Guest Reviews
- Riley (10/5): - Very ideal for either a weekend getaway or hosting a couple of families or even if you want ta weekend to get away with some mates for a boys weekend, very spacious and has an rustic feel to it, amazing bushwalks and rivers for fishing. Excellent all over
- Jade (6/5): - Beautiful location with great walks
- Kerry van (8/5): - It was nice to old school no power 👍
- Verified traveler (10/5): - loved the place no phone no tv peace and serenity
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A beautiful private spot, for a step up from camping, the cabin offered a more spacious 'clamping' space which was perfect for a rainy afternoon and night without being stuck in a tent in bad weather! Felt like we spent the weekend transported back in time to before electricity and in the warmth of a very eclectic internal fireplace. When it wasn't raining, we enjoyed having an outdoor fire, could look up at the stars and listen to the local night wildlife. The shower was nice and hot, and the short walk to the seperate toilet outside wasn't a problem, and although the cabin did not have fly screens, we barely needed to use a mosquito coil to keep any bugs away after dark. The kids loved it, especially the bunk beds, and said they didn't want to leave!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Bush camp with comforts - It's not fair to compare Little Styx cabins to hotels and motels. Imagine a camping trip to a beautiful, quiet spot in which your tent is actually a wooden cabin and there's a warm shower and a woodstove inside with a flushing toilet just outside and you'll have a pretty fair idea of the setup. We enjoyed our stay and had good neighbours to talk to around the outdoor fireplace.
