• vivian (9/5): Uitstekende lokatie en ruime woning met alle gemakken. - lokatie was uitstekend, zeer dichtbij het levendige centrum en toch in een heel rustig straatje; tot onze verbazing werd elke dag schoongemaakt en de handdoeken vernieuwd (was qua milieu overwegingen niet nodig). Douche was uitstekend. een balkon was fijn geweest; de kranen in badkamer en keuken zijn wel aan vervanging toe.

• Ivet (9/5): Overall it was great, the communication with the host is perfect, they are extremely nice and had left us some complimen - The location is literally perfect and that is what makes this apartment a good deal. The street is so beautiful and quiet but at the same time next to the perfect center and near the sea. In front of the entrance is the Basilica of our Lady of Mount Carmel. The apartment is on the ground floor but it feels like you’re in a high humidity basement. It smells a bit and everything is kinda humid. There is no sunlight and the signal is not good.

• Lloyd (8/5): The apartment was clean and tidy with all appliances that you need, The Apartment is a 2 minute walk from the centre of - The location was fantastic, The room was spotless with the towels being changed daily 👍 There was a drainage type smell as you opened the main door and the door to the apartment
• Ruth (9/5): Fabulous place to stay, has all amenities, lovely bright decor. - Location the best, just behind Cathedral, easy entry access, lovely front entry with lift. Fully equiped kitchen, jug and toaster along with coffee maker. Crisp white sheets comfy beds and pillows.. lovely colourful decor, everything in photos are exact. Nice sofa and small table and chairs..good shower. Hist if property very obliging to some of our requests, as with housekeeper. Nothing to dislike, welcome pack of coffee pods are limited, we asked for more, host very obliging. Towels are a little heavy and have lost their fluffy and whiteness, probably need replacing. Due to older style building limited light through door.
• Rebecca (7/5): - The location was great. The property was nicely furnished and comfortable. The hosts were great. The outside seating space is basically within the lift shaft. The lift is glass and means that people in the lift can look inside the room. With the room being on the ground floor, there is quite a bit of damp. This appears very common for the area, but did mean that it smelt of damp.

• World Wanderer 888 (9/5): Best location and a well appointed apartment - The location is great: 15-min walk to St George Square and Harbor. Very close to busy restaurants on Old Theater Street, however you do not hear street noise inside apartment. As a solo woman traveler I felt safe in the neighborhood. Hosts Richard and Cliff thought of everything including one outlet for Type C plug and ironing equipment. The bed is very comfortable. I enjoyed my 6 days in second floor apt and I recommend. Daylight is quite limited inside the apartment at any hour. (I stayed in mid October)

It was a bit dark, but there is really nothing that can be done to lighten up the apartment because it is on the ground floor. The water pressure in the shower could have been a little more powerful. Perhaps people in other apartments were using their shower at the same time I was takin my shower.

• Annerose (8/5): Für meinen Kurzbesuch war die Unterkunft völlig ausreichend und ok. - Die Unterkunft entsprach der Abbildung. Da es sich um eine FeWo handelte, kein Frühstück. Die Lage war optimal, wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt, und vor allem ruhig. Da es sich um eine Wohnung im Erdgeschoß eines alten maltesischen Hauses handelte, gab es nur eine kleine Terrassentüre zum Patio, die Wohnung war entsprechend dunkel. Für eine Nacht war es ok, für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich mir mehr Tageslicht wünschen.

• Steven (10/5): Fantastic space in the heart of the city! An ideal Malta base. - Fantastic location in the heart of the city, close walking distance to attractions, restaurants and bars. A very comfortable apartment, plenty of space to unpack and settle in. Hosts were communicative and available.
• Benedict (5/5): Superb location, but bad damp and dark - Excellent location, perfect for seeing Malta and Valetta. A very short walk to attractions and nice restaurants, and quiet. Strong smell of damp throughout. Host was responsive but had no alternative accommodation available. Accommodation is dark with minimal natural light, some people may not like this.

• Alice (8/5): Very good - We really liked how spacious and tidy it was. We also appreciated how easy it was to check in as well as all the information provided to us before hand. Bathroom toiletries we lovely. The only thing we would've appreciated was a little warning around the bells of the basillica- we appreciate this isn't the fault of the owners but it did take us by surprise. It would have been a lovely additional extra to have enough tea/ coffee for the duration of our stay.

• Μυρτω (8/5): very good stay, given the local architectural constraints, it’s a great place - quiet, interior design the pictures showing a wide balcony door are misleading (it is rather an optical effect, showing the double bed too short and the door too wide). In reality, there is a much narrower door, bringing light from the light guide of the building. However, the lack of sunlight is counterbalanced by the nice, colorful and comfortable interior.

• Beverley (6/5): - We liked the lift! And We liked the spaciousness. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We didn’t like the musty smells and lack of fresh air. The windows opened onto the area where the lift well was and there was no direct sunlight. We thought this was why the apartment smelt. Understandable it’s an old building but we have stayed in old buildings in Valletta and not had this problem. Suggest the owner needs to do a deep clean and install fans for better ventilation.
• Alex (10/5): - I stayed here for one night only as I was passing through Valetta on my last night in Malta and must say I was very impressed. Communication with the host was extremely easy and they allowed bags to be stored even after checkout. The property was in a great location near the centre of Valetta with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, with the room itself very large in size and even came with a seperate living space. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Malta's capital city once more.

There was also daily housekeeping and as a bonus a PLUG ADAPTER that was really helpful! As I am getting older I am paying a little bit more attention to comfy beds and pillows! I am sure they will take care of it!

• Omar (10/5): Stay here! - Extremely well located and super easy to communicate with the property manager. This place has everything you need and more may that be a short or long stay. Very centrally located and easy to walk to any of the major attractions in Valletta.

The owner was easily contactable and very helpful. The room was semi-serviced daily. Nothing to fault in our 3 night stay.

Being an older property, the interior was a little dark, and there is no outside view except a small inner courtyard containing the lift.

• Patricia (10/5): Comfortable, in a great location. - The apartment is spacious and well equipped. It's in a quiet street, but within 5 minutes walking up to the busier area. The owner communicated the entry instructions very clearly, and was also very quick to answer any queries. We liked the addition of beach towels - very useful. There was information about the theatre, which is just round the corner, so we booked to see a concert. The shop next door provided basics and we used the Spar for the other foodstuffs. The bathroom towels were replaced everyday. I would have preferred an option that let us choose if we wanted that service or not.
• Raeburn (9/5): A lovely place to stay! - The location was perfect right in the centre. Comfy bed. Towels changed regularly. Room sizes good. Decor lovely. Staff attentive and friendly, saw briefly most days. The mugs needed replacing....cracked glaze. A new bathroom bin needed as pedal didn't work.

• Francesca (8/5): Great stay - Great location in Valletta. The flat is well equipped in a typical maltese building. Comfy bed and nice decor. Good communication with the staff, easy check in. We stayed in the second floor apartment, the amount of natural light / natural ventilation was not optimal, since the windows are opening in an internal courtyard, but this seems a pretty common thing for flats in Valletta in old buildings.
• Ellen (10/5): - A delightful apartment in the heart of old town Valletta. Close to everything and yet peaceful. The apartment exceeded all expectations, it was spacious, comfortably, beautifully fitted out and clean. There was no noise and when the air conditioning was on a respite from the summer heat… and yet in the evening I could turn the air conditioning off, open the window and enjoy the evening air… without any noise. The little shop next door had your basics, and many many restaurants were literally round the corner. Likewise much of what Valletta had to offer was within easy walking distance… in short I loved it!

It's only 5 minutes walk from the centre and even less to some local grocery shops. There is a nearby cafe which is great for breakfast. Plenty of space in the apartment and great air con. Comfy bed and pillows. Nicely styled apartment and well serviced. For a lovely old building, it's being kept in good condition. It met the expectations I had. The apartment was exactly what we needed - safe, provided comfortable bed to sleep and was used as our base when not out exploring. In my opinion, the terrace isn't usable and perhaps could be better used with plant life, real flowers etc.
