• Colin (10/5): A beautiful, peaceful place to stay with genuinely thoughtful hosts who could not have been kinder. - We stayed at Villa Rozenhof whilst visiting family in difficult circumstances, and Rob and Alita could not have been kinder hosts. We had travelled to the Netherlands to see an uncle who had become seriously ill. After checking in, we immediately made a dash to see him, but sadly arrived around two hours too late. When we returned to the accommodation, Rob asked how everything had gone, and when we explained the situation both he and Alita showed genuine warmth, compassion and respect. It was very thoughtful and much appreciated at a difficult time. The property itself is lovely — peaceful, impressive and extremely comfortable. Rob came out to meet us in the car park on arrival and made us feel genuinely welcome straight away. Our bedroom was large, comfortable and very quiet, and we slept exceptionally well throughout our stay. The breakfasts were excellent, freshly prepared and genuinely delicious, and the location is stunning. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Villa Rozenhof is one of those rare places where everything simply feels easy and well cared for. We would highly recommend it and would happily stay again. Nothing of note at all — we were very comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay.

• Krueger (10/5): Ein perfektes Wochenende - Wir haben ein wunderbares Wochenende in der idyllischen Villa Rozenhof verbracht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, das am Tisch servierte Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, vom Balkon aus konnten wir den Blick in den schönen Park genießen. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sehr groß und komfortabel. Für die Nutzung der kleinen Sauna lagen Bademäntel und Badeschlappen bereit. Die Umgebung und die Nähe zur historischen Stadt Zutphen machte den Aufenthalt perfekt.

• Ulrich (8/5): Gut und außergewöhnlich. - Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und es gab Tipps fürs Abendessen und Ausflüge. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade-Zimmer, die Fahrräder konnten in der Garage abgestellt werden. Das Frühstück war umfangreich, es fehlte an nichts. Das Upgrade-Zimmer war uns etwas zu dunkel. Der Zimmerservice beschränkt sich auf den Wechsel der Handtücher, zumindest die Leerung der Mülleimer hätten wir uns gewünscht. Das man beim Frühstück alles gebracht bekommt, ist für uns das erste Mal gewesen.

• George (10/5): We loved our stay at Villa Rozenhof; Rob and Alita were especially congenial hosts. - Beautiful, well kept, and clean, and spacious rooms. Strong WiFi signal throughout. Location is convenient for visiting nearby cities by car. Breakfasts were high quality and fresh. The only inconvenience was the occasional fly or mosquito, though these are hard to avoid in the country during the summer.

• Margot (8/5): Relaxing and beautiful, especially for couples! - The hotel, its surroundings, the breakfast and hosts were amazing, including their dog (even though I don’t even like dogs). Bubble wine on sunday morning was the pefect end of our stay! It is not very suitable for kids. We brought our one year old. It’s difficult e.g. to take her out for dinner and that wasn’t available in the hotel or (some kind of) takeaway nearby.

Excellent room (we took the grand deluxe with the fabulous bathroom) and comfortable bed and bedding. Breakfast was great. The weather wasn't good so we didn't get to see much of the area but we will return in the Spring. Thanks, Rob, for the warm hospitality. The only thing we think could be improved was the lack of electrical outlets with easy access. For two people with multiple devices and a laptop, it was a challenge. That was the only thing we found lacking.
