Anne (9/5): Halte de choix dans un superbe environnement - Superbe emplacement avec vue sur lac ou forêt. Chambre vaste et lumineuse, confortable. Personnel très accueillant. Très bon repas et petit déjeuner. Des bouteilles d’eau mises à disposition. Beaucoup de calme. Juste deux suggestions : une bouilloire pour faire du thé et des serviettes plus épaisses et plus grandes.

Francesco (10/5): Excellent stay in Seengen! - Excellent hotel with a great view over the Hallwilersee. I stayed one night during a trip through Switzerland, and the room was spacious and very clean. The staff was also very nice! I would definitely come back if I happen to come to Seengen again in the future!

Robert (10/5): Lovely place for a weekend getaway - Lovely place for a weekend getaway. Peaceful and great walks as soon as you get out the door. The staff is very friendly and helpful. the room had everything a room needs. Having to state an estimated time for breakfast. When I want a relaxing weekend I don’t plan when to get up. However since the staff is so friendly (and don’t complain if you turn up +/-30min) no minus points. Plus food very good.

Karl (10/5): Traumhafte Lage am Hallwilersee - Sehr sehr gut geführtes Familienhotel. Traumhafte Lage. Sehr zuvorkommendes stehts bemühtes Personal. Komme viel herum, sehe viel und selten passt alles zusammen. Diesesmal jedoch stimmte alles, seltenheitsfall, aber es gibt es doch. Etwas Teurer, Schweiz halt, aber passt. Die Entdeckung schlecht hin, sind die in der Eigenen Konfiserie gemachten Pralinen. Natürlich werden wieder einige sagen, das und das hat mir nicht ganz gepasst, jeder hat andere Prioritäten, aber für mich war es rund und stimmig. Gratulation an die Familie Wengenmaier-Mahler!!! TOP TOP TOP
Daniel (8/5): - Ich war eine Nacht vor Ort. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Das Frühstück war lecker. Das Haus ist eher ringhöhrig und älter, ich mit 1,95cm Grösse war in der kompakten Dusche des Einzelzimmers arg an der Grenze.
caryb2013 (6/5): Nice location, friendly staff, food did not convince - We visited the place on a Sunday and didn't expect it was so crowded so we were lucky to get a table outside on their terrace. We ordered pork cutlet served with fries and veggies (CHF 31.00) meat quality was ok but unfortunately fries were not good (old oil?) and the veggies haven't been cooked at all (cauliflower raw, carrots almost raw). We also tried their vegetarian curry with rice (CHF 28.00) which looked good but taste was pale and disappointing. For desert we selected their homemade cream slice (small portion) at CHF 7.50 which indeed was very very small but taste was great. Staff was friendly. Overall the price/value ratio did not meet our expectations and we wouldn't come again on weekends as the place seem to attract lot's of families with kids and pets so not very relaxing then and staff in permanent running mode.
