• Natarajan (9/5): - The staff were very attentive and excellent. Went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I had to take my mother to a clinic in the morning due to her health reasons. They tried everything at their disposal to help me, guide the driver,pack ker some lunch as we are trying to hear back capital for flight.. special mentions to Mr. Thilak who made us feel like we were privileged guests. Their staff Paul and Kiruba also were very helpful and supportive. Nothing much.. other than recently damaged roads to the property..

Im Lobbybereich lässt es sich wunderbar entspannen. Das Personal gab viele nützliche Empfehlungen vor Ort. Frühstück war lecker, im Empfangsbereich gab es Tee, und das indische Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind schön, gut ausgestattet, mit großem, bequemem Bett. Stromausfall und nicht ausreichend heißes Wasser im Badezimmer trübten den Aufenthalt etwas.

• Friščić (9/5): - The staff were very kind and very friendly. The room wasn’t luxurious, but for the one night we stayed, it had everything we needed. The only downside was the smell of dampness in the room. The breakfast was plentiful, and the view of the lake from the lounge was beautiful. The location is a bit far from the center, but that didn’t bother us.

La façade n’est plus aussi blanche que sur les photos . Je pense qu’un bon gros rafraîchissement s’impose. Dommage car l’emplacement et la.vue sont vraiment supert.

Het eerste yoghurtje wat ik tegenkwam tijdens onze reis. De kou, maar dat is hier normaal. Dus ik moet niet zeuren haha. Verder alles oké

• Robin (8/5): - Thilak was outstanding as a host. Very kind, informative and funny - a really nice guy. Thilak was very quick to sort out my wife's broken phone charging lead. The view from the hotel was stunning. Super breakfast. We had western breakfast one day and then a terrific Sri Lankan breakfast the next day. The attic room is quite noisy when very windy.

Temperatuur was binnen hetzelfde als buiten en dat was toen wij er waren 16 graden. Dit zorgde echt voor een mindere ervaring. We hebben de super lieve host verteld dat hij iets met heaters moest doen. Hij vond het een goede tip. Hopelijk doet hij er ook iets mee.

• Prabodha (6/5): Cheap place if you are willing to compromise - It was cheap and close to the Nuwaraeliya town Room was smelly as the carpets were kind of old. Curtains were not washed recently and so they were smelly as well. there were some flys inside the room. No temperature control in the room. For breakfast, there is no buffet. its just the owner/keeper of the place cooking for you and making eggs/omlet/pan cakes or fruits. There was not even tea or coffee offered as buffet here. I had to ask for tea and they brought for us. There is instant coffee in the room if you are okay with it( I was not okay with that). The location was challenging to get to as its located in a steep hill with just two parking spots at the location. I was driving a small care I borrowed and so it was not too hard to park. But a larger vehicle may struggle.

• Clare (8/5): Beautiful and comfortable place, a bit out of the way - The staff here were really friendly and we enjoyed a warm welcome with the delicious black tea and biscuits others have mentioned, along with interesting conversations throughout. We chose this accommodation for the views and they did not disappoint - the clouds tended to roll in around lunchtime, so worth getting up early to enjoy the breakfast and make the most of the day. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a small lounge area in the picture window. Staff were helpful recommending sightseeing options, organising taxis and restaurant suggestions... we really enjoyed their local Indian restaurant that seemed full of their guests! (Take a torch for the walk home.) It was a bit chilly when we were there and we could have done without the cold shower and lack of hairdryer in the room! While very scenic, the location was a bit out of the way from the main part of town and up a very steep hill, so not the most convenient.

• Dinusha (2/5): Rooms are in very bad conditions and electrical fire hazard. Pictures in Booking.com are very mislea - The location, lake view, and good size of the room for a family The room was in an appalling state – water was literally coming in through the windows and even seeping from the pillars. The windows were clearly not sealed properly, which led to the floor being soaked. The carpets were wet, stained and smelled damp, and parts of the room were completely flooded. Our luggage got soaked from the water, which was extremely frustrating. The electrical wiring in the room looked unsafe, with exposed wires on the table lamp – a serious fire hazard. The breakfast was bit disappointment – poorly organized, very limited options, and it took an unreasonably long time to be prepared.
