• Shelly (8/5): For the most part I had a very restful time. I liked the privacy the studio cabin offered. - Beautiful scenery and peace and quiet. There was no dish cloth or scrubber to wash dishes with so I bought my own. I probably should have asked the owner about it. I was trying to sleep in on one of the days but woke up to a lot of noise in the shipping container behind my unit.

• Steve (8/5): Comfortable, quiet, convenient and only 20 minutes from Geelong Ferry. - Facilities and layout great with privacy from adjacent cabins. Great shower and bathroom, spoacious kitchen / lounge with massive TV (didn't use it though) Microwave and airfryer in kitchen along with Electric Frypan and George Foreman Grill. Outside deck and wheelchair friendly ramp / bathroom No microwave safe bowls for cooking vegetables in mircowave, nor cooktop. Induction cooktop / a couple of smaller pots would be a nice addition to the cabin for those like us that like to cook on site. We had facilities on board vehicle to cook our meat and vegetables, so all ok for us. additional bedside table and lamps would be nice in master room.

Fridge needed adjusting as froze products on main section of fridge. Told owner about other issues. Enjoyed visit was very close to You Yangs where we enjoyed family time and close to Geelong as well. Enjoyed the wildlife reserve too!

• June (10/5): Great! We loved it. - A great location close to Melbourne airport at the end of our holiday. Accommodation was clean, great to be out of town with lovely rural views. Check in was easy and communication prior to our stay was good. A large modern cabin, warm and comfortable. I recommend it. There was nothing to dislike.

• Joanne (9/5): Great location, great cabin - When I couldn't work out how to unlock the cabin, Dean was over in a minute to help. The size, feel, cleanliness, location, comfy bed, lovely bathroom, gorgeous huge tv, in no particular order were all terrific. Only took me 5 minutes to drive into town to pick up something to eat. Slept like the proverbial log. Planning to stay again. Can't think of anything.

Woke up to sunrise through the gums to the warbling of magpies! Units staggered to ensure privacy, yet close enough to chat with your neighbours. Facilities modern, clean and comfortable. Big screen tv a bonus! Spacious rooms. Short drive to Geelong and surrounds. A fabulous place to stay.

• Belinda (10/5): - Cosy and quiet area, very peaceful stay. The cabins were bigger and nicer than I expected, had everything you need. Surrounded by horse paddocks and a great place to watch the stars at night. Loved it!
• Christine (9/5): A very comfortable stay in a beautiful modern cabin in a great location! - The cabin is beautiful - comfortable, spacious, modern and with lovely facilities. We loved the decking area with chairs at the front and the view from there towards the You Yangs Park. It is in a quiet location but close to the main road and only 5 minutes drive to the town and all amenities there. Our host, Dean, met us, lives close by and was available if we needed anything. Nothing to complain about. There was not much cutlery but that didn't matter to us as we had our own with us. The only slight problem was that the second patio door (by the bed) did not open properly and needs fixing - which would have been nice to have ventilation at night.

Happy to be able to cook after a late arrival from catching up with some friends. Outside “camp” style chairs were deteriorated though we were happy enough to sit on the step.

• Wendy (8/5): - With limited accommodation available in the area, these cabins are very welcoming, clean and convenient. Communication with the very accommodating staff was absolutely excellent. Not sure I would want a long term stay here on the outskirts of Lara but excellent and convenient for a shorter stay.
