Location was perfect for the Plas Y Pas car park for the Pyg & Miners track. Only 15mins drive.

The property itself was very clean, well maintained and are room was really lovely with a great view. Really liked the guest lounge with the addition of the hot drinks maker with the honesty box. The rain came in on our second day and it was lovely to warm up by the fire. The breakfast was superb as well.

The room offered beautiful views, was clean and well maintained. The property had a wonderful garden where you can relax after a long day walking. There was a nice lounge area as well where you could watch TV, listen to music or grab a hot or cold drink; some snacks available to purchase. The breakfast was ok. There was a choice of eggs on toast or welsh breakfast. Our overall impression was positive.

Lovely couple. Nothing was too much trouble. Located right on the river. The house was absolutely spotless. Our room was beautiful. We had a river view. The fridge and tea tray are nice little touches. The towels were big and fluffy. The toiletries were luxury. The bed was amazing slept like a baby. The guest lounge and patio area were superb. We did make use of these. The breakfast room was cosy. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Cooked to perfection. A little birthday treat and card was placed in the room for me 😊 We were sad to leave.

The B&B itself was in great condition, the garden terrace and guest lounge were nice additions. The location was excellent - lovely river-front building, only a few seconds from nearby amenities, and well connected to Snowdonia national park by local public bus.

The guest house was immaculate throughout and the owners couldn’t do enough to make us feel completely at home. We felt very comfortable and safe with the extra cleaning and precautions in place for COVID-19. Snowdon was just a short drive away and there were multiple pubs/restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a rural retreat in North Wales.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Two nights in August - We recently had a great stay at the Plas Tan Y Graig in Beddgelert. The room was spotless and comfortable with a stunning view of the river. Mini fridge and fan in the room were a lifesaver in the heat. Hosts were lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious. They are super mindful of covid and have a sound process in place to manage social distancing and good hygiene practice which we found really comforting. Loved the area too and would definitely return.

Breakfast is tasty and the location is perfect for any activities based in Beddgelert ( and close enough to the bus stop and station to get to other parts of Snowdonia easily. ) The only downside was that it doesn't have its own parking and the nearest car park is a little way away.

The room we had at Plas Tan y Graig was very comfortable, had everything we required including amazing views and was so nicely decorated that my wife took multiple photos so that she could copy ideas when we redecorate at home! The welcome was warm, the breakfast very tasty and filling and the hospitality was excellent. Being novices we were unsure which walk to take up Snowdon but we’re given great advice. I’m sure we will be going back.

- Sarah (10/5): Wanted to take the bed and fresh air home with me - This hotel was taken over by a family two years ago. Set in the heart of Snowdonia national park, in the centre of magical Beddgelert, it is a gem. Mark and Annette are delightful and provide a WWW (wonderful Welsh welcome!). Our twin room on the top floor was charming and the beds were so comfortable. We had an ensuite shower room and it was all spotlessly clean. There is a downstairs living-room with a stove in the fireplace. Breakfast was just the ticket before we walked; yoghurts, cereals, freshly baked pastries, toast and cooked breakfast including the full Welsh! I came with a friend and want to bring my elderly mother here; the views of the mountains and the village centre are unbeatable. Thank you/Diolch.
