Having someone at the desk visible during normal business hours when you are walking in and out would make the place feel more welcoming and less sketchy

• donnar966 (2/5): Our worst hotel experience ever - By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Our first room was filthy when we checked in. The room we ended up in smelled terrible. The front desk clerk was never there when we needed anything. The lobby bathroom sinks didn’t work So you go to the bathroom, soap up and then there is nowhere to rinse hands off. The lobby and halls are filthy.

But I just lowered my room temperature and put the ac/ unit on all night to mask the sound from the highway. My bed was a welcome relief, I didn't want to get up it was sooooo comfortable 🙃. Staff was very professional and friendly. If I'm ever back in this area, this hotel is where I'm staying!!

The second room appeared to be clean but pulled out a coffee cup to use and it was used. Very disappointed because we had stayed there many times and this was the first problem except for the poor. Poor has always been under construction or chemicals was t correct to go swim for the last year or so!!!! Our first room which was first impression of this stay was filthy and had to be moved to a different room.

• 264blairk (4/5): Disappointing for Holiday Inn - Positive: Rooms were clean. Everything looked up to date. Staff was friendly. Breakfast included. Negative: Pool was closed. According to staff its been closed for SIX MONTHS. We booked two rooms. In one room the TV didn't work. In the other room, some of the lights didn't work. It was difficult to get a hot shower. Not the worst experience, but I don't think we'd stay there again.

• Naoko (4/5): No hot shower! - Location worked for us as we needed to be a nearby town early next morning and there weren't other hotel options available unless we drove 30 min extra. Check in was fast as we had booked it on Booking.com. Breakfast was available right at 7 am Saturday as we were told although the quality was questionable. The bed was comfortable so we slept fine. The biggest issue was that our shower did not have hot water - it was tepid at best. My husband had to shower at 6 am so there was no help and he came out of the shower shivering! I could not dare to hop in the cold shower when it was 23 degrees outside (we had to leave the hotel early) so I basically sponge-bathed. The hotel had an appearance of a decent 3 start hotel but there were questionable things - such as the breakfast sausages that looked like they were reheated, the walls were super thin we could hear everything in the hallway to the next room, the noise from the traffic was pretty loud, the Kurig machine in the room did not work, TV showed only 2 channels (no cable), etc.

Clearly this room was not cleaned - I had family coming in for a celebration and wanted to have someplace for them to relax, swim and visit with their cousins before my nephew and his family were to be stationed overseas for four years. I called and spoke to Priceline and told them that I needed to make sure the pool was available and they assured me that it was. Upon check in, not only was the pool out of service, but when they pulled back their covers they found food crumbs on the sheets, an old box of donates left on the stand and the sofa bed was broken. In the morning their was no waffle mix, they said they ran out. No apologies. I went in to the hotel to speak to the Manager and was informed that she was not in and they did not know when to expect her. I left a note asking her to call and telling her that I worked until 3:30 and asked her to call me after that time because I cannot accept calls while at work. She called me back during the hours I told her I could not speak and left me a message stating that she could not talk with me unless I could call her before 2. How's that for customer service? She further stated that I did not deserve a full refund. However, I never requested that. An apology would have been great and some kind of restitution, half off a night's stay, I don't know. But my family has been using Holiday Inn for over 30 years and this will clearly make us rethink where we stay in the future. This woman was so incredibly rude.

But they reset the tv and the phone wasn't that big of a deal. The pool had no water in it. So that was a bit of a bummer.
