The family room is very small. Not a great value for money. I paid 7k per night. But the room was comparatively smaller and claustrophobic

Roopal (10/5): Best property near Mall Road. - The Hotel location was far better than we expected. It was walking distance from Mall Road. The view from our balcony was Chef's kiss. You could see the Toy Train running as well. Would recommend 10/10. There was a problem with the key not working, which the staff helped resolve promptly.

Mahesh (8/5): Good. Choose your room type carefully. - Staff promptness Family room. It was not prepared well before check-in. After intimation, staff made all the efforts to make it good. Family room facilities were not good. Mattress was not comfortable.

Pierre (6/5): Convenient hotel in Darjeeling - Okay hotel, rooms are quite spacious, some with good views of the mountains in the distance. Quite close to the centre of Darjeeling on a busy road (to be fair all roads are busy there). The room we were in was a bit damp, this side of the hotel doesn't get sunlight at this time of year (December) so in this season it remains quite humid and therefore cold (there are enough blankets that you can sleep comfortably though) throughout the night and the day. Staff was nice but also sometimes too present, we got multiple calls in the room in the evenings to tell us that dinner was ready at the restaurant, even though we hadn't booked the restaurant or mentioned any plans to have dinner there.

The rooms walls are too thin and whenever someone went to the bathroom, it caused loud noise and therefore led disturbance. Further, there are no separate smoking and non-smoking rooms and the room reeked of cigarettes.

The amenities are good, the food is delicious (I sampled breakfast once), and the staff is very congenial. I would like to make a special mention of Shweta, who attended to my requests of water, or toiletries very promptly and always with a smile! Food is a bit overpriced. They can consider having some simpler options/snacks at more attractive prices.

Bamdeb (9/5): Had excellent stay with my family comprised of elderly senior citizens and kids. - The view of Kanchenjungha and Darjeeling from the room was amazing and breathtaking. The staffs at the hotel were very cooperative and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well maintained and designed. It was perfect for a family trip with elderly and kids.

When you clean and do the room service you should think a new guest in the room and create your impression accordingly. 2. Front desk executive Ms.Reshma should be more smile towards guest's query..She should listen all things of a guest rather stopping the guest and shouldn't be annoyed at guest questions. Thanks

Stephen (9/5): Wonderful Property with Even more Wonderful Staff - Overall this was an amazing stay. I'll break down the highlights Location and Hotel Itself; Located up the hill a bit from the downtown this space is still an easy walk to the Mall, but allows you to get out of the hub bub. Additionally it's nice and close to the peace pagoda which was a great way to start the morning. The hotel leans heavily into the mountain lodge theme with lots of exposed wood paneling and dark stained wood furniture, which for me is a win. The hotel itself has a comfortable austerity about the entirety that was a nice break after some more gaudy locations. Staff: Staff was beyond amazing at this property. The manager Reshma took care of everything we needed and even the things we didn't know we needed. They handled getting laundry done on short order, helped us find an authentic local tea experience, arranged a day tour, and many other small items. They were courteous and attentive without seeming over the top or smothering. Really made the stay Room: Room was spacious and comfortable. It was a bit dated and the location of our specific room as fairly close to the dining area which meant we had a bit more noise at night, but nothing that bad. The view from the room was fantastic! The bathroom was a large wet bath, meaning the shower was no contained in the space. This led to it being a bit wet at times, but everything worked well and the water was nice and hot. Food: Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices for indian food, and a few continental items as well. The dinner menu was solid as well, everything we ordered was tasty and well priced. Nothing negative that was really significant. They do require you to leave the key at the desk during the day if you'd like your room cleaned, so that might not be amazing for some people and some outlets were a little picky with our adaptors but there were enough that it wasn't a big issue.
