• Machet (7/5): Party hostel in the nature - Good value for money, the garden is really nice and the location offer a super view on the sea. The manager was nice with us and apologised after waking up Don't expect quietness in this place, it's a party hostel, perfect for young travellers, less for people who search a place to have a good rest The leaving area could be improved by being a bit cleaner or refreshed with some painting/works: it would make the place more welcoming and warm. The dormitory could be also improved (for now, it's a dormitory that can fits more than 20 persons, so it's a lot)

• Oliver (8/5): Conecting people - Si quieres o piensas estar como en un hotel de 5 estrellas,no es tu sitio indicado,pero si quieres vivir una aventura, experiencia y conexión a nivel humano,este es el sitio, súper recomendable,solo digo que pruebes y lo vivas...los voluntarios que cuidan de tu bienestar, conmigo fueron genial y ayudaron mucho,Sara en concreto tubo mucho tacto,cuidado e interés en el orden, bienestar y comunicación,limpieza y en general conmigo y el grupo,el resto también pero al no hablar yo inglés me facilito,de la misma manera que las chicas en recepción... gracias x la experiencia No me gusta vivir desde la queja,aunque creo que como adultos que sois sabéis que se pueden mejorar cosas,pero el echo de trabajar en su gran mayoría con voluntarios con o sin experiencia hace haya una parte de no profesionalidad en segun que aspectos,pero me quedo con lo vivido que es mucho y muy bueno y lo negativo se lo dejo para el que viva o quiera quejarse, gracias
• Alberto (2/5): - Esperienza mistica: se cerchi festa teenager allo sbando e sei pronto a sacrificare tutto il resto , è il posto giusto! Siamo stati poche ore (sera tardi - mattina presto) e quindi non abbiamo provato le attività proposte, ma soggiornare qui è solo per cuori forti (tipo stare nel dormitorio da 28 persone). Lo staff è composto da giovani volontari che comunque danno un buon vibe. L’ostello è praticamente autogestito

• Ruby (10/5): Fun vibes and ping pong! - Stoke Surf Hostel is an absolute gem nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Basque Country. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, social atmosphere, and fun, this is the spot! It's not a 5-star resort, but honestly, the good energy and community more than make up for it. Every day you can join in for yoga sessions, hang out with fellow travelers, and end the day with awesome communal dinners. They have a ping pong table too! Speaking of which, Anna, the hostel manager, is a legend—super friendly and always around to help out and she absolutely slays at ping pong! Don't say I didn't warn you if you challenge her ;) This is the hostel you want to go to if you're looking to make new friends and get out of the city! The rain! not the hostels fault:)

• daniel (2/5): - Intentar evitar este sitio, es una comuna que lo único que busca es surf y fiesta hasta las 5 de la mañana. Está súper sucio y las habitaciones nosotros lo cogimos para 3 y no existe. Cuando llegas te dicen que está mal y que te tienes que adaptar a lo que hay.
• Natalia (10/5): Would come back here anytime, as a solo traveler or with a group of friends !! - Super social surf camp. Great parties and atmosphere, cool activities planned most night and staff were amazing making sure I felt welcome and included. Rooms were cleaned daily and common areas were well looked after. I really loved the surfing and the instructor was brilliant. 3 meals prepared each day were an amazing bonus to my stay, the meals were very good and had great alternatives for people with intolerances and allergies making sure I didn’t have to worry about any cooking or logistics, this gave me a real opportunity to immerse myself in the surfing and the basque culture.

• Roberts (6/5): Good vibes but not the most comfortable stay. - Great staff with good energy. Good for young people who don’t mind roughing it a bit. Upbeat party atmosphere 24/7. Facilities are substandard for the price - 27 people in one cramped dorm, for example. Only 2 toilets/bathrooms for the whole hostel. Located in a town very out of the way with limited transport - luckily they offer various shuttle services but you are charged extra for them. Food was average with breakfast that would be unsatisfactory for a whole day of surfing.

• Sophie (10/5): Excellent surf and stunning place! - Absolutely welcoming staff, such a fun place to stay! Everyday something new is going on and you’re sure you’re never going to be bored. You’ll meet so many new people and make lifelong friends. The views are stunning, such a picturesque place.

From surf equipment to the staff etiquette this is a rare find when comes to hostels. Cannot recommend enough. Nothing at all comes to mind, this place is such fun to go
• Declan (10/5): Such a fun, social place, can’t wait to return - I absolutely loved my stay here. Such incredible vibes, stunning views of the countryside and the nicest people. Instantly felt at home and part of the family. All the staff were so friendly and helpful I wish I could have stayed longer but I will definitely be back.
• Oussankina (10/5): Exceptional - Coming to the surf house here was an unforgettable journey with creating memories and make surprisingly deep bonds with former strangers. I was traveling by myself around Spain as a female solo traveler and let me tell you in no other hostel it was that easy to socialize, meet people, have fun times at the beach, getting yoga classes in the mountains of a national park or even enjoy a little yoga session at the beach! The staff was creating fresh meals where the menu changes every day. I had such a great time here appreciate and thank the whole stoke gang for making my time so great! Will def be back asap It is an old farmhouse, so some facilities are a bit old, but I heard they are renovating it step by step...
• Gareth (10/5): A diamond in the rough - Exactly what I needed a fun surf camp/hostel with great people. I felt at home even though I was on my own the property is an old farm house so it has some sort of rustic vibe and surrounding area is so beautiful. Massive thank you to all the staff how welcomed me and made me feel at home. Changing my plans to come back as I had a great time. Thank you San Sebastian surf camp the little gem. The party and the unlimited drinks offer was one not to pass on. Just to say if you are expecting hotel service might not be the place for you the reviews are abit unfair as it is a hostel. • Clara (9/5): If you want to have a good time this is the place for you - - the location was absolutely beautiful - great shuffle service to the beach - the vibes are amazing - the staff is super nice and everyone makes you feel welcome - unlimited alcohol (the sangria is DELICIOUS) - the food is always freshly cooked and dinner was something to genuinely look forward to because it was always so good - the perfect mix between hostel and camp - your get surf equipment and also learn how to surf if you're a beginner - the garden! - amazing place to meet new people - the whole place is basically run by volunteers which makes it very chill - it's located on a mountain which means the view is georgeous. However, there's a small town (Aia) just a 5 minute walk where you can go to a supermarket etc. The location really is a 10/10! - If you ask you can go horseback riding (which I definitely recommend as well) - The trivia night I've seen all the negative reviews on here and I can promise you it is not like that anymore. As far as I understood the management has changed and so has the whole place. I can really only recommend this place The walls are really thin so you can hear everything... especially at night it can be a bit annoying because it's hard to go to sleep early. If you're looking for a place to get an early night, this is not the right fit for you. The whole motto of the Camp is Surf and Party and that's exactly what happens. If you want that, go there! If not, better stay away.
• Joao (10/5): An awesome backpackers place, so no luxuries - It was a surprise to find this hostel in hotels.com, since these kind of lodging usually doesn't appear on the search. First of all, this is not a place for everyone. If you like confort, cleanliness, gourmet food and having your own personal place, then this place is not for you. Having said this, I absolutely loved my weekend here! I met loads of awesome people and had a blast of a time. The free surf classes and beach time were great, the food provided was more than enough and the remote location of the house adds to the good vibes you feel when you get there. It's an asweome party place managed by young and energetic people. I was really sad I had to leave after just 2 days :(
• Verified traveler (10/5): Just wonderful! - Travelled alone and had an amazing visit! We all became lika a family at the camp, took the bus to the beach, surfed, and partied a lot in the evenings, and it was all just really fun! All meals are included which is great. Well it is a bit dirty and I slept in a dorm with 25 beds. Otherwise, wonderful!
