• Guy (10/5): The highlight of our Brazilian holiday not to be missed - This boutique hotel embodies the spirit of Trancoso with delightful details that surprise in every corner. The blending of local architectural and design with art and tradition from the region is magnificently executed. The breakfast is theatrical and the theme of the table decorations along with the menu changes everyday. An ode to slow living. The bedding is superb and comfort appointments in the room cover every angle one may think of. The team is also fantastic. Thoughtful and with personalized attention to every single guest. A very well managed operation overall that transforms a stay into a one of a kind experience. Thanks for having us!

Do café da manha … servido individual e com alimentos inadequados para um café da manha, ex: escondidinho de carne seca. Nao tinha pão, queijos, e se vc solicitasse incluiriam um omelete, ovos … mas não achei que qq mudança fosse bem aceita.

• Dario (3/5): bad management - the breakfast options are good, a nice concept they proposed thematic dishes everyday, they accomodate if you don't like some of the dishes with some options. The room was great and the bed very comfy everything was great until the day of the birthday of my wife came, i told them in advanced about the room decoration and the cake i would like for her, they even asked if i would add a note (which i did). The day of the birthday, even if i was in constant contact with one of the facilty manager who assured me everything was ready when we'll come back i found the room empty, not even the note...they bring the cake after 10 minutes without even a candle. The owner contacted us after telling us they would offer us a dinner in one of the nice restaurant of the area and a voucher to use another time with them, as form of excuse. unfortunately the dinner didn't work out for some electrical problem in the whole village and it was our last night there. I still didn't receive anything or any news about the voucher so it really hard but unfortunately this incident ruined the whole staying there for us, it's a pity cause the facility is great!!

There weren’t loads of facilities, but as long as you’re okay with exploring the area and relaxing in your room, it wasn’t a problem for us.

Te proporciona interagir com outros hóspedes numa mesa lindíssima que muda a cada dia. A tarde eles te servem um cafezinho acompanhado de um bolinho e muito carinho. O quarto é preparado com todo cuidado pra sua chegada com uma bandeja com comidinhas, suco, café e música. A roupa de cama e de banho é de altíssima qualidade. O banheiro a céu aberto é uma delícia, os chuveiros são excelentes e a banheira um luxo de gostosa.
• Inês (10/5): Se queres sentir-te em casa, escolhe o Perainda! - Amámos a nossa estadia na Casa Boutique Perainda. Foi, sem dúvida, uma experiência inesquecível. O hotel tem uma decoração lindíssima, original e extremamente cuidada, com atenção a cada pormenor, parece uma autêntica galeria de arte repleta de peças originais. Os pequenos-almoços são simplesmente deliciosos — sempre diferentes, criativos e verdadeiras experiências gastronómicas que tornaram cada manhã especial. Todo o staff é super simpático, carinhoso e muito atento, mas um destaque especial para o João e para a Leandra, que nos receberam de forma tão acolhedora que nos fizeram sentir verdadeiramente em casa. Ficámos na Casa Areia, que é um verdadeiro luxo, com tudo ao nosso dispor e um terraço maravilhoso com piscina, perfeito para relaxar e aproveitar cada momento. Todo o espaço parece que estamos em plena selva, cheio de verde e passarinhos a cantar, muito bem cuidado e mantido. Sem dúvida, é um lugar ao qual queremos voltar. Recomendamos de coração!

O café da manhã que é servido a partir das 08:30h pode ser um problema para alguns: primeiro porque são servidas várias porções, algumas bem diferente para um café da manhã, tipo casquinha de siri (mas, se a pessoa não se entusiasmar pelo pratos que serão servidos no dia, pode pedir ovos e/ou tapioca). O outro ponto crítico do café da manhã é ele começar as 08:30h: se a pessoa tiver que sair mais cedo, como foi meu caso, não terá café da manhã antes da partida.

• Gideon (9/5): An Instagrammers dream house - Our second visit to Perainda about 4.5 years after our first. It was a beautiful concept that the owners built - a luxury guest house in the jungle but still walkable to town (the quadrado) and the beach (a little further on foot). It’s an Instagrammers dream - the place is like a gallery of artefacts that the owners acquired over many years and now display in their property. Nothing… well maybe mosquitoes but that’s hardly the properties fault! Bring repellent for anywhere in Trancoso / Bahia / Brazil !

Por exemplo, saímos as 5h30 da manhã pois nosso voo era cedo, não tinha ninguém para nos auxiliar, saímos no escuro pois todas as luzes estavam apagadas, tinham nos dito que deixariam pronto um café para não viajarmos sem comer e quando saímos não tinha nada! Outro ponto que no café da manhã, eles poderiam ter o cardápio antes de iniciar, pois a comida vem na mesa e não sabemos o que é, só avisam que são pratos doces e salgados!

The property was clean and beautiful and our delux room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing , there was a different theme each day and all had a story behind them. The food was very good , fresh and homemade . The staff were exceptional and special mention to the host Etilso (Junior) who had breakfast with us each day and gave great advice. Nothing was too much bother for him or the concierge Karina. They would organise anything that you wanted . We really did not want to leave 😊 Nothing it was all good

The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful throughout, always doing whatever they could to make my experience more comfortable. The hotel is decorated very well, and the bathroom with the tub is one of the most beautiful bathrooms I’ve been in. The breakfasts every morning really set Perainda apart - the table is decorated exquisitely (and differently) every day, and the food served varies every day as well. The quality of the food was top notch. As a plus, the breakfast is so big you probably won’t even need to eat lunch! Daniel, one of the partners who manage Perainda, ate and chatted with me each morning, and the other guests were lovely as well. N/A

• Jason (10/5): Amazing! - This is an incredible small hotel! The room was even more beautiful than the pictures - spotlessly clean with wonderful bedding and an amazing outdoor bathroom. All the small details and touches were extremely thoughtful and appreciated (such as the welcome drinks and snacks, coffee time in the afternoon, and turn-down in the evening). The breakfast was amazing - likely one of the best we've ever had. Every day an elaborate & unique presentation was made, with so many courses of delicious items. We also really enjoyed being able to share this time with other guests and management from the hotel. All of the staff really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and made us feel like we were always so welcome. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough! Nothing - everything was fantastic.
• vivaldo pith (10/5): - Perainda Gostaria de compartilhar a minha experiência no Perainda , foi tudo tão maravilhoso que nem sei por onde começar … rs A pousada é de extremo bom gosto , a decoração é fantástica , cada pequeno detalhe escolhido de algum lugar do mundo… É um lugar que ficará guardado na memória de todos que tiverem oportunidade de hospedar. O ponto mais alto é a forma gentil e cuidadosa que somos tratados , a comunicação é eficiente e cuidadosa nos mínimos detalhes , Daniel , sócio proprietário recebe a todos com muito cuidado , fazendo nos sentir no paraíso, que realmente estamos . O café da manhã é um capítulo à parte , não vou descrever muito para ser surpresa de quem se hospedar , realmente somos surpreendidos a cada dia como uma linda mesa posta com temas diferentes . Em tantas viagens que já fiz pelo mundo , nunca fui acolhida dessa forma em nenhuma pousada. Fomos comemorar bodas de casamento e no dia fui surpreendida no quarto com um mimo encantador . A localização da pousada é perfeita , nada mais gostoso do que voltar de um jantar agradável e encontrar nosso quarto com ar ligado , aromatizado e com cama pronta para dormir, sem falar que o enxoval da pousada é maravilhoso. O cuidado com cada pequeno detalhe é notado a todo instante. Eles mimam os hóspedes de forma que deixa muita saudade! Foi muito perfeito nossa estadia lá , já temos nova data para voltar . • Mauricio (10/5): Um lugar mágico! - Dias maravilhosos em Perainda! Um lugar magicamente decorado, com uma energia ímpar. O local nos envolve com muita elegância e paz. O café da manhã é servido em uma mesa com cara de fazenda e sempre acompanhado de um dos donos estimulando um papo muito agradável, além da mesa ser sempre decorada dia a dia de uma forma diferente. A piscina é fenomenal de tão linda. O quarto é confortabilíssimo. Sem palavras para a sala de banho do quarto: dá vontade de morar ali! É triste ter que deixar Perainda!

• Douglas Paulo Mendes de (10/5): Exclusividade em Trancoso - A pousada é uma delícia, com apenas cinco quartos, proporcionando um atendimento exclusivo pelos proprietários que são muito atenciosos e estão sempre disponíveis para dar dicas e fazer reservas para os restaurantes e beach clubs mais concorridos. No dia do checkin, tivemos um atraso no voo, chegando na pousada cerca de 4 da manhã, onde um dos proprietários nos aguardava com um lanche que caiu do céu. O quarto é bastante confortável e o café da manhã temático, servido à mesa em estilo multi-course meal, é um diferencial em relação ao tradicional buffet encontrado em outras pousadas. Para completar, a piscina é maravilhosa e a massagista que atende na pousada é nota 10. Todos os detalhes são pensados para criar uma atmosfera de bem-estar. E tudo isso está a apenas 5 minutos de caminhada do Quadrado.

It's extremely well designed, clean, peaceful, and comfortable. Additionally, the staff make you feel like you are a guest in their super chic home. The breakfasts every morning are delicious and they take great care into coordinating transfers, restaurant reservations, shopping recommendations, and any activity you would want to do. I can't wait to come back!
• Grace (10/5): - Quite simply one of the most enjoyable hotels to stay at in the world! The attention to detail and hospitality provided by the owners is quite special. The 7 course breakfast is the perfect start to any Trancoso day, after which you can enjoy the gorgeous pool and hotel lounging areas, or take advice from the owners on the best beaches to check out! Rooms are expertly and stylishly designed. High quality mattresses. The outside double showers and bath are also a nice touch. We stayed for 7 days in Trancoso and could not recommend this hotel any more.
• Alan (10/5): - This is a fantastic place to stay. The property is beautiful. Rooms large and very comfortable. Beautiful artwork everywhere. The owners Virgilio and Alexandre could not have been any more welcoming and attentive. The entire staff was warm and gracious. Restaurant suggestions, beach club reservations, transportation all taken care of. And a fantastic breakfast to start the day. Trancoso is a paradise, and you won’t find a better place to stay than this pousada.We'll be back.

Virgilio and Alexandre are so warm and hospitable that you’ll feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. Their attention to detail is impressive with new surprises daily to keep you amazed - the breakfast alone is worth a stay at this charming Pousada. The open air bathroom is a great experience and the pool very relaxing... all within a short 5 minute walk to the Quadrado
