Сами завтраки тоже замечательные!Приветливый и отзывчивый персонал. Единственный неприятный нюанс,часто в комнате пахло канализацией,возможно, потому,что здание старинное и коммуникации тоже.Это ,конечно, огорчало,но положительных эмоций намного больше, поэтому впечатление со знаком плюс.

- Rita (5/5): Pas reposant. - C’est un endroit qui a du caractère. Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, c’est difficile de monter vos bagages dans les escaliers. Pendant le petit déjeuner, qui a lieu au deuxième étage, il n’y a personne à la réception, celle-ci est fermée. Je suis arrivée à 10h45 et il n’y avait personne pour m’ouvrir. J’étais seule et pendant la nuit la lumière de la chambre s’est allumée sans mon intervention, très étrange comme événement. Comme ma chambre se trouvait au 1ère étage j’entendais le bruit des talons des gens qui prenaient le déjeuner au 2eme étage.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff was fantastic. It was like staying in someone’s house. All the little rooms were unique. The balcony is a nice touch. The bedrooms were so cute, small. The outdoor garden patio is adorable for breakfast. Location is amazing! Right around the corner from tram 28 and up the street from pink street. Right next door is a fire/rescue and I got to repel down the building with them when they were practicing rescue. We missed breakfast due to our farewell train, and the staff prepared breakfast to go for us! The carpets in the main areas need to be replaced. Rooms are very small and they need a safe.

- Lea (1/5): - Location was great in the city centre. My room was tiny and had a double bed in it. There is no way two people could use this room, so why have a double bed? In addition I could hear all the noise above me, people just walking around. There is no noise insulation. I could hear does closing down the hallway. In addition, I could not have breakfast at the hotel as it does not start until 8am...this is late compared to other hotels. I was offered a packed breakfast but this was awful...a dry sandwich and a pear and a juice. This stay was so disappointing 😞. Never again.

- James (8/5): Lovely property but customer service and sound insulation need improving. - Lovely building with great decoration and excellent breakfast. Located in a central but relatively quiet location. Zero sound insulation so you could hear everything happening inside the building. Check in was awkward at the other property and members of staff were tricky to find during the stay. Fridge in the room was too small and there wasnt enough storage for 2 people.
- Geula (9/5): I would love to come again - This boutique hotel is located in the heart of the city, if you open the window you immediately immerse into the vibe. And if you close it, you get the quietness because there is good noise isolation. The room is spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The shower is great, and the bath even better:) All floors are full of art peaces, the building itself is a trip. Good coffee, great tea!

Also complementary wine on the third floor. The beds were very, very comfortable. Down pillows. Very, very nice staff. Location perfect!!!

- Marie-Luise (8/5): Ästhetisch und nah am Geschehen - Das Frühstück und das Personal waren ausgezeichnet. Beim Frühstück gab es eine gute Auswahl an Süß, salzig, frisch und fruchtig. Die Dekorationen und Ästhetik des Hotels sind unschlagbar. Am schönsten fand ich die Artist Residency, wo man ein Glas Wein aufs Haus genießen konnte und sich mit Feder und Tinte, unter einem Meer von Blumen, im Gästebuch verewigen konnte. Es wurde so viel Liebe in dieses Hotel gesteckt. Ich würde es jedem weiter empfehlen für einen kurzen Städtetrip nach Lissabon. Das Haus/Hotel sind sehr alt, dementsprechend knarrt der Boden. Wirkliche Ruhe hatte ich in der Nacht nicht. Man hört die Nachbarn nachhause kommen und ab morgens um 8 Uhr, fallen reihenweise die Türen in die Schlösser wenn andere Gäste zum Hotel gehen. Da ich nur für eine Nacht da war, hat mich das nicht weiter gestört. Für mehrere Tage würde ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen, da es mir persönlich zu laut/unruhig wäre. Zudem war das Zimmer wirklich sehr klein. Möglich, dass es nur für eine Person war. Für 2 wäre es für längere Zeit viel zu klein.

The excellent breakfast with such an extensive buffet. The lack of an escalator although we understood the reason and the concierge was very helpful with the luggage.

- Marion (9/5): Tolle Location, tolle Lage, super Aufenthalt - Das ganze Hotel ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Große Räume mit hohen Wänden liebevoll dekoriert und für die Gäste zugänglich. Die Lage war für uns optimal, in Lissabon muss man gut zu Fuß sein, insofern kein Problem. Auch spätes Check-In ist möglich, wir mussten unseren Schlüssel in einem anderen Haus abholen. Das Frühstück ist super, es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an allem was das Herz begeht. Und wenn das Wetter schön ist genießt man das Frühstück auf der blumigen Terasse. Zu Mitarbeitenden hatten wir wenig Kontakt, sie waren freundlich. Einen 23kg schweren Koffer durch das Treppenhaus in die 3. Etage zu schleppen ist mühsam. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, es war sogar noch ein drittes Bett im Zimmer. Dafür was das Badezimmer riesig. Leider hat es aus dem Abfuss im Bad sehr schlecht gerochen.

The room size was very comfortable, with high ceilings that added a sense of elegance and space. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel is perfectly located in a central area, making it very convenient to reach the main tourist attractions. The decoration throughout the property is absolutely stunning, with great attention to detail. The breakfast experience was outstanding—not only was there a wide variety of delicious options, but each breakfast room had its own beautifully designed atmosphere. A truly unique highlight was the live piano music every morning at 8:30, which created a magical and unforgettable start to the day. On the downside, as this is a historic building, there is no elevator, which can be inconvenient. However, the staff is very helpful and assists with carrying luggage. Additionally, there is no heating in the bathroom, so towels do not dry properly; we had to request fresh towels every day. Another point to consider is that the rooms do not have blackout curtains, which may make it slightly difficult to fall asleep for guests who are sensitive to light.

- Amandine (7/5): Décoration sympa et convenable pour un court séjour - L'emplacement, la décoration et le personnel super sympa. Je suis assez pointilleuse, et c'est vrai que j'ai trouvé quelques défauts désagréables (brosses à toilette pas propre, tâches sur le coussin de décoration). De plus, étant un établissement ancien, nous ne pouvons pas fermer correctement la porte de la chambre ce qui fait que la lumière du corridor, traverse les portes le soir. Il faut aussi savoir qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur donc c'est en tout cas deux étages pour atteindre la réception et trois pour les chambres. Lorsqu'on arrive, ce n'est d'ailleurs pas instinctif de comprendre qu'on doit monter pour trouver quelqu'un pour nous accueillir. Néanmoins, au vue de l'emplacement et pour un court séjour n'étant pas des défauts catastrophiques, je reviendrai probablement!

Breakfasts were outstanding! Everything was wonderful especially the pretty music often heard from the drawing room. I wish you had an elevator and a restaurant or light offerings via room service.
