• VALENTINA (8/5): Ottimo hotel con qualche piccolo difetto - Hotel in posizione perfetta, accanto al parcheggio centrale. La nostra camera era all'ultimo piano, spaziosa e con terrazzino, ma essendo fuori molto caldo avremmo gradito che l'aria condizionata fosse già accesa invece in camera era parecchio caldo. Colazione ottima servita anche all'esterno nel giardino sul fiume, molto bello. Cose che migliorerei: manca il frigobar in questo tipo di camera ed è indispensabile per un 4 stelle, bagno grande si potrebbe mettere qualche appoggio in piu, indicare meglio che si possono ordinare le uova a colazione (per esempio mettere un piccolo menu) perche non si capisce cosa si puo ordinare esattamente (solo uova o uova con bacon ecc). Hotel consigliato.

• Remo (10/5): Tolles Hotel - Wir hatten ein grosszügiges und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet liess keine Wünsche offen, es gar für Jeden etwas. Die Brotauswahl war super. Auch das Personal im Restaurant war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

We asked for changing the room but were told hotel was full and then they didn’t have any follow up. Other than this hotel was at good location. Sauna im Untergeschoss wird wenig genutzt ist aber sehr schön und wird auf Anfrage angestellt

• Man Piu (8/5): - Clean and pleasant with excellent staff. The room with the river view is slightly pricey. Amenities are minimal for a hotel at this price point. The hotel could not provide me toothpaste and there is no kettle in the room. It is somewhat inconvenient to go to the reception to have hot water prepared for you by the staff at the front desk. I like however the fruit bowl they have in the lobby.

• Naomi (6/5): Management is lacking kindness - The rooms are comfortable. The location is great. The service was not great. We ended up having to pay for a second night of car garage without being told the rules about when we needed to return the key for the garage. It was a simple misunderstanding that they refused to acknowledge or accept. It is the simple things that make a difference and make me want to return to a hotel. They were not accommodating, understanding, or honest in the transaction.

Und jetzt das RIESIGE Manko, welches mich künftig trotz der zuvor beschriebenen Vorzüge nicht mehr hier übernachten lässt: Der Straßenlärm, welcher die ganze Nacht unablässig in das Zimmer tönte, war trotz der Seitenlage unerträglich!. Nächtliche Kneipenschwärmer!?, für die das Hotel ja nichts kann, die mich aber bis in die Morgenstunden lauthals begleiteten. Fazit: tolles Hotel - aber nicht für mich! Sehr, sehr schade

I had a small room and comfortable bed with a very nice bathroom, free water, hair dryer and anything one needs. The selection for breakfast was pretty good.

• Friedrich (10/5): Boutique-Hotel mit authentischem Charakter - Geschmackvoll renoviertes und ansprechendes stilvoll eingerichtetes Boutique-Hotel mit authentischem Charakter. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, eingebettet in einem pittoresken baulichem Ensemble und in unmittelbar zum Neckar, in einer weitestgehenden natürlichen Flusslandschaft. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das liebevoll zusammengestellte Frühstücksbuffet mit vielfältiger Auswahl. Der freundliche Service im ganzen Haus, sowohl beim Frühstück als auch an der Rezeption verleiht dem Hotel eine persönliche Note. Ich habe mich an den drei Tagen meines Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt und werde bestimmt wiederkommen.

The restaurant was great, however make sure that you have euros or German EC card as payment can be difficult. There is no free car park on site, despite it's shown on the pictures. Extra cost per night 10~12€

• Michael (10/5): Pleasant hotel near train station & downtown - Very comfortable mid-sized hotel close to the center of Tübingen. The room and bathroom are spacious and the single bed is wide enough (sort of between full and queen size) to please American sleep standards. Trust me, as a 6'2" tall person I had my share of 80-90cm wide beds, and they are horrible! The breakfast was a Covid19-adjusted buffet with a good selection of breakfast rolls and bread. Since the weather was warm, breakfasts could be taken on a large outdoor patio with nice views of the river Neckar and the picturesque downtown across the Neckarbrücke. Reception and service personnel are trilingual (German, English, French) at least and very pleasant. The reception area also has a coffee bar and a bar area. Rooms can be reached by elevator.
• Jason (8/5): Modern beautiful hotel and excellent location - Situated on the river bank this hotel offers excellent river views and is walking distance to the town centre. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was a little disappointing due to limited choice and everything packed into small portions, but this is more than likely due to covid and it’s best to be safe than sorry. Would stay again.

Staff recommended a great restaurant to walk to for dinner, and were overall friendly & helpful. Will stay again next time I go to Tübingen.
• VisitingProf (8/5): - I had previously stayed at Domizil and they have clearly made lots of upgrades. Rooms are much better as is the lobby. Service depended on who was on staff. While the venue for the breakfast buffet has been substantially improved, the food could be a bit better.

• David (6/5): - This hotel should be a 3 start instead of a 4 star. Everything is OK and of average quality. Rooms are clean and nice. However, there is a problem. This hotel has 3 buildings. The 2nd building is currently under renovation. When we checked in, they sent us to a room in the 3rd building. The inside of the building is very dirty, the room is dirty, and the curtain is broken. We complained and they sent us to another room in building ONE and that room was fine. The problem with this hotel is they they should not sent their clients to a building that is substantially below standard and expect to charge the same rate. The 3rd building is substantially below standard and the hotel should stop sending clients to this dirty building!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Central location but no internet in room - Stayed for 4 night for a conference. Hotel is certainly centrally located. If you have a chance, request a room facing the river, not the street, which can be noisy (was on first floor toward the street). Rooms were clean, German beds are rather narrow. The main thing that was terrible and an utter waste of time was that they were unable to get the internet to work in the room and that they have the most archaic log in procedure. Endless discussions with the front staff about the issue but nothing changed. For holidays, great, for a work trip a gigantic nuisance.

• Russell (6/5): Be sure to get a river-side room - The location of the hotel is great - but for its placement between two bars. If you book a room, GET ONE ON THE RIVER SIDE of the building - nothing worse than loud drunks yelling at one another until 3 am, the sound bouncing off the cobblestone streets and the concrete buildings.

• Kristen (8/5): - The location was great - had a nice view of the river. The hotel itself was a little older than what I expected. Rooms had a funny smell to them, but they were clean. The bed was a little hard. WiFi was a little tricky to use. If you had more than one person using WiFi you had to get a different username and password to use it.
• Ed (6/5): Room temperature in winter. - OK place, probably better than most in area. Room on small side but clean. Staff good. Expedia did not send them my reservation they said, but they honored it anyway. In the evenings the room would get very warm. I complained to the front desk. The answer was to regulate room temperature by how far you opened the window, so the area by the window might be cold while the rest of the room would be OK and it would change. Nice that it is close to parking garage.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Wonderful location in central Tübingen. - The hotel is right on the Nekar river across the water from the old city. The location is perfect for access to the old town, university, boat rentals, restaurants and night life. Parking is at the public garage next door or one of the hen few spots in the narrow street in front of the hotel. The front desk can sell you an unlimited in-out pass for the garage. The staff are at minimum bilingual in German and English in my experience. Overall the room was comfortable and laege for a Euro hotel, though the style, fixtures and bed were somewhat dated. My room had a balcony overlooking the alley, which brought in night sounds from the bars - it’s in the center of a college town, that was to be expected.
• Diane (10/5): Great location - This hotel has a great location! It is right on the Necker and just across the bridge from Tubingen. It was quiet but, in a lively location. We could walk to the downtown area easily. Breakfast was good and the room was large.
