Good location , temp stay , bedroom size is small , bed frame is super single but my bed is queen. Sleep is off balance and toilet habe no bidget spray. • Verified traveler (6/5): バックパッカーにはありがたい - 士林夜市に近く、士林駅からもかなり近い。 利便性は非常に高い。 繁華街から近い割にそこそこ静かで過ごしやすい。 値段の割に快適だが、チェックインの方法はかなり癖がある。まず英語やその他の外国語は使えないので、北京語が話せない人は機械翻訳が必要になるだろう。 建物が古いので、壁も割れているところがあるし、一部の壁にはカビも生えている。しかし、清掃はしっかりされているし、冬場だからかもしれないがカビ臭さなどはなかった。 トイレとシャワーが曲者で、構造上どうしてもシャワーを浴びるとトイレやトイレの床が水浸しになる。しかも、シャワーのレバーがトイレで用を足しているときに当たってシャワーの水が上から降ってきてびしょ濡れになる。もうちょっとうまくトイレとシャワーを配置してくれるとうれしい。 お茶や水、タオル、ケーブルテレビ、冷蔵庫、ヘアドライヤーなど、アメニティや設備は値段とは不釣り合いなぐらい充実してよい。 睡眠環境はあまり良くないかもしれない。照明を消しても上部の通気口から共用廊下の光が漏れてくる。遮音性がないため、隣人がうるさいと全然寝られない。耳栓とアイマスクは必須かもしれない。 とはいえ安いので、総合的には満足している。チェックインのしづらさで安くなっているのだとしたら、むしろ歓迎したい。

• Yumi (8/5): - This hostel was a great choice for my solo trip in Taiwan. It’s easy to access to 2 stations near this hostel even if you carry big luggages. Quiet neighborhood, hotel guests. But I think you need to let them know what time you arrive at the hostel. I needed to wait for about one hour room cleaning done.
• JIAN ZHONG (4/5): 假日收費標準跟四星級飯店一樣。服務項目確是二星級的招待 - 整體住宿的體驗不太理想 裡面什麼生活機設定又少 早餐也沒 洗衣機也沒有 停車也沒合作的 停車場。光兩天停車費花了快三千 平日假日價位沒理由跟著波動。假如只是住一天兩天這個算合理範圍 我一次買七天。住三天後面不想繼續住。還說不行更改。照理說退70%也不為過。之後剩兩天離開那裡。業者也無動於衷。好像沒一回事。第三方處理事情的態度也不積極。退費一事第三方推給業者業者推給第三方。

• HONOKA (6/5): - 夜遅くのチェックインでも迅速に対応していただきました。チェックイン方法は他の方の口コミで書いてある通りLINEから鍵を受け取る方法で、ミッションのようで楽しかったです。アクセスも良くコンビニも近かったです。ただ下水の匂いが気になりました。
• Barbara (4/5): - No lobby staff and no staff ever seen to ask questions of. Only contact with the hotel was through whatsapp. Check-in was a tedious process through whatsapp which I would not have successfully completed without the help of someone I was traveling with. Had to request towels, drinking water and toilet paper through whatsap on a daily basis by 11 am.
• Gordon (6/5): - Rooms were clean and well-stocked, but each one different, and some without windows. Beds were comfortable. Advance check-in instructions were not clear. Nobody is available for on-site check-in, Be sure you have WhatsApp or Line installed, or you will be dead in the water. All communication with management is through those apps. Once we got that cleared up, everything went smoothly. This is not your typical tourist hotel, and some rooms do not have elevator access, but it is clean, safe, and authentic. I would stay here again!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Rooms are mostly without real windows. - The rooms with windows were not true windows, just a tiny cell hole high up that faces the corridors. So the rooms will not get amy sunlight. The rooms have some kind of cigarette smell. If they can get rid of smell plus wallpaper the room, room will be much better. The only good thing is that rates are quite low.

• Huiting (8/5): 短暫住一晚還能接受 - 步行士林夜市2分鐘很方便，房間很小行李箱可能無法完整打開，廁所有翻修過還蠻新的，但是馬桶的衝力很小感覺會有堵住的風險，電視節目沒有聲音有告知房東還是解決不了很無言，應該是被鎖住靜音鍵了，但是房間裡不是原廠的遙控器是飯店簡易型遙控所以解除不了，這點小問題無法解決蠻傻眼的，只住一晚而已就勉強接受，一晚2000多台幣，感覺汽車旅館或許更好

• Ayako (8/5): - 士林夜市から近いにもかかわらず、予想に反して静かで過ごしやすかったです。 他の方が書かれていたように、チェックインの戸惑いと毎日の掃除等が無い点はガッカリポイントでしたが、安価なので仕方がないかと思います。 最寄りの士林駅もお店がたくさんあって賑やかでしたので、チェックインの仕方もわかりましたし、次もぜひリピートしたい宿泊施設です。
• Scott (2/5): - Room is very small. Shower is over the toilet. Room isn’t cleaned daily. Cheap towels, and only 2 at a time. No place to put a suicase. TV didn’t work well. AC system was not easy to use. No front desk or on-site personnel. IT WAS ONE LEVEL ABOVE LIVING UNDER A BRIDGE.
• misuzu (2/5): - 受付が無人なのでチェックインに困った。電話番号も書いてあるが電話に出なかった。他にもチェックインのやり取りをしてる人が居たのでやり方を聞いて無事チェックインできた。LINEのお友達登録、パスポートまたはIDの写真送付、部屋番号とカードキーBOXの暗証番号が送られてくる流れ。 ホテル側とのやりとりは全てLINEのみだか答えが来ない場合も多々あった。 バスタオルは言わないと替えてもらえない。トイレットペーパーも言わないと補給されない。4泊の滞在中清掃は全くなし。マグカップも滞在中は全く替えられなかった。ゴミ箱もそのままなので毎日ゴミ箱は部屋の外に出しておくようにしたら回収されていた。バスタオルも部屋の外に出していたが補充される日とされない日があった。日中にカウンターらしき所に人が居る事もありその方に言うとバスタオルは補充されたが彼女が居なかったらバスタオル補充なしだったかも。 最終日に朝早く空港に行く必要があり、タクシー手配を頼もうとしたがお断りされた。自力で予約する為におおよその時間や料金なと教えて欲しいと質問したが返事はなかった。（全てLINEでのやりとり） チェックアウト（カードキーは受取BOXに返却済）した後に、LINEでチェックアウト時間に遅れた場合の追加料金の連絡が来たが既にチェックアウトしてると伝えたがその後は返事がない。 場所は士林夜市に近く、MRTの駅からも歩いて5〜10分程度。値段だけで決めるなら便利だとは思うがリピはない。
• TOMOMI (8/5): - 入口を探すのは難しいので住所で探すといいかもしれません。あとはとにかくチェックインが難しい！入口にあるQRコードを取り込むとチェックインの指示が送られてくる。そして部屋の横にある鍵の暗証番号を入力してBOXを開けるとカードキーが入っている。2部屋取ったのだが、私達はその暗証番号が入れ替わっていたため開かずに大変な思いをした。それはもう「ミッション」。シャワー室に関しても部屋によって異なり、トイレとシャワーに仕切りがある部屋もあれば、仕切りがなくトイレがビッショビショになる部屋もある。そういうことが許せない方は泊まらない方がいい。でも夜一は近いし、駅からもさほど遠くないので価格からすると大満足です。いろいろひっくるめて楽しめる方におすすめします。
• Edward (6/5): - Good location next to Shilin market and close to the metro. Good shower, Aircon, and an elevator. We were at the end of the corridor so it was quiet. Room is tiny which wasn't super clear in the pictures. Floor was absolutely filthy when we arrived, although when I notified reception they did send the cleaner to vacuum. It clearly never gets mopped. Bed is also small but relatively comfortable. Found the whole process for check in very tedius of messaging on line, having to download this app, recieving a code. A human interaction is sometimes better. Room was also not ready until 4pm, worldwide this is very late for a check in which is usually 2pm. They did allow us to leave bags in a communal area as no reception (which didn't feel safe at all). Overall for the price charged it felt expensive for the service received.

• Timothy Gabriel (6/5): - I wanted to like this place. I'd lived in Taiwan before so I knew what to expect from "apartment" style buildings. Location was great for my trip and wifi was blazing. Service people are helpful. Taxis probably wont want to pull up to the front of the building in that narrow street, so that's something to note. Make sure to have "Line" messaging app installed to contact the management and send a pic of your passport, to get the door panel code and check-in details for your room. Newly installed access panel for the building's front door had us locked out for 30min one day, so that could have been very bad for us had we missed a meeting. Asked to change sheets and towels one day, but only sheets were changed. There was a small window towards the hallway that make it harder to sleep as the room was never dark. Walls don't offer any soundproofing, and they ask to keep the noise down past 9pm. Overall, It's not terrible, but not great either. Good for utility, not for comfort.
• SelEONGJIN (2/5): It was such a terrible nightmarish night. - These are my experiences. 1. I made a reservation for a total of five nights from December 21st to 26th. 2. I heard that the hotel counter was open until 22:00, but since it was a self-service hotel, there was no one, not only the counter but also the manager. You cheated. 3. I chose a non-smoking room, but the smell of cigarettes in the room was severe. (I checked in early morning on the 22nd.) So I heard you were going to clean the room, but surprisingly, I came on the night of the 22nd and found that it was not cleaned at all. 4. On the first day, the smell of cigarettes was so bad that they were going to give us extra cleaning. (Of course they didn't do anything.) After that, they also said that they would be given cleaning and towels every three days. Is it common practice to clean once every three days, give towels only once every three days, and give disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste only once every three days? 5. And there was a lot of cleaning and mold dust in the room, and I gave up a hundred times saying I could sleep as long as the bed was clean, but the bed was especially so dirty. There were so many foreign substances (blood? body fluid?) in the blanket that I couldn't cover it. Therefore, I was shivering in the cold for two nights from December 21 to 23 morning without being able to cover my blanket. I couldn't sleep because it was so cold and checked out on the morning of 12/23 (even though I had 3 more days left to book)

• Oh (4/5): - 단점은 상주직원이 없어서 대응받기가 좀 힘들고 처음에 인증하는게 라인으로 인증해야 되서 라인이 없었던 저희는 처음 진입이 힘들었어요 청소하시는 직원분이 알려주시지 않았다면 고생 꽤 많이 했을거에요. 장점은 스린야시장이랑 가깝고 교통도 편합니다. 또한 샤워물이 잘 나와서 만족해요

• Leonard (2/5): - The confirmation letter from Expedia was no help. It took me an hour sitting in the lobby to realize there was no one working the frontdesk in the lobby. I had to catch other guests going in and out the 'hotel' to help with contacting the manager. I must first install Line, an app I had never used before, Then another person helped me with how to contact the manager with Line. That took another half an hour before I was checked in. As a visitor, I had internet but no phone.

A lot of food options nearby. Not easy to find as the main entrance is just a regular house entrance. There is no proper signage so you just need to find the number 59 plate on the wall.

• tourist (4/5): - スタッフは不在なことが多く、トラブルがあっても相談出来ません。 上の部屋が夜間に連日大騒ぎしており、何回も注意しに行きました。 注意すると謝るのですが、しばらく経つとまた騒音が聞こえます。 ほんとウンザリしました。 あとはシャワーヘッドを掛けるところが壊れていたり、歯ブラシの補充もあったりなかったりです。 バスタオルはありますが、フェースタオルは置いていないので、必要なら持参した方がよいです。 夜市に近く立地はよいのですが、次はちゃんとフロントのある所に宿泊するつもりです。

• Verified traveler (6/5): It's just ok - Well, when we arrived nobody on the desk. We waited about 30mins till someone helped us on our booking. We lost water in our 1st day. We dont the know how to contact them. The place was nice closer to the night market.

We turned around and got back to the hotel several hours later. Our passports were kept safe in the office. We were exhausted from stress and travel, so we spent another night there. We would gladly return again if we are back in the area.
• Stanislaus R.J. (6/5): Good only for heavy sleepers bound for Shilin area - You have to rate a budget hotels for what you paid. The Economy rooms are "capsule" rooms. That was omitted from the ad, be it that there is indeed a regrettably realistic photo of that room. My bad that I overrated that photo. The room itself was clean, and has a comfortable bed, airco, a good shower, and a clear-picture 28inch TV. It has a larg-esk window and a rather dirty balcony next to your front door where you can smoke and not sit for there are no chairs. All of this is fine, but not the noises from outside your window. Several airco units, a waterpump and a boiler are humming loudly all night, with noisy traffic barely making a dent in the discomfort. The windows and outer walls are wafer thin. Good thing is you'll never hear a neighbor snore. Brief, a capsule room like this is good value for money, if it wasn't for the incessant noise. Also, no parking. Tiny, busy streets, for miles around. No parking anywhere. No billboard on the front door. You have to be a local to be able to find the address. Arrived at 22.30 for check-in, and found only a phone instead of a door bell. Then, a 20 minute wait for staff to open up. Not great, and can be avoided by an earlier arrival, where there is staff present, -I think. As I am a light sleeper, I would not visit this one again, but for the little money you spend you get to be at the heart of the bustling Shilin Night Market. Just do not bring a car, and time your anesthetics well.

Just had some bad experience with other people staying in the apartment. Sound proof was bad. Neighbour was talking loudly on the phone. Could hear every single word. Had to go over and tell them.

• Mon (2/5): Horrible. Never experienced this. - To gain entry, you have a to call a no. from outside that does not respond. You have to wait until the only personnel came out to get the mail. She is the receptionist, security, and the housekeeper! She was grouchy and rude and she isn't happy with her job. It is NOT a hotel! But the price was the price of a 4-star hotel. We have to wait for an hour as she (the one and only)has to clean the room. We ride on a small elevator into a very tight space before the room. The room was so small though clean. The worst part was when it rain. You can hear the rain as our room is the rooftop of the building. It is horrible! I can't even believe that Expedia would endorse this accommodation. I hope they have inspected the place before endorsing it. I have travelled a lot and also stayed in serviced apartment but not this one. I even felt robbed!
