• Ahmier (4/5): TERRIBLE SERVICE - Check-in was easy. Heather was very helpful. Heather assisted us with the check-in and gave us a further discount on a room upgrade. When i went to go pay for the room upgrade the next day Heather wasn't on duty and another lady, Faith didn't want to honor the discount Heather gave us and we were asked to pay in full, she wasn't very helpful and understanding. The toilet paper they left wasnt enough for 2 people for 3 nights, was for one person that went once, had to get others. On the 3rd morning we didn't have electricity for a few hours since 4am the morning till about 9am. Overall not very happy experience.

• Nabila (1/5): I don’t reccomend these apartments cold showers dirty apartment - It’s central and well located to malls and major highways With the exception of faith staff were extremely unfriendly cleaning ladies did not clean properly the apartment was dirty but most importantly the showers were always cold they said there’s a timer which didn’t make any sense one person started showering and the water was ice cold. The bathrooms reaked of urine.

Upon arrival at Odyssey Luxury Apartments, the reception staff member was excellent—professional, welcoming, and helpful.Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated significantly from there. The apartment was in an unacceptable state. A used sanitary towel had been left in the bathroom, which had begun to smell. I had to personally request that cleaning staff remove it—something that should never happen in a “luxury” establishment. To make matters worse, both the TV remote and the air conditioning were not working. After reporting this, the response was extremely disappointing. A maintenance staff member brought me a blanket as a substitute for a non-functional air conditioner—in freezing winter conditions. He further revealed that at least two apartments, including mine, had non-working air conditioners and that a technician had already been notified earlier that morning. This means the apartment was knowingly rented out despite these serious issues. When I requested to be moved to another room, the owner refused unless I paid extra for a larger unit—effectively trying to extort more their maintenance issue. The Manager was rude and didnissive and refused to take any accountability. Ultimately, the apartment was uninhabitable due to the extreme cold, and I was forced to check out at 9pm the same night. This experience fell far below acceptable standards, let alone anything that could be described as “luxury.” I would strongly advise against booking here if you dont want to be scammed of your money and have a terrible experience.

• Nokuthula (4/5): It was pleasant for a 1 night stay but I were to come back I wouldn't choose that room again. - Location and Building The room only has a small bin in the bedroom, limited utensils for self catering, the bed was not comfortable, it was making noise when you seat on top of it.

This maybe booking.com to partly blame because my filter was explicit for a 1 bedroom apartment. The photos are combined and for a first time user of the app it's very easy to not see the sub-tabs for the different types of accommodation

We were not informed before booking that there were utility issues, and only found out after ma - Absolutely nothing I had a very disappointing experience with this place. Before booking, we were not informed about any issues with water. Only after making a non-refundable booking were we told there was no water. This made the stay extremely uncomfortable, as water is a basic necessity and you simply cannot function without it. What made things worse was the lack of proper communication and accountability. The only response we received was a simple apology for the inconvenience, which did not reflect the seriousness of the situation. Overall, this experience felt misleading and poorly managed. Guests should be informed of such major issues before booking, especially when bookings are non-refundable. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are properly addressed.
