• Jochen (3/5): Do not book here! - The location is splendid. Close to Osaka Uemomachi. Bathroom is OK. It has good shampoo and shower gels. Definitely a No Go. Do not book here. We slept in the Japanese style room. Or I must add, hardly slept. The futons provided are totally worn down. They did not provide any support. I slept literally on the ground. The room smelled awkward, cauliflower or some kind of mold. I made a formal complaint, staff ignored me. I made a formal complaint to booking.com advocating to remove this place from their offer. It does not meet minimal standards for hygiene and customer service.

• Sian (10/5): - The location was excellent, it's close to the train station and buses. It's also very close to convenience stores and restaurants. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable. The property is spotless. There isn't anything that I don't like. But the bathroom may seem small to some people, it can get a bit cramped.

• Margaret (10/5): - We only stayed 2 nights but rooms were clean and tidy fresh towels were delivered daily we were a party of 5 with 2 over 6ft tall thought it would be tight but was pleasantly surprised only saw staff on arrival for check-in which was fine. Really close to subway and some good shops and supermarkets.

They sold a room to my friend... # 8 I think it is, and since this building is an old apt. building turned rental rooms, the hosts must live on the 7th floor... my friends room was tiny and smelled of the hosts curry dinner all night long. She was hot and very uncomfortable... and they charged almost 150.00 for that room ... not good at all

The rooms are a little humid…we saw a silverfish in our room the last night of our stay. If you’re on a budget and just need a place to lay your head and don’t mind the very limited amenities, this place will do the trick. If you have several large pieces of luggage, it’ll be a tight squeeze.

• Manon (6/5): - Personne a la réception. On a réservé un logement pour 5 y avait que 3 futons et 2 coussins pour se mettre au tour de la table. Concernant la salle de bain elle était pas propre des taches sur le mur, des poils et cheveux sur les murs. Le rideau était jaune. Le lendemain quand j’ai demandé à la dame si ils pouvaient re faire un tour de ménage dans la salle de bain elle m’a dit que ça serait fait. Seulement le soir rien n’avait était fait.

The room was slightly dusty, one of the bed was super squeaky and the toilet bowl reeks of unpleasant odour when flushed even though we cleaned and sanitized it. We had to constantly keep the toilet door closed at all times!

I'd stay there again, as it's good for business people on slightly extended business trips. Nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. It's basically an old apartment building that has been converted into a hotel. So, the stairs are outside, ie it's not like a hotel. But, to be honest, that's one of the charms!

System for cleaning, need to showing on door if we like or not for cleaning today. • CHANG (10/5): 物超所值兩大一小8天7夜^^ - 飯店提供公用微波爐真是太棒了，客房內使用黑晶爐還有抽風機很貼心，這次住了八天七夜每天晚上都使用黑晶爐煮宵夜吃，真是太棒了，還可以煮火鍋❤冰箱深度很夠，超市買回來的一堆東西都放的下唷，重點是附近有24小時超市，飯店1F有自製地圖很貼心，雖然不是飯店規模，但是我覺得可以給不只3星，床跟枕頭都軟硬適中，這次選了兩張雙人床兩大一小不擁擠不壓迫，附近有2間走路1分鐘可以到的lowson，隨時要補充糧食很方便。飯店人員check in簡單英語能溝通，網站訂房訂兩大一小但是飯店電腦顯示一大一小，即便如此，入住後立即補上備品很貼心，下次一定還會在入住。

Make sure you have Google Translate or any app for translation to communicate with them. It's a small hotel which provides a comfortable place to rest our tired bodies. Value for money. 👍

• Ka Wai Leslie (8/5): Convenient location! Suitable for budget stay! - Location is convenient as it's walking distance to subway, kintetsu, JR and airport bus! (there're also restaurants, lawsons stores, etc close by) Room is quite small for 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child) (coming from Oz, so we feel very squeezy). There're coin laundry machines located at ground floor lift lobby (but it's not the big commercial size machine, so it takes longer and costs more to dry our clothes). Not much service is required during the stay as there're not much you can do in the room. (Rooms have small elec. hot plate for simple cooking/heat up water) though. Hotel manager was very helpful. He let us store our luggage after checkout and help organise taxi pickup and load the luggage onto the taxi! Overall, not bad and I would recommend this hotel for single/couple for budget accommodation.

• Daisuke (10/5): A cheap alternative for a simple no fuss stay in O - We stayed at Hotel Cocode+ for one night as we were transmitting in Osaka. Location is ultra convenient close to Uehommachi station. The room was simple and our family of five slept comfortably in a studio like room in Japanese futons. It’s not a hotel and think of it more like an air bnb for a studio room. It more than serves its purpose. Would highly recommend for a budget traveller of five. Restaurants are convenient nearby and if you stayed for a few days there are coin laundry facilities on site.
• Betty (6/5): Cosy Apartment-Style Hotel - We arrived at the Sheraton Miyako Hotel via the airport limousine bus and we walked for about 8 mins to the hotel. The Uehommaachi subway station (on the green line) is under the Sheraton Miyako but our 2-days Osaka Amazing Pass could only be used on the pink line where Tanimachi-4 Chome is the nearest but that also made commuting easy. My family room was the only unit on the highest floor (8th) and with an open-air access to the roof-top, the cold air made our room very cold in winter. We slept on tatami but the mattress and the pillow were so flat & thin thus making sleeping uncomfortable. The toilet / bath room was so tiny. The staffs couldn’t speak English so that’s a handicap for a foreigner to communicate with them. Checking-out was simple - just drop the keys into the key-box at the small unmanned reception counter on the 1st floor. The coin-dryers next to the counter were cheap at 100yen for 10mins but they didn’t dry well enough despite that we paid for 6 rounds. We ended up hanging up and spreading the clothes in our room overnight and they were dried as we turned on the warm air on the air-conditioner. Overall the location was not bad - the subway exit 11 is the nearest to the hotel and the underground walkway connects to HiHi Town which has many eateries serving cheap and good meals. There are a few supermarkets nearby and made buying necessities a breeze.

• Idy (6/5): 如民宿一樣的酒店 - 完全沒有職員，要拿起電話找人才出來。與民宿分别就只是可提早放存行李。住了6晚全是自出自入，不過知道是有電視眼望着的，但感覺不是很好。你可選擇不執房間便沒人會進你的房，但會放毛巾和替用品在房門口，厠所實在小得可憐呢，房間清潔度還算可以。

• ellie (8/5): 房間有小廚房 帶小孩的家庭很適合 - 臨近近鐵上本町站，同時近鐵百貨的超市可以在回家時順便買隔天的早餐，附簡易小爐子及茶壺，泡牛奶方便。附近也有24hr 的便利商店，雖然會路過小鋼珠店，但是幾天下來的咸覺還不會太差，只是浴室真的很小。但是有附浴缸，小孩泡澡很開心，大人幫小孩洗澡時浴室門會關不起來.....
• RU-TING (10/5): 地理位置好 環境清幽 - 離大阪上本町車站很近，不用5分鐘的路程，地理位置很好，環境清幽，還有小小的廚房吧檯可以燒熱水泡泡麵，沖咖啡，吹風機不是連在牆壁上的那種，方便使用。缺點是隔音不好，第一晚下雨時，雨打在房子的聲響非常大聲。

• Betty (8/5): 像家的舒適住宿 - 房間很乾淨，不過可能是異國文化的關係，實在不知道他們的房間垃圾應該如何處理~ 如果有英文說明會更好。
• Lee (6/5): 房間舒適 工作人員熱情 但房間內有煙味 - 自助入住退住都方便，工作人員也很樂於幫助解決我們的需求，旅館離地鐵站很近約5分鐘，惟退住後發現衣服及行李皆是煙味。
• Verified traveler (10/5): Can't be beat for the price - I stayed at an APA hotel in roughly the same area for the same price. The APA was about 1/3 the size of this hotel though. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay this is the place for you. I actually booked another 2 nights because I enjoyed in here so much. Layout of the rooms in more in line with a Japanese apartment than a hotel. You have a hotplate, sink, fridge, and more. Staff was also amazing during my stay. Very kind and helpful. Location is also hard to beat! Right on the subway line.
