Guest Reviews
- KarrimZ (2/5): Poor social skills - 1. Asked for an iron was told no hotel in amaan has irons
2. Bin was filthy and the linen had patches of a liquid
3. No room service we landed late and asked for the kitchen he bluntly put us through to which we were told sorry no food.
Disappointed.
- Adventure31658578695 (2/5): Rudeness of Reception's team - Hotel is undeniably beautiful and offers reasonable prices, my recent stay was marred by exceptionally poor service, particularly from the reception staff.
One glaring example occurred when I requested a bathrobe. The receptionist responded, “Let me check and get back to you,” but never followed up. When I called again to inquire, I was told, “The staff washed the robes, and they’re still not dry.” Such delays and lack of initiative became a recurring theme; even simple requests required multiple calls to the reception before being addressed.
However, the most appalling incident involved the receptionist’s outright rudeness. A friend visited me at the hotel, and shortly after their arrival, the receptionist called my room to announce, “You have a visitor. This will be your last visit for today, okay?” The condescending tone and unprofessional manner in which this was communicated were utterly unacceptable.
The reception team’s conduct starkly contradicts the standards expected of a hospitality establishment. They are the first impression guests encounter, and their behavior tarnished what could have been a pleasant stay. I strongly urge the hotel management to retrain or replace these staff members to ensure future guests are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
Thanks
- ellism2015 (4/5): Not a good 4-Star Hotel - Harir Palace is located quite far from the city center, which can make getting around a bit inconvenient. The interior design of the hotel is a bit inconsistent, with various elements that don’t seem to blend well together. Unfortunately, our room didn’t offer much in terms of views, which was a bit disappointing.
Another issue we encountered was the slow-responding sensors in the corridors; the lights took a few seconds to turn on, leaving us in the dark briefly. Additionally, the room service was quite slow, which detracted from the overall experience.
Considering all this, Harir Palace didn’t quite feel like a 4-star hotel compared to other places we stayed at in Jordan. It didn’t meet our expectations for the price and rating.
- 475huriaa (2/5): The worst hotel in Amman ever - The worst hotel in Amman everrrrr!
Please guys don’t book there, terrible hygiene, terrible staff, terrible rooms!
It’s a nightmare I swear, I’ve never had such an experience, if you wanna catch a virus then go there!
The staff are really rude and treat guests badly, room service is the worst and you can rent a much better hotel in Amman cheaper than this one!
Am so disappointed and would never recommend such a palace to anyone ever
- 497maleka (6/5): Harir Palace Hotel Review - Staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, but you then breakfast is ok. There is a gym , a pool, and a spa. The neighborhood the hotel is located in quite and decent and is considered an upper middle class neighborhood.
It’s a 5 mins ride to Abdali.

- FlappyHanson (8/5): A good hotel for a tired traveler - We stayed in this hotel during our pilgrimage that started in Egypt and ended in Jordan. We visited Mt. Nebo and other sites, and also Petra.
This hotel is an ideal place to rest after tiring days of a traveling across Jordan. Bed was comfortable, bathroom with hot water and the bedroom has an air-conditioning with heater. The television was very helpful. One early morning, in our room at the 5th floor, we were awaken by a tremor. I immediately opened the TV, tuned to CNN... the epicenter of the earthquake was in Turkey... quite far.
The restaurant is not large enough to accommodate large groups at a time. They don't serve alcoholic drinks.
There is a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs, jewelries, luggages...
One morning, the road outside was covered with snow.
- Aymen (10/5): - Great place but not easy to access taxis in the area
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ok pour un 3 étoiles
Loin du centre villr
Hall à l oriental bling bling
- Diane (10/5): - Great hotel! Would stay in again. Great location
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice internal atmosphere, rooms big and good furnitured
- Zahid (8/5): Overall pleasant stay. Would book again - Friendly staff, good amenities, quiet location, clean rooms, good breakfast,
Downs:1. Our floor ( 6th) had a light sensor only at the elevator. Lights went on when exiting elevator. But when exiting room, sensor did not turn on and we had to walk in the dark.
2. Request to room service for water was acknowledged, but never received water
- Juraj (8/5): - Nice accomodation, not so far to city centre, around 3 JOD for taxi
Helpfull reception and very nice room
Very quitte location
- Paul (8/5): Nice stay 👍 - Nice hotel, great breakfast, cool pool and good restraunt.
- Alaeddin (4/5): - Arrived 8 hours before Check in time was charged for a full day . For the length of my stay at the hotel sheets were never changed . Ran out bathroom tissue at night , left the room in the morning came back in the evening and still no bathroom tissue . Called the front desk and I had to wait 15 minutes to get it. At the end I would like to thank the front desk Selena and the hotel’s driver nimer for their professionalism.
- Abed (10/5): Great value for stay - Great hotel. Quiet. Good location.very nice front desk team. Compared to top rated 5 stars hotel in Amman, Harir palace give you great value for money. Best choice for buainess stays.
- JB (10/5): Great place in a residential area. - I was pleasantly surprised by this find. I came in two hours late as my flight was so delayed. They had my reservation ready. A bit off the beaten path but very comfortable and quiet.
- mushtaq Khan (8/5): Nice Hotel - We stsyed in this hotel for 4 nights. The plus point is that the Hotel is clean with friendly staff at the front desk. The minus point is that the room service is hopeless. Whenever I called them no one picked the phone. I then had to call the front desk for help. They should improve the room service.
- fabio (4/5): - Assolutamente inesperti , colazione esclusivamente locale senza possibilità di scelta , servizio non da 4stelle , personale gentile ma un po’ inesperto Non istruito a dovere .
- Juan C (10/5): A real Palace in the suburbs - Excellent Hotel in a residential aerea, nice Lobby, interesting decoration, clean and cozy. Rooms were clean, just would consider an improvement in the restaurant staff and food, not bad, neither good, would said fair enough. A pharmacy just in front is convenient but not Restaurants around, quiet street though.
- Juan Carlos (10/5): Very nice Hotel in residential area - Quiet Hotel in residential area, nice lobby and clean rooms
- nidal (10/5): Five Nights at Harir Palace Amman - I loved the location, very convenient for shopping and business, excellent 24hr gym access, excellent food, large rooms, nicely updated, friendly and helpful staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing for the price - Everything was beyond expectation. Modern, clean, luxurious.
