- Elizabeth (9/5): - Nice hotel met all my needs
- Alan (8/5): -
- Jane (10/5): - Really helpful making space for our cycles in a secure location.
Outdoor space is lovely
Good location so close to the Menai Bridge
Excellent choice at breakfast
- Cliff (8/5): We would highly recommend this venue. The pub side was also very good. Would stay again. - We had breakfast on three mornings. The choices were excellent as was the food. Staff were on hand and helpful but not intrusive. When asked for a variation to the cooked breakfast this was given.
We had two evening meals in the restaurant: starters and mains. All were well presented and excellent value for money. Again the service from the staff was good, polite and friendly. We had no complaints with our room, the service or the meals.
- Gary (8/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Great location and very comfortable. - Great location and comfortable Lots of stairs
- Karen (10/5): Comfortable, cosy and charming! - I stayed at this hotel for one night with my 7-year old during the Easter holidays. We took the ferry to holyhead and the main purpose of our visit was to see Caernafron castle. This hotel was a gem in the ideal location. An old pub with a small number of rooms, charming and comfortable. The staff were excellent. We stayed from 6th-7th April and I cannot remember the names of the staff on reception on the morning of the 7th. They were also serving breakfast and were just lovely. Very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!
- Susan (8/5): Very pleasant - The breakfast was very good good choice The only thing that let it down were the inside of the window frames needed to have a good clean and the silicone around the bath needed to be replaced.
- James (10/5): - It is right over church island on Menai straights a peaceful delightwith the Menai bridge majestically framing above the swirlls of the seaway between GWENETH and Angelsay. A wee historic gem Too short a stay in this gem
- ROBERT (9/5): I would stay here any time I visit with my friends great location in a good village. - Good good and bar areas, very popular.
- Hoyle (5/5): - Breakfast was nice and bed was good Forgot about us when ordered dinner .starter came then nothing else .then charged for it .water not very hot in room
- jason (10/5): - The breakfast...... Leaving after one day
- James (7/5): - Nice staff Small room, quite shabby
- Kath (8/5): Great for a weekend break - Good breakfast!
Friendly staff! View of a roundabout not great!
Rien.
- ian (10/5): Excellent Hotel to explore the Island from. - Lovely breakfast.
- Kate (10/5): Comfortable, friendly and good food - Friendly, comfortable All good
- Jordan (4/5): The room we were given was very small and it was not a 4* experience. - Room was clean, food was good, hotel in good location. The room was very small, with nowhere to store anything. No bedside table on one side, the bathroom basin was very small. It was necessary to turn on the bathroom light with the sliding door open, so it lit up the bedroom and woke the other guest.
- Nigel (7/5): -
- George (9/5): Plenty of parking, good food and comfortable rooms. - Plenty of parking, good food and comfortable rooms.
- Vincent (8/5): -
- Molly (8/5): Staff make the place! - Excellent location and setting! The staff were incredible y helpful and friendly! Bathroom was not very clean, lots of black mould in bathroom
- John (5/5): In view of the shortcomings mentioned the stay was not value for money and it would only be the location which would ent - The location was superb and the food in the restaurant both breakfast and evening meal was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful The hotel just seemed a little tired and in need of refurbishment. In example our room had loose electric sockets, the tap in the bathroom required tightening and on the day of arrival there was a lack of hot water
- Malcolm (8/5): Good for short stays - Good location
Comfortable beds Bathroom very cold as it needed a replacement window
Average breakfast
- scrag44 (7/5): - The location was great, very eady access and plenty of parking.
Just Anglesey side of the bridge which was perfect for me. It seemed there wasn't enough staff.
I waited 10 minutes just to check in.
The staff though, were really friendly and helpful.
The room had everything I needed and there was plenty of tea and coffee and 2 bottles of water.
My evening meal was spot on and a great pint too.
The food was excellent value for money.
I didn't have 2 or 3 courses but 3 courses was only £20 from a fixed menu and I think £16 for the 2 course so great value.

The hotel room was really comfortable and the location of the hotel is great as well, it is located nearby the menai bridge :D the restaurant and breakfast options are really nice too!
- gstran0 (10/5): Giuseppe - he food was truly gourmet—every dish refined, flavourful, and executed to perfection. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the outstanding staff: warm, professional, and genuinely caring in a way that has become increasingly rare in our modern era. Thank you for an unforgettable evening.”

- proper hair dryer in the room
- staff very friendly and accommodating
- breakfast was lovely
- pub/ restaurant were appointed lovely and food was delicious
- would stay here again 😁
- free parking and lots of it - mattress was flat, no support at all. Felt old and didn't have much life left in it
- bathroom is shabby and needed TLC
- peeling paint in bedroom
- shower bath did not drain, ended up standing in a few inches of water when showering
- Melanie (4/5): Tired with no view from double room window. Room felt claustrophobic. - Location and friendly staff were helpful.
Food delicious. Noise. Young children and dog from 7am till 9am
Felt rooms description was misleading.
Windows had no view
And frosted
Room above kitchen. Fans loud.
- Catherine (10/5): Will be back very soon, really enjoyed our stay! - Loved our stay! Staff really friendly and attentive, food lovely especially breakfast and rooms were clean and cosy! Only slight niggle was the bedroom window in room 105 didn’t close properly so caused a slight draught. Once curtains were shut it wasn’t noticeable and didn’t effect our stay.
- Mobile03371435472 (10/5): Birthday get away - We stayed a few years ago and we were so disappointed but WOW 🥳what a turn around

- David lee (10/5): -
- jackmg03 (6/5): Don’t recommend - Service was poor due to orders being messed up everytime despite having a list of the food peole ordered, staff were very rude and felt like we were an inconvenience rather than a customer to them, it was very clean I’ll give them that, but every single thing that was ordered came burnt and rock and solid, so if you’re looking for a place to eat I don’t recommend here
- T3784TJlucyv (10/5): Excellent food and lovely staff, especially waiter Sean! - We had a wonderful Sunday dinner to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. Food was delicious and staff were very attentive to you. Our waiter, Sean, was particularly lovely and sung as he brought out the birthday cake for mum which really made the experience more personal. He was brilliant. Thank you for making the meal so lovely.
- 317suen (6/5): Not enough staff ! - There were only two bar staff ! The car park system for logging your vehicle was not working and people were looking for assistance - just hope we don’t get a ticket as I couldn’t log my vehicle

- Dale (9/5): -
- Reem (8/5): - The friendly staff and location. The beds were comfortable and the allocated room was spacious. There is plenty of parking spaces near the hotel. Rooms too close to each other and we could hear everything in the hallways. Pets were permitted in rooms so we could hear another rooms dog barking. We were affected by these and couldn’t sleep well especially with the people closing door and speaking loudly in the hallways.
- Lawrence (9/5): Bathroom could have filler repainted and loose basin tapwo - Breakfast brilliant and plenty of it . Coffee very strong . Would have liked a wardrobe.
- Cornell (9/5): -
- Geraldine (8/5): Good - Location and parking. The room was a nice big room but was damp and had paint peeling off the walls.
