• Albert (10/5): Alojamiento muy conveniente frente a la plaza de toros - Ubicación excelente frente a la plaza de toros de Campo Pequeno donde teníamos entradas para un concierto. En la misma manzana hay una entrada a la línea amarilla de metro. A 5 minutos andando de la estación de tren que va a Sintra. Desayuno muy completo incluido en el precio. Manuel nos recibió muy amablemente incluso un poco antes de la hora prevista para hacer el check-in. Nos guardaron las maletas el día de marchar para poder aprovechar el día sin tener que llevar el equipaje a cuestas. Los baños son compartidos. Esto ya se indica claramente a la hora de hacer la reserva, así que no es motivo de queja alguna (además, debo decir que los baños los tienen bien limpios). Sólo lo indico para que la gente lo tenga en cuenta.

• Bojana (10/5): Perfect location and exceptional hospitality - Exceptional accommodation in a perfect location (the bus stop and metro station are right in front of the building, and the train station is just a 3-minute walk away). The hosts are very kind — Ana even prepared breakfast earlier than scheduled on our last day because we had an early flight. Everything is spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms, even though they are shared. I highly recommend Republica B&B, and I will definitely choose it again the next time I visit Lisbon.

Ho apprezzato molto la disponibilità della signora Ana, sempre gentile e pronta ad aiutare, che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. In generale l’atmosfera era accogliente e familiare: ci si sentiva davvero come a casa. La colazione era nella norma, ma i pastel de nata appena sfornati erano ottimi. La stanza confortevole. Il caffè 😂

Elle était aux petits soins et nous donnait des conseils pour visiter Lisbonne. Les salles de bain partagées étaient le seul point faible. Malgré cela, elles étaient propres et fonctionnelles.

A Ana é uma querida e o Manuel também, nos deram tantas dicas de locomoção, compras, cuidados e pontos turísticos. Cama muito boa, quarto sempre limpo. Café da manhã uma delícia e com uma vista de cartão postal. Amamos demais!!! Tudo foi maravilhoso, apenas o elevador do prédio que deve-se ter um pouco de cuidado com o barulho ou batida da porta, mas nada que não fosse fácil de se adaptar.

The coffee was not good, and although I was unhappy to discover that the bathroom was shared, somehow it was not so bad, because it was clean. I can imagine that in the summer, it would not have been manageable. Also, the comforters could use am upgrade.

The setup is unique, included a large private room with balcony and we had access to three individual bathrooms, full kitchen, dining tables, and family room. Location was good. Convenient location near the metro. Basic breakfast, the same every day, no variety, very monotonous for a multi-day stay I do not recommend it for those who value privacy and quiet. We could hear the neighbouring rooms, and every morning we were woken up by breakfast being prepared or cleaning going on all morning. We expected shared bathrooms, but not just basic cleaning and mold. I would expect thorough cleaning every day, not just once a week. I didn't feel comfortable using it.
