Guest Reviews
- Jodie Neal (10/5): - We were thoroughly pleased with our experience and stay at Clermont. Sandra, the caretaker, was super sweet and friendly. Sandra and the owner, Ben, were very helpful with questions about the Natchez area. It was a great relaxing 10 year anniversary stay for us. We definitely will be returning.
- Verified traveler (6/5): First time B&B - A little disappointed in our stay at this Bed and Breakfast. My partner and I stayed 2 nights and were only given 2 towels. There was also only conditioner in the shower. Breakfast the first morning of our stay was tasty. The caretaker of the house banged on the door to let us know it was ready. After breakfast again just to ask if we left something in the kitchen. Then we never saw her again for the rest of the stay. A breakfast voucher was messaged to me for the second morning of our stay so I do appreciate that. As we were checking the room to make sure we werent leaving anything behind, we found a pair of a previous guests dirty underwear.
- Tearny (8/5): - Brittany was very sweet and attentive. The housekeeper needs to clean a little better. You could tell the fridge in the room hadn’t been touch as
- Steven (2/5): - Don't like Expedia, would not give me refund for cancelation. Will never book through yall again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The house was beautiful and located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by the historic cemetery. I felt like I stepped back in time. Easy and ample parking. The house was a living museum, beautifully furnished but with all the modern conveniences. Our room was immaculate and had a king size bed and a day bed and a great shower! The house was nice and cool after enduring the 90 outside temperatures all day. We had the nicest welcome and made ourselves at home. Felt very safe. Great Wi-Fi and TV selections. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was so delicious. It was nicely prepared and presented and more than enough to start the day. Fresh and hot! We really enjoyed our stay - I am sorry it was so short! Since the had so any room options, I would recommend entire families stay here together and enjoy Natchez.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a great rental in a quiet part of the south with plenty of charm. The remodeling on the house is amazing. The Staff is great and the owner is very accommodating. It is a great getaway location!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - House manager Hyder was very
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The house was so beautiful, and breakfast was delicious.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was great, and well maintained. It was very quiet, and a great view of the river from the gazebo.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful house and grounds overlooking the Mississippi River. Great breakfast. Love Mabel his dog!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very clean. The staff was super friendly. They brought breakfast each morning to our room - and it was something different but delicious every morning. The grounds were beautiful and the bluff view overlooking the Mississippi River was breathtaking. The owner, Troy, gave us tips and information on where to eat in Natchez, good places to visit, and was overall helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and may make it a yearly trip for our anniversary.
- Pamela l. (10/5): Wonderful experience. - We had such a wonderful experience with our stay. The owner/innkeeper was called away on personal business but he both phoned and texted me. He left clear instructions as to check in and a voucher for our breakfast. Our cottage room was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing...the BEST sheets ever!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a quaint cottage that was on the outskirts of town that had charm and all the necessities.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Troy was a very good host and everything was nice, clean and made for an enjoyable stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner, Troy, was amazing! Kind, genuine, personable, and overall a pleasure to meet. He gave us excellent information regarding Natchez, places to see, the best restaurants, and was very accomadating to our needs during our stay. The house was very clean, well decorated, and felt like home away from home. This was a quiet getaway to a great bed and breakfast! Food was excellent as well. My husband and I agree, this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations!
- Monie (10/5): - This was a beautiful property with great amenities. Better than a hotel stay. I would love to come back. Owner was very attentive and had great tips for things to do. Lots of historical references.
- Charles (10/5): - Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Troy was super friendly and informative and attentive.
- Robert (10/5): Up on the Bluffs - Visit to Natchez on way up the Trace to Nashville. Warm greeting, quiet place, great bed all you could ask for.
- Alysia (10/5): - This place was really a hidden gem! We had never visited the Natches Mississippi area before and didn’t know what to expect. The property sits across from the famous graveyard which is very cool to tour. Even with a pandemic there were many options for dining and all of the recommendations by Troy were spot on. Wonderful hospitality! Troy did everything to make us feel at home and even helped us with a couple of requests. Would definitely recommend!
- Aaron (10/5): - This property was amazing! Beautiful views of the “Mighty Mississippi River” and a beautiful great location. The owner was great and also made a fantastic breakfast!!!!!
-Amazing
- Kayla (10/5): Amazing! - This place is amazing!
We will definitely be staying here again, the host was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and was able to provide great recommendations.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very pretty. Maybe a little more lighting is all I can think of. Everything was just right.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The house is beautiful and is in a quite peaceful location. Troy the owner is a great host and welcoming. Breakfast is lovely and lots of tips given about restaurants and the local area. Beautiful part of the world.
- Milton (10/5): - Relaxing and quiet retreat!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clermont Bluffs is a fine example of Southern living and hospitality. The house and grounds are elegant, quiet, and well maintained. Troy, the host, is most gracious and accommodating, a treasure I'm sure. I stayed in the main house, but cottages are available as well. A nice view of the Mississippi River is to be had from the lawn and gazebo at the north edge of the property. In sum, this is a very nice place to stay and enjoy, and the prices are very reasonable. If you're going to Natchez, stay here!
- Ken (10/5): - Troy and Doug were great. They were friendly and welcoming. The house and property were beautiful. We highly recommend the accommodations and we would definitely stay here again.
- Paul (10/5): - Great breakfast and very helpful hosts
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay. The view of the Mississippi river, off the steep bluff, was breathtaking. Perfect place to watch the sun set. Gourmet breakfast and pleasant company the next morning set us off on a wonderful day of sightseeing. Hope to come back soon.
- gloria (10/5): - Great breakfast!!! Great service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay and thought the propert was beautiful. The Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend a stay here
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay over Christmas was fantastic! I’m even going to try and buy myself the same mattress :)
- John (10/5): - Troy was a wonderful host. Made us feel at home. Facility was clean, spacious. Would definitely recommend this for a stay in the Natchez MS area as it is convenient to everything. Grounds lends itself for quiet solitude (glass of bourbon on the porch).
- Brenda (8/5): - We only stayed one night. I t was a very nice experience..
Would love to go back for a longer visit. Troy was our host and he was awesome..He made our stay very pleasant.
- Jennifer (10/5): Loved it! - Our stay was wonderful! We had the cottage on the Bluff side and the room was cute, clean, and comfortable! The sheets were really comfy and soft. Troy was a wonderful host and gave us many suggestions on what to see, do, and eat in Natchez. His two pups were so adorable and sweet. The location is great as well! Very close to an interesting cemetery and a quick drive into town.
- Cindy (10/5): Contemporary amenities in an historic setting - Amazing!!! 5 stars!!! I stayed in the Garden cottage - perfect for my late arrival with its separate entrance. So comfortable!! A small space designed to feel grand - huge modern shower, premium king sized bedding and pillows, a patio to enjoy the old trees and surrounding cemetery views. Really, with the Natchez National Cemetary on two sides and the gorgeous historic Natchez City Cemetery 150 yards down the road, you couldn’t ask for a quieter setting. Host Troy was welcoming and helpful and presented a gorgeous breakfast and a great deal of local knowledge as well. They have preserved so many historic details and decorated the common areas with the usual bed and breakfast antiques, but added contemporary features o the bedrooms and bathrooms that make this place truly exceptional. I’ve included pictures of the grounds and porch - Troy’s two fine little dogs that you would never know are in residence in the private owners quarters - the lovely interior of my garden cottage room and the fanciest attic bathroom in the largest room in the house (glass door, rain shower head hanging from the ceiling and comfy modern claw foot tub with natural lighting from the old attic windows) to demonstrate the unique blend that makes this place perfect. I’m already plotting ways to return for a longer stay!!
- Mark (10/5): - My wife and I stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast for our 32nd anniversary. The owners were gracious and friendly. The room accommodations were perfect! The home sits ona high bluff with a fantastic view of the Mississippi River. The breakfast was just the right portion and fresh. Absolutely would recommend this establishment to anyone.
- Todd (10/5): - Great place with tree framed view of the river from the deck.
- Debotah (10/5): Best B&B Ever! - Amazing and breakfast was great! Tony is a very pleasant guy and we have visited many B&B this was by far the best!!
- Laura (10/5): Southern tranquillity, charm and style - A wonderful original southern property, set in a quiet and peaceful surround on the Mississippi. We had the top floor room, which was enormous, clean, had the option of two beds and came with the most stylish and well finished bathroom we have ever seen. Troy, the host, provided a wonderful homemade breakfast and even better company and tips for the rest of our journey down to New Orleans. Genuinely couldn't fault this place and wish we could have stayed another night. Will definitely be back at some point in the future.
- Julie (10/5): Great stay! - What a beautiful home! We loved Troy who treated us like royalty. Can't give this place a high enough recommendation.
- Grant (10/5): Quick Natchez Getaway - My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Clermont Bluffs. We found Troy and Doug very accommodating and our room to be immaculate. The views from the property overlooking the river are breathtaking. Our breakfast the following morning was excellent and we will be back to this B&B in the future.
- Robert P. (10/5): - A great stay at a beautiful B and B. Great Host. Interesting talks with other guests at breakfast.
- Guido (10/5): Ein Traum! - Alles perfekt! Das Zimmer, das Haus, das Frühstück, der Gastgeber - besser geht's kaum.
- Steven (10/5): Absolutely amazing! - My girlfriend and I stayed here last month as part of our roadtrip across the U.S. We stayed in many different styles of places from off the road motels to 5* resort hotels and I can safely say this was one of our fav places to stay! This B&B was the perfect mix between stepping back in time into a historical home yet feeling like you are staying in a luxurious hotel with all the modern amenities. The rooms were modern and super clean and the bathroom was significantly better than any 5*hotel (hoping to make my own bathroom as amazing as the one here!). The owners were great and the dogs adorable. If I am ever in the area again we will definitely stay there. Oh and what a fab breakfast we had there too! Thanks for a great stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Home Excellent Location - Clermont is a beautiful home that is in a excellent location. Close enough to everything to do and see in natchez but secluded enough for peace and quiet. The LARGE rooms are very clean with updated and spotless bathrooms. The hosts are warm and welcoming. They are great sources of information about the are and enthusiastically share their knowledge. This is our second visit and we will definitely be back! Thanks guys.
- celine & jose (10/5): Feeling antebellum times - Amazing place, peacefull, where you can see many birds including hummingbirds.
Inside decoration makes you feel like you are in the late 1800's.
Troy and Doug were very kind, giving all explanation about remolding house and the old stuff.
Breakfast was just awesome!
