Lloyd (10/5): Bushbaby is my baby - The rooms are clean and very fitting for the wildlife estate I had Rhino Room. Comfy beds and very good facilities. Staff extremely helpful. The manager in particular deserves commendation, went above and beyond at every step. The owners are on hand and also very friendly. I had to leave back to my student accommodation!

Their breakfast specials was mouth watering and yummy. Both cold and hot foods were offered to us and were thoroughly prepared. We enjoyed our breakfast. We paid for a platter, bouquet, chocolate and a few other treats but the establishment was not aware of it. The staff saw the money but they didn't know what it was for. We ended up agreeing on spending it on other things.

Alouis (4/5): Disappointing - Location is amazing. I booked for two days, and when I tried to extend for another day, the link furnished to me wasn’t working, and I had to stick to two days only. When I got to the property, I was forced to extend because I had intended to extend at some point. It was a long drive from Johannesburg, and I wanted to rest. I ended up paying for an additional day even though it wasn't my plan.

Their rules are not realistic , I was in a villa with a private pool but told not to use the pool after 22:00. If I was aware of this rule ,I wouldn’t have reserve this property .

Communication with the staff was seamless, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged even before our arrival. The breakfast options were delightful, offering a variety of choices such as waffles, pancakes, French toast, and a classic English breakfast—something for everyone to enjoy. The heat pump/air conditioner worked flawlessly, making our stay comfortable regardless of the temperature outside. The facilities were spotless, with warm water readily available and a refreshing pool to relax in. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport, the lodge is also surrounded by wildlife, offering a serene and immersive experience. For those interested, the staff can help arrange game drives, making it easy to explore the incredible nature and wildlife in the area. Overall, Bushbaby River Lodge is a gem that combines comfort, convenience, and a touch of the wild. We look forward to returning!

Ingrid (10/5): Amazing stay - Worth it - They absolutely spoiled us for our anniversary. The staff is friendly and the owner really cares about her guests. I like that they recommended activities we can do. We loved the room, and the bed was super comfy. Absolutely loved the bike riding and being able to see the wildlife. Cleaning of the room can be done slightly later, after we leave for the day, but not a big deal.

Maya (8/5): Lovely place. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - Beautiful and relaxing. Has a pool area with nice chilling areas. A lot of activities around the area Not enough entertainment. No bar area. No fully operating restaurant. Braai not allowed. You have to drive out every lunch and dinner to enjoy some food or drinks. They do offer an honesty bar however it has limited choices
