- Elvira (10/5): A very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Manchester - Everything was perfect, the location itself is a bonus for everyone that wants to visit Manchester and wants to visit some of this city attractions. Very close from either the coach station or the train station, spacious and very clean rooms, sparkling toilets, very friendly staff. In few words, what someone needs for a hotel so that one can enjoy the stay there. I would absolutely recommend this place and hopefully,, if I am going to Manchester again that would be my choice.

- Carole (10/5): Excellent hotel. Staff exceptional highly recommend! - Very warm welcome by reception. Room was lovely bright and cosy. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Great location for shops bars restaurants so central to all the attractions. Bar area beautifully decorated. This hotel offers excellent value for money and I’m already booked to stay again at motel one in Edinburgh! Having to leave ! Could easily have stayed longer!

- Megan (9/5): Convenient, comfortable and good value - The hotel is really well located and was handy for everything I visited in the city. I got the free bus from Picadilly station which dropped me right on the corner so that was very easy. The staff were friendly snd courteous and the room was small but comfortable with everything I needed. It was clean and the shower was good. The late night bar was handy too. I would stay there again. Shower wasn’t as hot as I usually like on one of the days but the next day it was fine.

Frühstücksmöglichkeit praktisch nebenan. Gratisrundbus in der Stadt. Das Barpersonal war nicht sehr motiviert,dennoch qualifiziert. Die Dekokissen im Zimmer waren fleckig. Fenster war verschlossen, kein Lüften möglich. TV funktionierte nicht (wir brauchten ihn sowieso nicht, aber das sollte dem Personal auffallen)

Great location We booked car parking and reconfirmed on the day by phone only to arrive and be told no parking. There is also no where to park even to drop off bags (have to stop in street on double yellow lines). The young guy on the desk was helpful to direct us to a nearby parking lot but all in all it took about an hour of stuffing around. Also the room door was very difficult to open. You basically had to shoulder charge it to open it.

- Arran (2/5): Wouldn’t return / Pay to stay again - Great location, nice bar Staff either have a lack of training or just do not care, welcome was great but after that I felt like I was causing them hassle, room door was broken and didn’t lock, staff member told us we where wrong, I shown him the broken screws on the door frame he then moved us with no apologies or anything, heating also didn’t work in the new room.

No one cleaned any tables for about 30 minutes as they continued to refill the buffet we asked if there was a cloth to clean the table as we'd cleared a table for ourselves. The member of staff said he's sort it in a minute which he never did. People coming to breakfast had nowhere to sit as the used dishes remained uncleared No one was on the desk for checkout. This is not a budget hotel, I've had better service at Premier Inn.

The size of the room for the price, wardrobe needed, better shower pressure, bigger bedside tables, didn’t notify that there was no parking available, when room was booked, it stated parking available. Had to park down the road (10 walk) cost £26.50.

- Jessica (5/5): Not impressed - Central location Rang up the night before our stay to double check the postcode for the private carpark, which we’d booked weeks in advance, to be told that the carpark was no longer available due to ‘maintenance’. No one had told communicated this to us so it’s a good job we called! Ended up having to book trains last minute as the other carpark they recommended had awful reviews, so we were left out of pocket. During our stay, we were woken up by a group of drunk guests shouting and screaming in the corridor at 4am. Our door also didn’t look properly so the room didn’t feel particularly secure. To top it all off the lifts took ages to come and took us to different floors even if no one had rang for one which was quite annoying. The only good thing was the location as it’s central but beyond that we wouldn’t stay again.

I was able to leave my bags on site, even though I arrived early so I didn't have to drag them around town all day. The lounge area downstairs was really great and I was able to do some work down there using the free WiFi.
