• Lies (10/5): Truly a paradise - The pool, the view, the quiet, the flexibility for vegan and the delicious food (including really good breakfast and lunch), the amenities foreseen for our dog and that the staff is really dogfriend, the soft towels. It is clear that every details is considered. The location ensures peace and quiet but also means that you can go out for a walk (but the premises are big enough to stroll around)

Chambres agréables. Pdj tout aussi top Très, très déçu par le restaurant du soir. Pas du tout au niveau de la restauration italienne et le tout pour 60e par personne, hors boissons, et tout végétarien. C’est très bien de proposer une carte toute végétarienne mais il faut alors un niveau exceptionnel. Enfin, il faut prévenir votre clientèle que la piscine est non chauffée, donc à 15 degré mi mai !

Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et très varié. C’est de loin notre meilleure expérience dans les Pouilles.

• francoise (10/5): - L’emplacement au milieu des oliviers, la masseria vaste et agréable, la chambre spacieuse - nous avons bénéficié d’un sur classement) et très confortable, la jolie piscine, le petit-déjeuner excellent et varié, confectionné avec des produits locaux, tout était parfait. Sans oublier le personnel très accueillant. Et un wifi excellent. Peut-être une carte plus claire au restaurant. Un menu unique est affiché le soir à 60€ par personne mais on peut quand même commander à la carte les plats du menu et de ce fait sans en connaitre le prix. Je précise que les plats sont d’une grande qualité !

• Hugh (8/5): Very peaceful and relaxing place to explore the surrounding area. - Check-in was friendly and efficient. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco. We had an upstairs room and the staff transported our luggage from the car to the room, and the reverse on checkout. Thank you. Our room was spacious and had a huge private veranda with lovely views to the sea in the distance. However several of the rooms just faced the front courtyard and I’m very glad we weren’t staying there. Breakfast has a wide choice of options and was adequate. We ate at the outdoors pizzeria one night. The pizza was overpriced with a thick pastry base and very limited toppings. Very ordinary. The second night we used the restaurant which was lovely but again overpriced in my opinion. The swimming pool area was very pleasant. This Masseria is a historic old building which has been nicely restored. It is very remote and quite hard to find, especially at night. I rarely comment on value but to be honest, I felt everything was overpriced. By way of example, we stayed at the 5 star Patria Palace Hotel in Lecce (one of the ‘leading hotels in the world’ group) for two thirds of the price and it was far superior. Sorry.

The staff were friendly and helpful, willing to do anything to make our stay the best possible, and the food was INCREDIBLE, especially the lunch by the pool. The pool was picturesque, the views were incredible, the attention to detail was immaculate. I only have the best things to say, and can’t wait to return one day! NOTHING! Perfection.

Only serving a vegetarian menu is difficult with children and the night we did eat in there we found the food very bland and disappointing. The pizza restaurant was good but one one night it was closed and the other b/c of the weather they had to shut which meant we had to eat out most of the time. Also very limited menu by the pool. I would not return with children.

The pool was clean and relaxing, with more than enough chairs so that things didn’t feel crowded. The staff is wonderful and there to help with anything you need. And finally, the breakfast was 10/10 with so many options, including for vegan and gluten-free guests.

Eine Empfehlung: für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie wäre es schön, wenn die abfahrenden Gäste eine Flasche Wasser bekommen könnten, gerade wenn es so heiß ist wie es bei uns war.

• Philip Nordmand (10/5): Rustic Italian luxury - We had a wonderful stay at this romantic and tranquil masseria in a beautiful olive grove landscape. The staff went above and beyond, especially in accommodating our plant-based/vegan diet. Each morning, we were served a special plate of vegan croissants, pastries, and cakes, and the evening tasting menu in the restaurant was thoughtfully adapted for us. The food experience blew us away and was an absolute highlight of our holiday. We also really enjoyed the more casual outdoor pizza restaurant. Our room was spacious and relaxing, and had a lovely private terrace. Housekeeping attentively refreshed our room twice a day, adding an extra sense of luxury. The views from the pool were stunning, and the poolside lunch and bar service was a treat. A truly memorable and relaxing stay with exceptional food and service. We’re reluctant to criticize but feel that this needs a mention. We were surprised to be outnumbered by families with young children. On two occasions, we chose not to use the pool as it was quite busy and noisy. At dinner one evening, the otherwise exceptional experience was affected by a number of children screaming and running between tables. While the quality of the food and service was superb, the tranquil and romantic atmosphere was disrupted. This is simply something to be aware of if you’re visiting during peak holiday weeks and hoping for a more serene, adults-oriented experience.

• ExpatwithKids (10/5): Romantic getaway with lots of local charm & wonderful service - Very nicely renovated masseria with many different outdoor spaces. Breakfast buffet was spectacular in taste and sight. Fresh juices, huge selection in sweet and savoury local produce which were all delicious. Special vegan corner. Vegetarian dinner menu is worth trying even if you're not vegetarian. Lovely outdoor patio to enjoy a relaxed meals. Pool side was cleverly built into the original structure and allowed for much needed refreshment at the end of the day. Rooms were authentic and romantic with good sized bathroom. Staff was super friendly and very attentive to details. A little more hot water in the teapot for would have allowed for two cups of tea rather than one.

Sun beds aren’t that comfy as they are very short (too short) for tall people. Vegetarian menu for dinner only, no a la carte option.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced (though we only tried the breakfast and pizzeria). Overall a very chilled environment to relax and unwind. • Louis (10/5): Urlaub abseits der Touristenströme - Eine sehr schöne Masseria inmitten eines Olivenhaines. Es gibt nicht viel dazu zu sagen, wir waren einfach nur sprachlos! Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht. Man könnte es sicher länger dort aushalten!:-) Das ist Italien wie man es sich vorstellt!
