• Verified traveler (8/5): Location information is misleading - The location was 0.7 miles from the address in the listing. I was told "that's just a reference address". Extremely frustrating and disappointing because the most important factor I consider when booking is location. I felt misled.
• rita (4/5): Not what it's adverised to be.. - Stains on carpet in building... stains on kitchen work top.. stains on sofa bed... building and apartment very unhomely... tv old looking... shabby surroundings... needs refurbishing, with home comforts... also apartment not advertised to where it is actually located... no where near Camden markets....

• Arantza (8/5): Sencillo pero cómodo. - Ya habíamos leído e íbamos preparados a encontrarnos con cualquier cosa, para nuestra suerte, el apartamento estaba bien. No corresponde con las fotos de la web y la dirección era de la oficina, el apartamento estaba a 15’, pero aún así, estuvimos bien. Contentos. Y la atención fue buena.
• Kate (8/5): Mixed feelings - Convenience of location made this property worthwhile. Unfortunately the beds were barely sleepable and there was lipstick stains on the crockery from prior guests. Some basic provisions would have been really appreciated - like a plug for the kitchen sink & some tea towels & cloths so we could clean up after ourselves. Whilst this was a bit disappointing - a bonus was the water pressure in the shower. That was great. The fumes from the restaurant downstairs would be overwhelming in the apartment in an hot day. But again - the centrality of the property was fantastic & property manager super friendly.
• Jesmeet (2/5): - First off, the address listed is not and I repeat, NOT the address for the apartment. When we got to the office to check in for 3 nights, I was told on the 3rd day I would need to change apartments. I was not informed earlier and traveling with a 3,7,78, and 85 year old, packing 2nd night and then again to check out was very very inconvenient. Also we had no hot water or heat in the 2nd location. It was 40 degrees and super cold. When we informed the hotel they sent someone by the time we were ready to check out. To make matters worse they told us that it was probably our fault that the power to the water heater was turned off. Avoid at all cost, go to a different location. The staff is not understanding and just does not care.
• G (2/5): Avoid - Misrepresentation and they know it. - This is misrepresentation and I am now in the process of claiming damages. The property is not the one in the picture nor is it at the address shown. Hotels.com knew this and continued to show this property after a previous complaint. I am unhappy with them in this respect - it should not have happened. Avoid!!!
• Erin (4/5): - The location was ok, close to underground. The place itself was run down. Place did not look like the pictures. No hand soap or tea towels. Lots police noise.
• Gareth (2/5): Very poor experience - Sadly our experience with this property was very poor. There were a number of issues listed below. After our stay the property managers were unwilling to acknowledge many of these issues or claimed them as being normal for this property, despite the fact that the hotels.com listing contradicting. The property managers and hotels.com have both rejected any request for a refund or any compensation, and have dismissed the complaint without any acknowledgement of fault or an apology. The listing on hotels.com, and the booking details confirmed the address as 26 Inverness Street, Camden the actual address is 139 Kentish Town Road, Kentish Town. In comparison this is considerably further from the closest London Underground station and is in a less desirable and less safe location. The property itself was in poor condition and not comparable to the photographs provided at the point of booking. Kitchen and bathroom finish was poor with damage to fittings, cupboards, bath etc. Dishwasher was damaged and non-functional. Two door handles were damaged and non-functional. Bathroom ceiling leaked what appeared to be sewage from the floor above. At departure there was no-one present at the property office until past 11 AM leaving a group of people waiting outside for around an hour. Two contact numbers were provided, the land-line number is not valid, the mobile number was never answered and there has no voicemail or text facility.
• Nicole (2/5): Klam lejlighed - Vi bestilte denne lejlighed, men fik en helt anden. Lejligheden lå på en anden adresse og var virkelig klam. Der var lange sorte hår i sengen, skimmelsvamp, våde vægge og vandet fossede konstant fra blandingsbatteriet.
• Jav (8/5): - Nice, clean property. A couple of markets and restaurants nearby. Property has a clothes washer, no dryer. It is a bit farther than expected but several public transport options are available and nearby. I would stay here again.

• Tsach M. (8/5): Great property at great location - Overall, great location and we'll maintained property made our week vacation to London very enjoyable. Very roomy apartment, located absolutely near Camden market tube station. We've arrived during the night (off hours) so we had to pay extra fee which I thought was bit high... Also, the prop management has several apartments so you book an apartment but you don't know for sure which one you ganno get - they tell u only 2-3 days before arrival... Overall, we're very happy which the overall process and booking experience

Lejlighed og billeder var ikke helt i overensstemmelse...vi havde forventet noget mere. Men god placering i forhold til vores interesser.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - El apartamento estaba bien pero la limpieza deja mucho que desear, y es lamentable que pidan 40 libras para “gastos de limpieza” cuando haces el chek in y cuando llegues esté todo lleno de polvo. Por otra parte, en la época que hemos estado amanece a las 5 am y las ventanas no contaban el equipamiento necesario para impedir que pasara La Luz del sol, por lo que era difícil dormir. Otra cosa a tener en cuenta es que los apartamentos no se encuentran en la dirección indicada, sino que están repartidos por camden, el nuestro por ejemplo se encontraba a 11 minutos andando desde la estación del metro de camden.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Lage der Unterkunft war auch ok. Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft war ok, ausser im Schlafzimmer hat das Fenster nicht richtig geschlossen. Die Sauberkeit war nicht gut. Es sieht so aus als ob die Unterkunft nicht regelmässig gereinigt wird, obwohl 40 Pfund für die Endreinigung zu zahlen sind. Der Boden war in allen Zimmern dreckig, es war Ketchup an der Wand. Im Bad waren noch Haare von den vorherigen Urlaubern und generell war alles was man berührt hat etwas klebrig. Vor der Tür hat sich der Müll gestapelt (Verpackungen, Alkoholflaschen, Gläser, ...). Die Müllabfuhr hätte den Müll mitnehmen können, wenn er von den Verantwortlichen auf die Straße gestellt worden wäre.
• MRS (8/5): - This property was clean and bright but because we were on the top floor the stairs were a bit much for a couple of us very quiet but near enough for the tube and all the buzz of Camden
• Maren (6/5): Dårlig renhold og ekstrautgifter - Leiligheten var ikke skikkelig rengjort. Det var hår på gulvet, og den tilsvarte ikke 4 stjerner. Det var også mye støv generelt med dårlig inneklima, og trappeoppgangen var vemmelig. Hun som vi fikk nøkkelen av da vi ankom var veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig, men han vi sjekket ut hos var sur og avvisende. Det forekom også ekstra utgifter som ikke var oppført på hotels.com. Vi måtte betale 30 pund for at vi ankom på kvelden, 40 pund for renhold og 60 pund for en simpel ekstraseng i 3 netter. Totalt 120 pund som ikke var nevnt da vi booket leiligheten. Beliggenheten i forhold til metro og Camden town, og størrelsen på leiligheten var bra.

• Andres (2/5): - Pictures of the apartment do not correspond to the actual apartment. Several apartments are rented using the same nice picture. Actual apartment can be a lot worse.
• summer (4/5): Small apartment in Camden - Check in was fairly simple, despite being asked for a £500 deposit on the day when I was told it was going to be £300. This wasn't a big issue, just in my opinion is too much for an average apartment that contained nothing valuable of over £500 and most things were broken already anyway, and the communication between the staff and customers was poor. The pictures on Expedia are not representative of the actual apartment. It is quite small and very simple. Although it was clean it was very dusty and some aspects were very worn out such as the blinds, which would hardly open to let daylight in without the risk of breaking. The bathroom was nice, but I found the shower to be a bit of a hazard. It was a bath/shower and the bath was raised too high from the floor and the bath sloped up making it very difficult to get in and out especially when it was wet and there was no slip mat provided. I could go on. I would say this is a very average apartment and would not pay the price we payed for the weekend for what we got. Would recommend to someone who doesn't really care what they're staying in as long as it provides a bed. I will not be returning.
• Ingun (2/5): Mice in the apartment & terrible customer service - The location of the apartment is not the same as the reception. That makes check-in a bit challenging with 2 kids and lots of luggage, but ok. We also had to pay an extra cleaning fee at check-in. A bit annoying as they don't take cards, but ok. The apartment was nice with ok space. The problems started when we found mice in the apartment. Camden Market Apartments did not have any personell available outside regular office hours to handle the situation at the location. They were neither able to provide a replacement apartment for more than one of the four remaining nights. We had to move out of the apartment and find a new hotel on our own. Camden Market Apartments told us that the complaint and the claim for compensation should be handled by Expedia. In correspondence with Expedia they've refused to give any compensation as they consider they have offered an equivalent apartment. We would not recommend renting an apartment at Camden Market Apartments and will not use this website again..
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Other than the bad smell in the hallway, the flat was perfect for our family of 6. We were in Flat A. While the AC wasnt working, we were provided several room fans. Great area if you arent afraid to experience a vacay around locals. I'd definitely stay again.

• David (8/5): Apartamentos muy recomendables! - Apartamento bien ubicado, acondicionado y confortable. El check in se hizo de forma rápida y el personal simpático y agradable. Nos alojamos a 5 minutos de la oficina de recepción. Sin duda repetiría ya que creo que la relación calidad-precio es muy buena. Además tiene el plus de estar situado en un barrio espectacular!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice area fairly close to underground - It was a very nice stay in a very nice space however, the bedroom was extremely chilly at night when the heat was turned off. Luckily, I managed to find 6 comforters which mitigated the cold. There needs to be more coffee packs put out as well as toilet paper. I also run a vacation home and always make sure that there is an abundant supply of toilet paper and coffee. Directions for use of the appliances would be helpful and more pantry towels for drying the dishes. Apart from the above, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you .

• Helene (8/5): Bra lägenhet men ocentralt läge i Camden. - Det som jag ogillar med hotellet är alla avgifter som jag fick betala när vi checkade in. Sen incheckning 20 pund. Städ 40 pund och en pant på 300 pund som jag inte har sett till än på mitt konto fast det skulle betalas tillbaka vid utcheckningen. Alla dessa extraavgifter är inte acceptabla det blir en otrevlig känsla och semesterresan får sig en törn i starten. När får jag tillbaka pengarna? Eller anser de att jag har förstört något? Fast jag vet att jag inte har det. Lägenheten låg väldigt ocentralt i Camden och vi fick gå 2 km för att komma dit.

• Joan (8/5): The apartment was nice and in a great location. - When booking it said all prices included but then we ended up paying an additional amount directly to the person for cleaning fee plus late fee for time of our arrival. The gal was very friendly tho and helped us after a long day of flights and lost luggage, etc. It is wonderfully located and easy to get anywhere. It is a very cute apartment and is well stocked for most anything a person/couple might need.
• Carlotta (6/5): hat den Zweck erfüllt - Leider befand sich unser Appartement nicht an der von uns gebuchten Adresse: wir haben in Camden Town an der Inverness St und nicht an der Adelaide St., Chalk Farm gebucht. Zudem war die Wohnung nicht sehr sauber, der Duschvorhang äusserst schmudelig und roch nicht besonders fein....Die Vorhänge im Wohnbereich und Schlafzimmer erfüllten ihren Zweck nicht, hingen in den Wohnbereich und brachten wenig Sichtschutz...ansonsten war die Ausstattung gut, Waschmaschine und Küchenapparate bestens. Auch wen wir uns bewusst sind, dass London ein teures Pflaster ist, stimmte das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht

• Pauline (8/5): if traveling with children and seniors... - Check-in was a bit messy, as I didn't read the instructions sent in an email form. The exact apartment location is much further than expected, as it was not mentioned on the website or the email, which was a bit disappointing. I had 2 children and 2 seniors with me, which made the dragging of luggages around to locate the apartment difficult. But once we have settled in, it was a clean and cozy apartment. It would have been better to inform interested parties that the apartments are scattered all over Camden Town and the rough walking distance to reach them. Thanks!
