Guest Reviews
- Phil (10/5): - Really helpful, clean room comfy bed, lovely breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely house in a great location - The house was lovely very clean and well presented the owner could not have been more helpful to us the breakfast was amazing served to the room at a time of our choosing all and all I would have no problem in recommending this accommodation
- Michael (10/5): - Lovely room at the top of the house with fine views across the Lough
Delicious breakfast brought to the room in the morning.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Briefly at hotel only as needed place to sleep. Had to depart 4am so missed breakfast but they allowed me to help myself from the kitchen. Otherwise, bed was good as was service
- pauline (10/5): Great trip. - Superb location. Great host, nothing was to much trouble. Thought it was strange breakfast served in your room but it was great and very tasty too. Would definitely go back again given the chance.
- Christopher (10/5): THE place to stay in Bangor. - This hotel was a real find. Excellent location, very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and a warm welcome from the owner, Richard. Highly recommended!
- David (10/5): Quick stop in Bangor - Great wee place - excellent breakfast choices and friendly owner - recommended!
- Seema (8/5): Bang on the seafront in Bangor - I stayed 12 nights and would definitely recommend this property. It is unlikely that the few downsides for me would be relevant to other people but I am sure most, if not all, would appreciate the upsides. The location is ideal, directly on the seafront with a wonderful view out to a beautiful and fascinating area of Bangor, at the Long Hole. It is also as close as can be to the Tourist Office, attached to a historic Tower House, the McKee clock and an inviting array of shops and eateries on the main street. Parking is free and there is plenty of it, although it may be full directly opposite the B&B. It is a one way street, so take the first vacant space you come to! The premises themselves were faultless: spotlessly clean, smart, functional and comfortable. Wifi was totally troublefree. The quality and choice for breakfast was truly impressive. It is pre-ordered and delivered outside the room on the dot, with a knock to alert you (or occasionally to wake you)! The owner and host, Richard, really cares and it shows throughout the property. My only real difficulties were right at the beginning and largely due to my hearing problems and consequent avoidance of the use of my smartphone except for texts and emergencies. I would advise Richard to supply full check in details when he is absent, as other properties normally do, but his existing arrangements would suit most travellers and should not deter potential guests.
- Jonathan (10/5): Great location - Fantastic spot and great little guest house. Would recommend this place.
- billandrobyn (10/5): - Richard was a great host and prepared us a beautiful breakfast
- Alwyn (8/5): - Really great value for money and was so handy to the nightlife and marina
Breakfast to the room was excellent
Would definitely stay again
- Robert (10/5): - In my experience this is about as good as it gets. Our room was spotless. Extremely clean. The included breakfasts offered numerous options, all of which were absolutely delicious and served promptly within a 15-minute window of our choosing. In a nutshell, I simply have nothing bad to say about this place. Richard, the owner, has previous experience in the hospitality business and it clearly shows. His winning smile and professional attention to detail made everything simply wonderful. He even took time to print out our airline boarding passes at checkout. I would not hesitate to recommend 30 Seacliff to anyone. One observation however; all rooms are on either the 2nd or 3rd floors, which didn't bother us at all, but might be problematic for elderly or handicapped individuals. Otherwise, it's an incredibly excellent place to stay.
- Kerry (10/5): Clean, comfortable, lovely high quality bed...great! - Travelled for friends party quick two night break.... Richard super no hassle fuss free host. Everything you could need/want in place.
- Joanne (10/5): A Gem on the Sea - Right on the sea, with a beautiful view from our room. Huge, clean, comfortable room. Breakfast ordered the day before, and brought to our room, left outside the door with a knock, at whatever time you'd like. It has a beautiful front porch and deck to sit and enjoy the view. The host is accommodating, personable and friendly. 5 plus stars.
- george (10/5): great place to stay - stayed here as I was visiting my son who lives in one of the villages close by, lovely place to stay, owner really nice guy and good to chat to, would definitely stay here again, lovely breakfast also
- Mary (10/5): Secret escape - Hotel small but lovely services great host absolutely brilliant welcoming and offered local information will use again
- David (10/5): - We had such a lovely stay at 30 Seacliff. The room was very comfortable, quiet & well equipped. The shower in the ensuite is amazing! The hotel itself is in a lovely location, very central & right beside the sea. Highly recommended.
- Ian (10/5): 5 star boutique B&B with immaculate service! - From the check-in to check-out everything was marvellous. Richard greeted us at the right time, he explained everything that we needed to know in order to use the accommodation comfortably, then he left us to enjoy the rest of our day. He brought us some non-dairy milk drink for our request and a form to fill out with our choice of breakfast that he made us and brought up to our room placing it in front of our door every morning at the requested time and that was cooked immaculately on every occasion. The area is peaceful so we could enjoy the seaside and our nights without interruption by any noise. Upon check-in both the boutique B&B and the room smelled beautiful and refreshing as a 4-5 star hotel. All together we felt very welcomed and as if we were at home. Richard is a fantastic host and is managing his property outstandingly well. Lastly his cat Miś is just as adorable.
Thank you for the nice chats and your hospitality.
P.S. The amenities of the room were as thoroughly carried out as at any 4-5 star hotels on the continent.
- Kelly (10/5): - Lovely view and amazing owner also best breaskfast ever
- kathy (10/5): Recommended! - The reviews here are all true!
On street parking just outside.
30seacliff is a gorgeous B&B, and Richard is a very friendly and attentive host. He has the place well thought out, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless.
Room 3 is class and the seaview is great! I suggest you go for it. It's on the top floor so a few flights of stairs to navigate first. Very spacious. Complimentary coffee, kitkats, and bottled water.
Lovely bright and airy big bathroom with rainfall shower.
Hi speed WiFi and Netflix for anyone wanting to hang out in the room.
Good selection on the breakfast menu which is ordered the evening before, and you select the time slot you want it. The next morning there's a knock on the door and the tray is there waiting for you. Sitting down to a tasty breakfast with the great view was a lovely start to our day.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Shame about the room view - Cute B&B on the sea front. Fresh milk, biscuits and water in your room daily which I appreciated. Massive cooked or continental breakfast delivered to your room that fuels you all day. Room 5 is at the back so no sea view.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent stay - A fabulous stay. Richard was the perfect host and we felt right at home immediately. The room was warm and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Highly recommended.
- Elaine (10/5): - Stayed only one night but would highly recommend. If back in the area would stay again. Everything just perfect including a beautiful breakfast delivered to your room. 😊😊😊
- James (10/5): Over looking the entrance to Belfast lough - Excellent host property just a short toddle from the best part of BANGOR
Exceptional to find yourself at the centre of the tourist area with easy parking and lots to see and do just a few steps away.
The host has streamlined all aspects of arrival, return, departure and particularly standard cooked breakfast on a tray to your door!

- Cheryl (10/5): - Richard was a great host our room was spotless and bed was so comfortable. We had a choice of breakfast and time it was delivered to our room. Everything about our stay was fantastic.
- Iain (10/5): Top notch boutique B&B - Accommodation was first class, only draw back was the quite a lot of stairs to climb to the bedroom. Richard is a very good host and getting breakfast delivered to your room at whatever time you choose was excellent.
- Candy (10/5): Nice B&B by the ocean - Lovely! Simply lovely! Richard is a superb host, we had an wonderful stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good host, clean, tidy and nice room and cracking breakfast!
- Graeme (10/5): Nice hotel in a great location on the waterfront - The guy running the hotel while we stayed was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is tastefully decorated. Our room (5) was a little on the small side with limited space to put things, but this is not a big deal. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Very good value for money. I will stay here again.
- D (10/5): What a gorgeous place😊 - This place is directly across from the sea-perfect! The host was so friendly & couldn’t have been nicer, he even found my missing car keys!
The nicely decorated room was spotless, everything looked new.
Had a delicious breakfast in the morning to start the day.
I would highly recommend this lovely B&B😊
- Glynis (10/5): Great place home from home - Wonderful weekend stay and all the better for the great customer service and this family friendly well positioned hotel. Always willing to help and give directions to places we needed to visit. A very hearty breakfast and comfortable bed and a shower you could actually turn around in! Top of our list for our next visit and will encourage other too! Thank you Richard.
- Colin (10/5): Close to sea and lots of restaurants nearby - We stayed for 2 days and it was ideal for us. Very comfortable room. There is a shower in the bedroom and this would be better in a separate bathroom. Overall a great place for a short stay.

- Don (10/5): Perfect BnB in Bangor - I had a wonderful stay. Richard was an amazing host, and the home really felt like home. Perfectly walkable to everything too. Richard arranged for a taxi to pick me up at 5am and take me to Belfast to make my bus. He even left me with a sack breakfast for the trip!
- GPJimmy (10/5): Excellent apart from check in - We had problems getting checked in. We arrived 30minutes prior to our previously agreed 4pm check in. And still had had no response to my messages by 5.30pm Cold wet and fed up on eventual check in. Everything else was great. Room lovely. Addition of an iPhone music docking station would make things 100% Thankyou
- Kenneth (10/5): Lovely Hotel close to marina - Very nice hotel , owner could not have done more to make my stay enjoyable
- james (10/5): - Excellent stay, central location.
Room comfortable and great breakfast.
All hosted by Richard who met all needs.

- MS SARA BRAGAGIA (10/5): Would go back any time! - Richard is the best host, excellent service, breakfast, location and the room was amazing!
If any remark should be made, it could use more amenities (a kettle, shower cap, body lotion, bath robe, slippers)
- lilian (10/5): Lovely spot over looking the sea - We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and spacious. Our breakfast was brought to our room, which was hot. There was a draft coming from the window.
