- Louis (10/5): Great for visit to Hopetoun and surrounding areas. - Spacious. Clean & tidy. Friendly reception staff.
- Rayehope (10/5): Comfortable stay! I recommend - Value for money. Spacious apartments. Super easy check in instructions. Helpful staff. Kitchen available with everything you need. Plenty of blankets. Central AC system connecting all rooms. Laundry facilities. Bistro pub on site with pool table and activities for children. Playground! Food at restaurant was also great, well priced. Pool was closed for maintenance - needed chemicals. Curtains in rooms and blinds in kitchen were old and let light through. Used towels to block the light out in the morning.. Old TV, couldn't stream footy from mobile device. Only 1 gas heater in the lounge room, heat doesn't reach bedrooms.
- Susanne (9/5): Short, sharp visit but very comfortable. - We were late but after hours check in easy and simple. Tavern next door have great meals. Beds super comfy. Ensuite shower difficult to stop dripping which was a little annoying, but really it was all good.
- Philip (10/5): - Lovely property. Nice meal in the restaurant
- Brett (10/5): Convenient location - Location
- Jeff (10/5): Comfortable, convenient and enjoyable - Very quiet, local tavern with excellent beers and food Small double bed
- Daniel (8/5): - It was what we expected. TV is small, larger screen would be great.
- Robert (8/5): Pleasant enough, Could be better. - The bistro/bar next door was very handy. Able to watch an AFL game live on Fox while having a meal with wine by the glass. Most enjoyable. Friendly staff at bistro. Good family atmosphere. A bit isolated from main town centre and beaches (about 4 -5 km), Seems the majority of occupants are permanent residents, so not really a holiday resort. Most annoying was the free EV charge for guests was not available due to break down of BOTH outletsđ Very little interest from staff about when it might be repaired, So don't rely on a free rapid charge any time soon.
- Helen (9/5): Value for money and convenient for our needs - Location was good as handy and easy to access
- Hayden (7/5): -
- Geoffrey (9/5): - Very spacious house, separate kitchen, dining and living room, unsuited and main bathroom with separate toilet.
- Anna (9/5): -
- Theo Nijssen (9/5): - Nice appartment. Friendly people.
- Blake (10/5): -
- Belinda (9/5): -
- Nehrmann-Tonat (10/5): - Calm place. Everything fine.
- Reid-Dornbusch (10/5): -
- Leesa (8/5): Great short stay with all amenities available - Fully self contained cabin with 2 bathrooms. Walk to onsite tavern for meals.
- Catherine (8/5): - Perfect for our trip to Esperance
Clean and comfortable
- Roger (8/5): Excellent accommodation as a base to explore Fitzgerald National Park. - Large spacious cottage, in a large tourist park. Clean, well maintained, full kitchen. Tavern nearby (part of the same complex) for meals and drinks, clearly the major local watering hole. Quiet other than some road size, as we were in a cottage at the front adjoining the main road into Hopetoun. Nothing other than some road noise from trucks going into or out from Hopetoun - the cottage was near the road at the front of the park. This lessened in the evening.
- Jay (9/5): Great to be in Hopetoun once again.. - Clean, tidy, very spacious. Beds were comfortable with a warm doona & extra blankets if needed. Plenty of hot water & great showers. Had a smart tv but need to use your own phone as a wifi hotspot to use Netflix ( easy to set up ) Unit had a homely feel to it. Was very comfotable & good value for money.. There was damage to the curtains in kitchen, some missing & couldnt open or close properly as the twirler was missing. Had to manually use a chair..
It is hard to rate units as this unit was much better than the last unit we stayed in. Much more comfotable..& for the same price. Bit of a toss up as to what u get but hopefully next time will be as good..
- pope (5/5): Mosquito madness - Was easy to get key out of hours and location was ok Was very dated sofa was in need of replacement, light was left on outside room so was full of mosquitoes 100s of them unfortunately.
This sorta set the tone for us, first impression and all that. Done the job for one night would not do more.
- Samantha Arthy (10/5): - Felt like home Away from anythin
- Mary (7/5): Ok for a short stop over - Spacious and had washing machine. Close to main street A bit dated
- Vicki (10/5): Always easy to book, pick up keys, cleanliness and comfortable. - Location, comfort and cleanliness.
- Neville (1/5): Noisy Aircondioning next house & couldnt sleep in bed. Had to sleep on the floor in the hallway. - The House next to my room had the damn Airconditoner on Maximum high. I could not sleep at all. The noise thru the Bedroom window was terrible. I TRIED to enter another room in the house but they were LOCKED! I eventually had to pull the sheets and rugs of bed and sleep on the floor in the hallway. But couldnt sleep as the Smoke alarm kept flashing to show it is operational. I tried knocking on the door next door to tell the worker who looked like he had a work Ute if he could turn the Air cond down.. But he wouldt answer the door. Terrible experience.
- Chris (8/5): Nice large unit - Large property everything you needed to cook at home Location 2km out of town
- Collins (9/5): A great overnight stop - Organised friendly and clean Nothing
- David (8/5): NICE QUIET PLACE TO STAY -
- Natalia (6/5): -
- Clint (8/5): -
- Deb (9/5): - House was clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have drinking water on the fridge.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - We found the television controls impossible to use.
No tv was disappointing. As per above
- Jay (8/5): A pleasant place to stay to explore Hopetoun WA - Clean, tidy & very spacious. Smelt very pleasant on arrival. Slight mix up with the rooms provided but manager fixed promptly & was very polite. Really like the after hours key pick up & drop off. Kept everything very simple. Short trip to town & Fitzgerald National Park. Stayed 3 nights. Would stay again. Price is very reasonable..
P.s. Extra blankets are also provided if doona isnt warm enough.. Our unit was close to main road so traffic starts around 6am. Lots of traffic & noise. Was not expecting. No sleep in, sob sob. One of the beds was quite springy & not overly comfortable. Main toilet fan which operates when light is switched on sounded like an aeroplane taking off so i used a torch at night. It did have us both laughing though..
Tv is just a normal tv not Smart tv..
- Nerida (3/5): Akin to staying in a retirement village. - Customer service at reception was excellent, as was the food at the Bistro. Carpet, couch and bed covers were stained and smelly, felt unclean.
- Corina (9/5): Hopetoun Stay - The place was very clean and spacious. Had everything you could need.
Staff are always friendly and helpful. Sofas were uncomfortable. Starting to sink on the sides. I have a problem with my back and I could not sit on them for long.
- Barbra (9/5): Would go back again - Clean and comfortable Everything was very nice
- Olivia (5/5): -
- Blake Austin (5/5): -
- Linda (10/5): Great for one night - Big property ( although they lock rooms that you are not staying in) ie if two of you they lock two out of three of the rooms. Two bathrooms TV didnât work and no WiFi in the property only in the bar area
- Birgit (7/5): - Easy check-in (weekend, there was a lock with envelope for our check-in) Not completely clean, there were spider webs at some places in the house. And everything is kind of old and used already

- Tom (7/5): It was nice. - Nice enough place. Itâs kinda dated but itâs fine.
- Damian (10/5): -
- Robert (8/5): -
- ZHIYANG (8/5): -
- Samantha (6/5): - The convenience The toilet leaked, hot water in shower wasnât great
- Kimberley (1/5): I do not recommend a stay here! - The accommodation had enough space for a whole family. On arrival the place smelt damp. We immediately opened all the windows. The property was dirty, pubic heard on the toilet, full of bugs, most of the screens were damaged which meant we couldnât get any fresh air in. Air con is loud and doesnât really work. The staff were slow to respond online. Blamed the excessive bugs to weather. But didnât apologise for how dirty it was. There were bugs in the bed, in the bathroom everywhere. Itâs not a place to stay.
- Alessa (10/5): Enjoyed very much. I liked that it had everything including a restaurant. - Looked recently renovated. Had all the amenities & more. We only stayed one day so I didnât have any issues there.
- Andreas (2/5): - Nichts Sofa und die Stßhle waren ßbersäht mit Flecken, die Alorolläden waren kaputt, es stank extrem, Schlßssel passte nicht, in der Dusche war Schimnel, Ausstattung billig und alt
- Amanda (9/5): - Meals were great, particularly loved the Asian menu
- HIME (7/5): -
- Loreta (8/5): good - comfortable none
- Amanda (10/5): - Great service from staff, house was impeccably clean, good facilities and the food was excellent. One of the rooms had a mattress that needed replacing
- Jacqueline (6/5): - I thought the chalet village was awesome and excellently situated. The chalet (12) was a bit dirty there were lots of marks on the wall and the kitchen cutlery and plates were a bit of a mish mash. There was maintenance work being undertaken a few doors over from me on the left on Monday morning just before 8am which wasn't cool. Public holiday noise regulations state any power equipment needs to be used after 9am (!) so you might want to have a word with that person as other residents would have been disturbed but afraid to make a fuss. see above
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Harris (9/5): - Quite location Nothing
- Deepak (8/5): All good - Good Wifi
- Leon (8/5): - Teh staff were friendly and the unit was clean and comfortable. It was great to be able to have a full kitchen. The only thing I wasn't impressed by was the cleanliness of the pool, it was a warm day and I wanted to go for a quick swim to cool off but there was heaps of dirt in the pool.
- Kay (8/5): Lovely location with good facilities. - We enjoyed the evening meal, it was enormous! The accommodation was very spacious. There wasn't a hairdryer. The blinds let in too much light early in the morning which made it difficult to sleep.
- Paul (9/5): Amazingly set up and everything you need at cottage - Quiet and very comfortable Not any issue
- Chris (9/5): Excellent accommodation well suited to our needs. - Quiet location. Good facilities. Easy access and good parking. Very clean and tidy accommodation. Nothing.
- Claire (9/5): - Le calme, l accès facile, Beaucoup de vent dommage nous n avons pas pu profiter des plages.
- Fred (9/5): Itâs fine - Nice to have a warm shower and comfortable bed after a few nights of camping. Convenient location to Fitzgerald River NP. Easy to access the unit via instructions. Screens in all the windows. Have to drive to get anywhere, though not far
- Florentino (10/5): - Clean rooms and very comfortable liesure to stay:)
- Anna (2/5): -
- Laura (8/5): - Location was excellent
- Fred (8/5): Very nice overall - Friendly staff TV did not work properly
- Catherine (5/5): It was a stop we needed to break up an otherwise long travel day, best part was grabbing a nice coffee in Hopetoun when - Having three bedrooms was timely for 2 teenagers that were sick of sharing rooms in previous accommodation. While there had been some fresh paint work on the walls, and the bathrooms looked clean, the kitchen cabintry and dining table was sticky to touch and felt dirty. This wasnât helped by the stained carpet and the couches smelling of B.O
- Eamon (7/5): Drive longer away - Wave rock None
- Victoria (10/5): Comfortable - It was spacious Nothing
- Jayne (8/5): - I really liked the location - facilities around the complex eg barbecue which was clean when we needed to use. The mattress in room 1 of villa 5 was very uncomfortable, as a side sleeper I could feel springs digging into my hip.
- Ken (5/5): Unfortunately, there seemed to be an acceptance of 'near enough is good enough' about the place. - Peaceful atmosphere, most items we required were supplied. We found a worker to supply missing keys for a locked bedroom door to the house (number 45) and empty the outside wheely rubbish bin which was full and to replace a globe or two upon our arrival after office hours. We had some later issues with ant trails in the kitchen area but the insect spray provided seemed to temporarily hold their intrusion. Although the actual TV signal is quite good, the TV unit supplied had inherent tech issues and needs complete replacement. Main bathroom toilet has a broken flush button and grubby walls. Whilst we are generally tolerant of small issues in regional accommodation, unfortunately this place does need some ongoing attention in certain areas.
- Claudia (5/5): Okay - FĂźr eine Nacht in Ordnung.
Liegt direkt an der StraĂe und trotzdem ruhig Im Bad waren Spinnen, die abends raus gekommen sind.
- Rhys (9/5): -
- den Boer (7/5): Windy, neat and clean, 3x2 is nice - Well maintained
Comfortable cabin Distance from the beach
- Vanessa (8/5): -
- Kwee (10/5): Good Place for families - Big rooms, great amenities, secure and close to everything Wifi a bit short
- Charles (5/5): -
- shauna (9/5): - Nice place, location good, chalet was clean, comfortable & tidy, pub & food is great.. Close to our chalet, there was a slight smell of sewage, for a day or two, not sure if it was just beacuase of the weather..
- Peter (8/5): -
- Michael (6/5): Wavecrest welcoming gateway to Fitzgerald River National Park and comfortable stay near Hopetoun - We had a nice little 3 bedroom bungalow with ensuite, so that suited our family. The aircon was essential on our first day however the winds picked up and cooled through sufficiently that we didn't need it the next day. Close to the National Park road, a friendly little community and plenty of space. The air con was very noisy to start with, however it was only to cool it down on our arrival.
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Kurt (8/5): -
- Pauline (9/5): We enjoyed our stay & would definitely book again if we come back to Hyden - Nice, clean accommodation The Wavecrest Bar & Bistro ran out of a few of the dinner items listed on the menu. The food we did manage to order was very good though
- Gerard (8/5): -
- Steven (8/5): -
- John (9/5): -
- Timpaq (8/5): -
- Fiona (7/5): -
- Martial Georges (8/5): - Spacious 3 bedroom villas - comfortable beds, large kitchen, dinning and living room. Helpful and friendly office staff. Free parking. Pub/restaurant walking distance - good food selection.
- KEITH (8/5): -
- Walsh (8/5): - Kitchen, Bathrooms, family room, lighting and warm enough No heating in the bedroom, no wifi and the knife was dodgy. Otherwise very good stay
- Marie (7/5): Clean and comfortable - OK for one night when passing by. - Very spacious, clean, comfortable (although a little outdated) and quiet. Easy check in and out. Huge kitchen but with hardly any crockery, pots etc... to cook.
- Janet (9/5): - We loved the outlook especially watching the magnificent sunset from the front patio. The unit was roomy & clean.
- Potter (10/5): - We always come back to Wavecrest for a couple time recharge or family fishing trip. The admin staff are polite and and helpful and the accomodation is clean and functional. The tv reception is a bit hit and miss but otherwise it's always a pleasant experience.
