Guest Reviews
- Donald (10/5): - Friendly, rooms were spacious Nothing
- Idaira (7/5): -
- Maarten Lauwers (10/5): - Moderne douche (meerdere standen zelfs met waterval)
Zeer goedkope prijs

- Ajsiha (10/5): - It gave cabin vibes Nothing at all
- Michelle (10/5): A great place to stay rooms are clean staff is Freindly - Staff friendly and very clean
- Steven (10/5): - My husband and I have stayed at highland Inn many of times. So much so we have an assigned room when we stay. The price and the staff is amazing.
- Maureen (10/5): Comfortable stay in a vintage hotel. - Staff very pleasant and professional. Our room was exceptionally clean. We were so happy with our stay. Loved the fact that there was vinyl planked flooring. I do not like carpeting in hotels. This is a vintage hotel. Not perfect, but very clean, safe, and a wonderful value. It sits close to the highway, but the sounds didn’t bother our sleep. Comfortable beds, and great water pressure and water temperature. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for a stress free stay. Nothing.
- Christopher D Brosius (10/5): - Na NA
- Shakirzyanov (10/5): - Everything is wonderful!
- Shakirzyanov (10/5): - Amazing motel. Abby is an amazing a d caring manager
- Katarina (7/5): Not a five star stay, but can’t complain for the price - Friendly staff, easy check in-check out. Incredible price Hastily done renovations, half-done feeling. Very hard mattress.
- Theresa (1/5): Left my money with them but I wouldn't stay there for any reason. - This place was a total dump. We arrived an hour early and once we were told it would cost us $25 more to check in at 2, we looked around and realized it was more like a "no-tell motel". In fact, this morning our son was at the gas station below the motel and there were lots of law enforcement up there. It falls me to lose my $53 but a big HELL NO!! EVERYTHING!
- Minton (10/5): - Cozy, private, nice view

- Shakirzyanov (10/5): - Awesome clean rooms, cheap 24/7 laundromat
- Nix (10/5): My day was outstanding - Close to the church N/A

- Léo (9/5): comme a la maison :D - confort du lit !
- Mary and John (9/5): One receives value for their money. - Breakfast was not an option. The first sign should have an arrow, since the others on route to hotel did. Large pothole near entrance.
- patrick (9/5): -
- Tom (7/5): - Friendly cheap quiet old but reasonably maintained motel. Nothing fancy, but I was satisfied with my stay.
- Marissa (8/5): Great, quiet little Inn with all amenities needed. - I liked that it's a small Inn. It was very clean and nicely furnished. Staff (Abbey) was friendly and helpful. Super hot water was wonderful! Coffee was provided which was a nice touch and having a microwave and mini-fridge was great! We would definitely stay here again. VERY noisy from the Interstate traffic beside and below the Inn, however, it didn't disrupt our sleep so it was something easily overlooked but I still wanted to mention it for those who are light sleepers.

They roll the red carpet out for me and I will always stay here each time I am in town! You will never go wrong staying here… super clean rooms, fast WiFi and huge Roku tv’s!

- Kris (10/5): Great Hospitality! - Managed well. Super clean. Great value Nothing

- Karen (7/5): Stayed here one night. Room was nice for the price. Would stay again. - Room was nice size. Nice couch/tv sitting area. Heater worked great! Very nice for the price! Outside seemed a little run down. Bed was not comfortable.
- David (10/5): Nice older motel right off interstate 83 - Nice older motel located up on a hill. Room very big and clean. Had everything for a comfortable stay. Quiet. No complaints. Price of room was cheap. Nothing wrong
- Preston (10/5): Will always be my home away from home! - There is not enough room on here to say all the good things about this place… front desk staff is more than amazing!! She rolls the red carpet out. The rooms are super clean, fast WiFi and amazing TV channels! I wish I could live here 24/7!
- Kris (10/5): -
- Salene (8/5): - The location was great. The room was also exactly like the photos. Also, the water pressure and temperature was amazing. The beds were good, but a little to firm for me. Even with this issue, I’d still stay again.
- Rob (10/5): Great little place - As the other reviews stated. The room was clean, looks like updated toilet, shower, sink. Bed was comfortable and clean. Big fridge. Was very happy with my stay. A few comments on sketchy. Not at all. Nice place. Picnic benches, basketball hoop, bonfire. Not a thing
- Kent (9/5): -
- Louise (10/5): The stay was very relaxing and comforts we we - The clean room!
- Kendra (8/5): -
- Preston (10/5): My home away from home! - This is my third time and it gets better each time!! The front desk lady is phenomenal and always treats me like family! The rooms are super clean, great water pressure and beds sleep perfect! The WiFi is supersonic fast and very quiet at night. I will always come back to stay here every time I am in town! Everything is awesome!!
- Scott (5/5): Perfect for a cheap bed for the night while on the road. - I just needed a cheap place to stay to make my morning a little easier. And that’s what I got. The girl at check in was very friendly and informative. There were lots of ant traps, including crumpled up old ones behind the dresser. Also, the heat would not shut off, so the room was a little toasty for my taste, but again, for one night, it was fine. While the bathroom was dated, that wasn’t a dealbreaker, as I just needed a place to sleep.
- Hurrelbrink (8/5): Good - Very clean
- Keluarga (10/5): - This is 2nd time to stay here, always welcome. See you next time.
- Stewart (8/5): - Nice room especially for the price:) Being so near the highway meant it was noisy outside. Quiet inside though which was the main thing
- Vogin (8/5): - Conveniently located, inexpensive. No frills. Available ice machine. I was able to park next to my room. Generally clean. Plenty of hot water for my shower. Good refrigerator and microwave. WiFi did not have a strong signal.
- Laci777 (10/5): Nice and warm - Everything. The room has own old-school charm.
Also the room was spacious. For some peoples taste can be too old-school
- DEIDRA (10/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Linda (8/5): Pleasantly surprised, comfortable and clean - The rooms were decorated nicely and exceptionally clean. Not a dust bunny anywhere! The grounds left a little to be desired. Makes you wonder what the room is going to look like. Also the driveway into the property is quite steep and you can bottom out if you go too fast.
- serge (10/5): Rapport qualité prix génial - La propreté, l’équipement, la situation, l’accueil Rien
- Kris (10/5): - Great hospitality. Super clean. Amazing manager/owner!
- Adrie (8/5): - Direct buiten .
- Timothy (5/5): No Frills in New Cumberland - Cheap, basic place to sleep. Fairly clean. This motel is old, dark and dingy rooms, with insufficient electric capacity. Upon arrival I was told you can't run the ac, coffee maker or hair dryer at the same time. There was exposed, overloaded outlets everywhere. Had to unplug the cable box each time to reset for viewing TV. Half of the bed was collapsed when I arrived. The woman came in and acted like it was a hassle to fix and then mumbled some about what did I expect for $60 a night. The vibe and noise level isn't good. You can tell down on their luck people are living there. Wouldn't recommend for families or women traveling alone.
- Steve (10/5): - Quiet
- Buchanan (10/5): Nice little place for the price - Nice little hotel, clean room. I will stay here again although there are some cons Highway noise was pretty bad, and kinda damp in the room the whole time beds were super uncomfortable.
- timothy (7/5): Refurbished old motel - Recently refurbished room Some of the other guests looked a little sketchy so we felt a little uncomfortable.
- Steven (10/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): - I made the reservation in advance in anticipation of a late flight
- John (8/5): - Flimsy doors.
- Woodrow (10/5): -
- Denyce (10/5): No complaints at all !! - We stay here whenever we need accommodations in the area. It’s always clean and comfortable. N/A

- Preston (10/5): This place is awesome! I will definitely rebook again! - Very friendly front desk staff!! Rooms are very clean and fast WiFi! Lots of TV channels and very quiet at night! Pics are what you get and beds sleep great!
- Brittani (5/5): Typical off highway motel - I liked the cost and that it was an actual key to get into the room, not a key card. I also liked that there was a laundry room on site for guests to use, at a cost of course but that is to be expected, it was cheaper than a laundromat.
The woman at the front desk was very kind and answered all of my questions before they were asked. Check in was SUPER easy and they can take your incidentals deposit in cash and then when you check out, they check your room immediately and if all is good, you get your cash back.. I liked that a lot better than waiting 3-5 business days for it to show back up in my bank account.
The location wasn't quite where I needed it to be, I underestimated my travel time/mileage to our reason for the stay, so I wouldn't stay again, but it was a nice quiet place and no one bothered us at all and if I were just traveling through and staying a night to take a break from driving, I would stay again. I didn't like the parking lot, but it is a highway motel on a hill in the mountains so, not much could be done about that. But if your car is low to the ground, I would look elsewhere, there were lots of scrape marks at the bottom of the driveway where it meets the road from cars going in and out, luckily I have a taller SUV so I didn't have an issue.
My room was pretty dated also and could use some sprucing. Wood paneling on the walls, drop tile ceilings and you have to turn off the air conditioner to use the microwave or hairdryer.. having 2 running at once will pop the breaker. Also, the sink isn't in the bathroom, its out in the room, only the toilet and shower were in the bathroom.. which is convenient if someone is just needing to brush their teeth or do their hair while someone is showering or using the toilet.. but strange.

- Arnaud Bongrand (6/5): A nice motel - It is a very convenient place to stay near Harrisburg. The room is very clean, spacious and you get everything you need for what paid. The outside of the building is not like the photograph : some restoration could be nice.
Otherwise, the decoration is not on the top priority and it seems a little bit old, now.
- catarina (8/5): -
- ROGER (10/5): Quiet one night get a way - Nice are quite old but wonderful. You won’t find a nicer stay for the money.
- Jessica (6/5): - Outside was very off-putting and run down like an old motel, kind of out of the way and overrun with invasive spotted lanternflies. The inside was nice, but obviously an old property that had been repainted and redecorated. We were told at check-in to only use one of the following appliances at a time or risk a blown fuse: A/C, microwave, or coffee maker. Countertop was peeling off and part of the dresser was missing, pull-out bed had no mattress, bright stage lighting directly above the TV. Basically a polished turd. This hotel was not worth nearly $80/night.
- Ervin (6/5): - Ok motel for the price. Some shady ppl sometime hang outside they room doors but they won't bother you.
- Matthew (8/5): -

- Ronald (9/5): - What an absolutely gorgeous hotel.
- Billy (8/5): Give it a try, you wil lnot regret .... - This place far exceeded my first impression. I was a bit leary driving in. Bare bones but, clean, comfortable, relativly insect free and everything I expect in an ecconomical facility. It would be my choice again if I find myself in the area ...
