- ElaineAndGreg (10/5): Charming Hotel In Yellow Springs That Does Everything Right - If you're in or anywhere near Yellow Springs, you pretty much want to stay at this very nice hotel. The Mills Park Hotel is conveniently located toward the center of town in Yellow Springs. It is an easy walk to the entire downtown as well as to Antioch College. There is convenient parking out back. The hotel is charming. The lobby area is bright and pleasant. There is a nice shop that sells good wine along with quality items. Our room was large and comfortable and everything was immaculate. The staff was relaxed and friendly. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, "Ellie's," which I believe is named for the owner's corgi. There is a corgi merry-go-round figure out front. There was also a stuffed Corgi toy in our room (and they likely sell a lot of them in the shop on the first floor). We came here for a weekend getaway and were delighted with our choice.

Complimentary coffee from the onsite restaurant. In-room frig/freezer was not cold enough and my ice cream melted overnight.

- Sharon (9/5): - It was convenient and pleasant. The staff was wonderful and responded to every concern that I had The restaurant was closed most of the time which made it quite inconvenient. They didn’t provide even one bottle of water free of charge and considering the cost of the hotel that seemed a little bit “tacky“ especially since there was plenty of coffee and tea.

They provide bags of ice in a chest, which is not refrigerated. Consequently, the ice is partially melted and you would need a hammer to break up the ice in order to use it. For what you pay for a room, I would expect better.

Our waiter took good care of us and the food came out fast and hot. Every one enjoyed their meal. We would eat here again.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was like out of a magazine. The hotel is located downtown therefore within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Every floor is beautifully painted with light colors yet very tasteful. There wasn’t anything I disliked about the property. It’s a beautiful hotel.

- maryamb999 (4/5): Room cleanliness - 1st let me say the owner & his son did a nice job decorating the hotel for Xmas. On a recent stay we found our room (207) not clean, specifically the floors. My husband left a review, but the owner seemed to spurn it saying, “As you can clearly tell from our hundreds of glowing reviews about how our property has been maintained” basically telling us our review was not valid. Im sorry the owner totally ignored the fact that oversights in housekeeping can occur sometimes as it did in our case. The owner needs to differentiate the difference between constructive criticism, and personal attacks. Instead of apologizing, the owner I felt reacted emotionally to our constructive criticism. For businesses to ignore a negative review is not business smart, because they can provide valuable insights into areas for improvement . Best Wishes

- Rearick (7/5): Great location and facility, friendly professional staff. - Super great location. Beautiful facility. Plenty of free parking behind the hotel. We could easily walk to many quaint restaurants and interesting shops. The extensive paved bike trail goes right through Yellow Springs. Many hiking options nearby at Glen Helen, Clifton Gorge, and John Bryan State Park. Just North of town is Youngs Dairy which has evolved into its own theme park...it is so popular it has its own traffic light on State Route 68.

However, there is absolutely no insulation between the walls. The group in the room next to us weren't overly loud, but I could clearly hear their conversations in our room. Room and hotel atmosphere was fantastic. Yellow Springs is a fun, wholesome destination. Interesting places, great nature preserve and Young’s dairy was a great for truly novel treat.

No elevator to second floor. I had hurt my back recently before going there and it was difficult getting the luggage up the stairs.

It was the smoothest wedding ever with everything ready, clean and we were very well attended to. This is a great venue for a wedding!

- Scott (10/5): - All staff was very polite and helpful. Each of them appeared to really enjoy their work and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I especially noted this in the girl who began at 10:00 with the overnight shift. She was cheerful and kind. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
- Diana (10/5): - One of my all time favorites. Have states here multiple times and have nothing but good things to say about it. Love the way it is localed on main street of the Town. Extremely walkable with excellent dining options including the hôtel. Lovely smallish modern immaculate hôtel with super staff.
- Departure473035 (10/5): Lovely stay, as always - Quiet and lovely stay, as always. Perfect location and the staff is always warm and helpful. The onsite restaurant, Ellie’s, is convenient and we enjoyed our meal while sitting on the front porch of the hotel. The Mills Park Hotel our first choice when staying in Yellow Springs!

- Robert (6/5): - Front desk was extremely responsive. Nice and clean hotel. One major issue for me was the noise from upstairs floors. Could hear every footstep loudly. Difficult to sleep. Front desk tried to help by moving my room but it wasn't much help.

- Diane (10/5): Perfect place to stay! - Beautiful hotel! We came for a Chappelle show and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Pretty rooms and clean. The restaurant is wonderful. Bring a small cooler in as there are no mini-fridges in room. Also, there was not an iron, but I asked a the desk and they brought one up. Great staff and service!

- D353RQtinac (10/5): Loved this hotel located right in the heart of Yellow Springs! - Our stay at the Mills Park Hotel in Yellow Springs was amazing! It is a beautiful hotel that looks like an older Victorian hotel, yet we were surprised to hear that it was built in 2015. We stayed in the deluxe king room and I can’t say enough good things. It was one of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The staff was super kind and friendly. Ellie’s Restaurant was cute and quaint with great food. We would definitely stay here again.
- Cecil (8/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were fresh looking and impressive looking. Rooms were not as quiet as we expected, perhaps because no carpeting in room to absorb sound. We could hear snoring from next room and hear their conversations. Overall a good experience.

- Thomas (9/5): Inspiring and uplifting hospitality in a freshly updated grand hotel. - I love the porch and entry areas. It is a small, grand hotel. The bright colors of the fabrics and furnishings add a lot to the getaway experience. If I spend that much on a hotel, I don’t want to be nickel and dimed for bottled water. There was salmon colored mold in the grouting of the bathtub.

- 425nabilar (10/5): Great place to stay in Yellow Springs! - My husband and I came for an overnight get away and the inn was an excellent accommodation. There is a very family bed breakfast feel but also amenities of a hotel. Great location to walk around and staff was excellent. I would definitely return and take our kids next time.

- Jonathan (10/5): - This was a beautiful little hotel that was very nice, friendly and comfortable. My 4-yr old daughter had said she wanted us to pick a pretty hotel.This certainly fit the request. She was very happy and thought the hotel was beautiful. I liked the very comfortable bed. We definitely will stay here again.
