- Benjamin (8/5): Excellent value, friendly staff. - Efficient room, love the parking situation. Comfy bed and linens. I love being able to run down the road to the Oceanside/beach! I wish the shower curtains weren’t so absorbent. The ice machine didn’t work, probably due to the time of year.
- Kathy (5/5): - The room was clean The trash around the property had trash overflowing.
The parking lot there were cigarette buttons all over the parking lot
- Craig (6/5): -
- Donna (4/5): - Staff was nice We did not get the room we reserved and paid for. False advertising, they did not have a one room suite as booked. We had a small regular room. I needed a separate bedroom for my elderly father with dementia
- Carey (1/5): When I went to check in no one was around I stood around ten plus minutes waiting. Finally a man came from out back and - Children running the place no adult to check me in a six year old and a 10 year old asked for my id not professional at all!!
- Keith (9/5): would certainly return and recommend - very clean and comfortable wifi was spotty
- Aldar (6/5): -
- Judith (4/5): - Location Seasonal Motel and should not be offered during Winter Months. Heat was inadequate for Maine weather . Also, It was not properly plowed.

- Christopher (5/5): Underwhelming to say the least. A place to sleep if you don't nub - Ease of access to the area and hotel There where no quilts or blankets. There was a sheet abs a piece of fabric as thin as the sheet that they called a quilt.
- Lisa (1/5): Advised Staff before arrival several times that my husband was handicapped. When I ch - Location Pool closed before Columbus Day, never stated. Rude ignorant Office Staff. There are a variety of places to stay available. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
- Sonia (1/5): Run-down and gross. Is not what it appears online. - When I returned my key back and check out 35 minutes after I had just checked in. The property is overall very run-down. I had a hard time opening the door to my room. The key did not turn the lock smoothly. It took me a few minutes to wiggle, shove, and jiggle the doorknob. I immediately had anxiety upon opening the door. The room was dingy, smelled weird, was old and worn, and looked dirty.
The stairs leading up to my room were squishy and the railing had wood rot. I
I tried to connect to their wifi to find another place to stay for the night. I could not connect and my data would not work on their property. I had to drive down the road to search for a new place to stay. I drove back, returned the key within 35 minutes of checking in, and said I was checking out. This was an unacceptable place to stay. Today the property called me at 1:30 because "I hadn't checked out yet". They wanted to charge me for another night. They had no idea I didn't stay the night and immediately checked out yesterday.
I stayed at a place down the road that I felt much more comfortable at for the night.
- Brigit (10/5): Pleasant - Location was near everything. Not far from beaches There was nothing I didn’t like
- Alexander (9/5): Awesome, would stay again. - Very clean. Staff was nice.
- Justine (10/5): Quaint and relaxing - Accommodated an early check in. Pool was beautiful, warm and relaxing. Nice gas fireplace. Stay was Quiet and relaxing.
- Benjamin (8/5): Stayed for one night with my service dog and we were comfortable. Great value - Great location, friendly & accommodating staff, great value, comfy & efficient room — I’ll be back
- deborah (1/5): Never stayed Place was horrible!! - Room was disgusting No heat No hot water TV difficult to use
Checked in and left Place was embarrassing!! No heat No hot water Bedsa were disgusting TV difficult to use
Would never recommend this place to anyone
Checked in and saw the room and left $124.00 wasted Never Again!!
- O'Neil (7/5): Made our NYE trip to Ogunquit very convenient! - Convenient location and our two dogs were able to stay with us. N/A
- Kathy (7/5): -
- paul (10/5): Responsive staff to all inquiries. - Comfortable and affordable
- Konstantinos (5/5): Fair accommodation, convenient location. - Everything was clean, location fine, staff very nice. Parking convenient. Heat did not work very well, so the room was cold; Internet quite spotty. Electricity went off in the bathroom -- that was just bad luck but it was inconvenient.

- Safari26459516300 (10/5): Thoughtful Touches - My travel budget the last few years has allowed a weekend stay by the water somewhere in the off season. I wish I could say I picked this place for the charm and location but it was an easy and economical option when in town for a family situation. I can honestly say I enjoyed my stay here more than when I splurged on a luxury historic hotel in the Cape. The warm welcome and thoughtful touches in the room show they really care about the guest experience.
It has all the standard amenities but the Keurig has local coffee pods instead of a Sysco brand. The curtains kept the room dark enough for a much needed afternoon nap and there's a full length mirror right by the door for last second checks. The room maintains the cozy vibe with its modern updates. It's probably minor but I even appreciated the TV, whatever they used displayed the show so I wasn't flipping through endless commercials looking for something good and even got to watch The Chair Company on HBO. I look forward to coming back sometime for a relaxing weekend!

- linda (9/5): - location is perfect. I noticed a fire safety hazard, with the heaters in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was directly above the heat which could cause a fire with the paper igniting.
- Alan (4/5): Way below budget motel standard - The location was handy. We’ve stayed in quite a few “budget” motels so know what to expect but this was definitely the worst. We arrived at 8.30pm and the office was closed (if stated 9pm on the door). The number to call when answered did not know which motel we were staying at nor our name. Someone finally answered the intercom and gave us check in instructions. When we got to the room it was basic (expected) and shabby . The bathroom window wouldn’t shut and the heating made so much noise we couldn’t use it . When we tried to have a shower the water was lukewarm - of course there was no one to report it to . I sent a message through the confirmation on the booking app - which was answered 12 hours later . We did get hot water in the morning so obviously it is a usage issue . The bed was very uncomfortable and every time we rolled over there was a huge spring noise .
- Kyle (9/5): Excellent - Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I asked about what to do within the area and they gave me several suggestions. Pool was closed but that was probably due to me being the so late in the season.
- Sheila (3/5): -
- V2297PJlaurier (10/5): Great stay in Wells - I stayed in a small cottage type room with a kitchenette. It was perfect and having the kitchenette was a nice break from take-out food. The place was very clean, quiet, and the staff extremely friendly. A real plus was the housekeeping staff came by daily to see if you needed anything. They even have a fenced pet potty area!
- Elder (8/5): -
- Amy (10/5): - Nice and quiet very nice place for the price
- Peter (6/5): Ok - but beds needed blankets not just bed spread and sheets. - Location - good price for the area. Room was cold without heater which was noisy. Lacking warm blankets.
- Lisalee (7/5): We got what we paid for. Would not pay more than $100 even during peak season to stay here - Convenient location. Needs updating. Tons of wires hanging from behind tv. Nail sticking up I. Floor on one side of the bed. Beds super firm
- Ermal (9/5): -
- john (8/5): I would stay there again -
- Nathan (10/5): - Good room. Great price
- Fannie (10/5): - It was clean and comfortable
- charlotte (8/5): - Front desk man very nice. Pet friendly. Reasonable price
- Kyle (9/5): excellent staff -
- Loecher (7/5): -
- Carol (10/5): - Comfortable pet friendly w/ helpful staff
- Angela (10/5): - Great location and a great price
- Chelsea (8/5): - Pet friendly and clean rooms
- Elder (10/5): - Very good
- Sara (10/5): - Don’t let the other reviews fool you! There are many mixed reviews on this property. But we had a WONDERFUL stay. The WiFi in our first room was having issues, and I’m an online college and needed to have WiFi. The gentlemen who works in the office, was happy to accommodate these needs of mine. He switched our room right away, to a room that had its own WiFi.
The rooms were clean, and cozy! While some of their amenities are what people would considered “outdated” you can see they are making constant improvements, and working to upgrade their property.
I can’t recommend the property enough. The staff was wonderful, property was easy to find, plenty of parking, and they are pet friendly!! We definitely stay again!
- Pamela (10/5): - Everything was great. We will definitely stay here again. When In the area
- thomascU3594UX (8/5): Decent, basic place to stay - Decent budget-friendly hotel. Room & bathroom fixtures were clean, shower water pressure was great, king bed was comfortable. The room smelled musty, however. Kind & helpful woman in front office. Good location. Great breakfast place next door.
- Mary (8/5): -
- Mattson (6/5): - Location and nice size refrigerator. Bed was comfortable The bathroom sink is very small. No place to put anything
- Taylor (9/5): - Room was clean and very easy to access. We had trouble with the tv
- Kimberly (4/5): - The hotel room was extremely dirty and smelled like smoke.
- Michael (6/5): - They just folded up the used wet towels and hung them up so we had musty wet towels the next day
- Leann (6/5): Pleasant trip, decent accommodations. -
- Victor (10/5): - Nice hotel, great location. Easy check in/out process. Lots of things on the property for kids to do
- Frederic (6/5): -
- Alyssa (8/5): - It was very clean, friendly staff and great location. Nice hot showers The milk weed plants in front of the rooms are very over grown which attracts alot of flies.
- T9409LUcarolinec (2/5): Looks NOTHING like the pictures. - The whole place is shabby, rusty and crocked or run down. The outside chairs are all missing parts. No screens or broken screens in windows or doors. Smashed places on the walls and in the shower. The grass is yellow, I know the summer was dry but please water the plants. Some places it's just dirt. The very very thin bedspread feels like cardboard and is not cosy at all. We went to Target to purchase a comforter. All the wires from the tv just hang. The chair we were sitting on fell apart. The lighting is awful and the couch is very very cheap. No iron or ironing board. The whole place needs A LOT of updating. Felt like the Bates Motel. It's not a place you want to come back to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I came here twice more than ten years ago and while it wasn’t luxurious it was well kept. The pictures are old and I looked at 4 different rooms which were all the same. We paid tu ne upgraded to a suite. While more spacious it looked like a dump. The staff was very nice though.
- Ricki (6/5): Couples trip to Wells! - We enjoyed the location of the motel. Overall, the motel was clean and the employees were friendly! The bed was not very comfortable, and the worst part was the internet! We didn’t have great service in the area and couldn’t connect to the WiFi almost the entire time. That was the biggest downfall since we had family to connect with outside of Maine. Overall, it was a fairly good stay.
- karl (4/5): - Terrible bedding. Plastic rubber bed spread Loud. No screen on window. Air conditioner filled with MOLD!!! Front grates of AC were dirty.
- W8167FVjeant (10/5): Excellent!! - Nice location with a pool to relax by after the beach. Met some nice people traveling to other places.
The staff is very accommodating and very nice.
- Serguei (8/5): - Very good motel
- Jeanette (1/5): It was a stressful and unsatisfying stay, I will never.-book again at this hotel This is the big and the room with s - Location The room was not what we paid for and the roach we found with the dishes, the fact that additional family had to change their plans and we are still waiting for the refund for payment and the compensation for the unclean room
- LIBISZEWSKI (3/5): - Dirty, no staff to check us in. Had to wait 30min for someone to get to the office.
- Angela (6/5): - We found the bed very uncomfortable and the door to room glass panels at night outside lighting shining right in adding to no sleep to bright. Bathroom door didnt close properly. Sitting outside room next door all we could smell is cigarette smoke so went inside.
- Samuel (6/5): - The room itself was fine -- good bed, clean, all the necessary amenities. The property could use a little more attention in terms of appearance/landscaping. But as far as a room and bed, it worked.
- karen (8/5): -
- Nikolaus (8/5): - Nice pool
- Danielle (10/5): -
- froebel (8/5): It was good could have been better - Pool location I didn’t get the room I asked for
- Doug (10/5): - Easy parking and great location.
- G (7/5): -
- Lynn (8/5): Great value if you’re not too picky. - The property was centrally located near a couple of beaches. The pool was clean and well kept. The parking outside our room was very convenient. The room was a bit dated and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. We used the pull out couch and it definitely could have used a good cleaning. It was very hard getting up & down the stairs to our room because there was no railing. That was the major downfall. There were also cigarette butts left all around outside by our room.
- chansorphea (8/5): - I like the room itself and the property however this hotel does not have wifi. Even though its says there is wifi and password was provided but it’s invalid or just not connected.
- Amy (8/5): - Very clean & updated. Bed could have been more comfortable for a king.
- M1102HTkathleenb (10/5): Thank you - A good place to stay. Clean. Friendly. We like that we can cook on the grill. The pool was a nice treat. Thank you, we will be back.
- Ashley (8/5): - It was close to everything we needed.
- Peter (10/5): -
- Alyssa (2/5): - Disgusting. My mother in law had bed bugs and we had a leak in our bathroom, they only refunded half of the money
- Helen (8/5): - The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We didn’t spend much time in the room so the price was great! Drawback is that we had to drive everywhere and pay really expensive parking fees. Not the hotel’s problem but it would cause me to go elsewhere next time.
- AnneMarie (2/5): Don’t do it! - Pictures lie. Upon entering the dingy porch area with peeling paint we found an equally disgusting old furnitured room, greasy appliances, 1/2 painted old bathroom vanity. We had to leave as we were afraid of bedbugs and safety. Our toddlers were looking forward to a playground and pool. The “playground “ was literally a small plastic slide and baby swing. Patrons were sitting outside the pool area smoking so we did not even try to go there. Truly disgusting and disappointing. Just hoping for a refund as we have always previously trusted this site .
- jeannerT41FZ (8/5): Satisfied Stay - Our stay here was enjoyable and comfortable. Had kitchenette accommodations w/nice little screened in porch. Everything was in working order and most importantly, clean! Legs on the kitchen table were lose when we arrived but management came quickly to fix that. They were most friendly and helpful, showed us how to operate the TV's and allowed us 3 parking places. Would stay here again.
- Brian (10/5): - Great
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ne’r Beach Motel Review - The area is fantastic, plenty to do and eat. The motel was fine but the bed was uncomfortable and felt like sand under the sheet. Room was clean, bathroom had a bad shower head and the pipe was loose and wobbled. We stayed in room 10. I would look elsewhere if you want a good nights sleep.
- Tina (10/5): - House keeping can be better. We did find cobwebs behind doors and windowsills and chips on floor. My daughter always carries cleaning products just for this type of thing. Other then that a great family place to stay. I would stay again
