The customer service, breakfast, and the condition of the facility were in the top three of all the dozens of IHG operations in which we have stayed. The Atchison Holiday Inn is clearly first class. We have stayed there several times in previous visits, but this time was the best. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay as excellent as possible.

- E8763DInicolem (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easily the best Hotel to stay in Atchison - I travelled to this hotel from Derry, Northern Ireland in July 2019 & July 2024. I simply cannot recommend this hotel enough. I just love it and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Atchison. The rooms and beds in this hotel are the comfiest I have ever experienced. The hotel itself is really lovely and where it is situated is so central to the town. The staff are just so lovely and so very friendly, professional and welcoming. The customer service is second to none and Meghan the manager is just lovely. The breakfast is fantastic with plenty of choices with pastries, cereals and cooked food. The level of cleanliness and efficiency is outstanding and the air con is fantastic. Atchison is a beautiful wee town and I will repeat my visit there. The Annual Amelia Earhart Festival is well worth attending and has something for everyone in the family.

One of the maids, Heather I think, was also a very nice and had lots of great local info too. The location couldn't have been more centralized. It was right in the middle of all the attractions, food, and shopping. The price was high, but that's to be expected on a busy weekend.

The staff was not helpful in the least. They offered no solution, no room comp, no alternative. Be advised that apparently, the confirmation number doesn't mean anything if a reservation can simply be dropped.

- Venture53106522447 (10/5): Wonderful Visit - We don't often write reviews but this place was exceptional. Friendly staff, immaculate rooms, delicious breakfast. Our family greatly enjoyed their stay. It's hard to find people who take such pride in their work to go above and beyond for their guests. Truly a top notch hotel thank you!

- Geominer1 (10/5): Great Hotel - A great place to stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Stayed almost 20 nights. Best place in town. Decient breakfast and will have a Scooters coffee opening next door very soon. Definitely visit the coffee stand that occasionally pops up out front

- Dean (8/5): Clean and friendly in Atchinson. - Overall for the area I would say it was a good choice. The only disappointment was the noise on the side of our room. Traffic noise, train tracks. If someone took a show or bath above us we could hear weird noises in the pipes from our room. That was a little annoying. The staff is friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was very clean. Would I stay here again? Yes. But I would ask to stay on the north side away from the traffic and train noise.

- Sofie (7/5): Good - Great location as we were in town for the festival. Clean room, comfortable beds. The breakfast was very very basic: paper plates, hardly any bread.

- Mark (7/5): Adequate. - Pancake machine did not work. They could have cleaned our room and given us clean towels after our first night as we requested. That did not happen.

- Christina1119 (10/5): We had a Great Stay - Room was very clean and spacious. Quote with no issues. Laundry was nice with 2 washers ($2) & 2 dryers ($1) . Breakfast was good. Your basics, eggs, sausage, biscuits, pancakes and other items. I think my only issue was when I needed something and to check out no one was at the desk. I had to call out & still no response. Took someone by the door for them to respond. That’s needs to be a little better. Hiding out in the back room and you can hear them, but not get a response gets old fast.

- 315leilas (10/5): Atchison KS stay - Nicely appointed and clean rooms. Maryanne does an amazing breakfast in the morning. Everything was great. We were here on business, but we really enjoyed Atchison in the evening. Quaint, historic river town with lots of opportunity to walk and explore.
