- celine (8/5): - Clean room, large bathroom, view to the harbour.
Breakfast in the room.
Welcoming staff and polite customers. The radiator was making noise early in the morning.
- Philip (7/5): Good location and friendly staff. - Good location and friendly staff. Breakfast is brought to your room at the time you request and you fill in a form the evening before to say what you want on your breakfast. Didn’t affect us but it’s above a pub so noisy until the pub closes.
- Richard (10/5): - Second Visit, this is a grest location, Thanks very much
- Jacqueline (9/5): As good as usual! -
- Paul (10/5): Always brilliant - Always enjoy staying here. Really nice friendly REAL pub. Beer is good and breakfast is always excellent
- Johansen (9/5): Delicious breakfast with a view of the mount! - Lovely fresh flowers on the table in the room, clean, great location. Breakfast was delicious and bought up to our room in the morning by a lovely lady. Really lovely stay.
- eva (10/5): Great weekend stay - Lovely room, great breakfast very clean and friendly staff what more could you ask for?
- Stuart (8/5): Served its purpose well - Breakfast, room and bed One or two of the staff could have been happier looking and more friendly
- Stuart (7/5): Served its purpose well - Breakfast, bed One member of staff could have been friendlier.....always seemed to be fed up, not very communicative with clients
- Kendall-Torry (9/5): - Staff were most helpful to us to cope with the road restrictions in the town. It was a bit expensive.
- Vogelzang (9/5): - Personeel, ontbijt, de ambiance. Het feit dat de kamers boven de pub waren, gaf een heel gezellig geroezemoes wat absoluut niet stoorde. Ontbijt op de kamer, zitje in de erker. Badkamer is goed ruim. Niks
- Patricia (10/5): Great location to close to
wharf
Highly recommend - Great location. Friendly
staff Nothing
- Rebecca (8/5): The Dock inn. - The location is very close to the water, the staff were very polite, breakfast was so tasty, poached egg was perfect, compliments to the chef. The room was spacious and bright, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Being so close to the water id like to have opened the window to hear it but i think it was painted shut as we couldnt open it.
- Kim (10/5): Pleasure to stay there. - Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff and people and close proximity to the quay
- Alison (9/5): - Excellent breakfast and location

- ELAINE (10/5): Great place to stop to explore the area - Ten minutes flat walk from train/bus station. Across road from Scillonian III dock. Quiet, traditional pub. Great food next door pub. Big rooms. Double size shower. Great breakfast served from 7:30 so time before get on boat. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Ten minutes, up hill, to high street shops. Gem of a find. Can’t wait to go back Nothing

- Gemma (9/5): Fantastic! - Friendly and perfect location for the ferry, lovely in room breakfast No onsite restaurant for the evening but there were some great places nearby
- Becky (8/5): Very central, lovely staff, very good breakfast - Handy location for most places It is a little tired, the bedrooms could do with an update
- Stephanie (9/5): Super expérience - Accueil super , chambre avec vu sur mer . Le petit déjeuner Tout était parfait
- Amanda (6/5): - They made us breakfast in sandwiches as a pack up due to an early start Tiny rooms .both twin when we asked for one to be double.
- kulwant (2/5): Dock Inn Experience. - We were going to the Isles of Scilly by ferry so booked the Dock Inn as about 20 yards from ferry office and ferry boarding. Staff very friendly and pub down stairs busy served Rattlers cider best cider. Breakfast served up to nine o'clock and I am lazy so my problem.
- Ann (9/5): -
- Gemma (10/5): Wonderful - Chose this inn for location close to ferry dock only but was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, spacious and beautifully decorated room , and great restaurants nearby within walking distance.
- Georgia (8/5): Great location and comfy bed - We had the added bonus of a car parking space, which we didn't think we would have. The bed room was a good size with an ensuite, and a breakfast table already set up. A lovely view across the harbour. Breakfast was punctual and very good with more than enough food. The bed was comfortable and huge. The mats beside the bed were dirty. Also it claimed that the rooms were sound proof but there was noise from the pub downstairs and outside.

Esperienza super consigliata!
- Sue (9/5): Enjoyable - Lovely room very convenient for Scilly Isles Ferry Nothing. Downstairs is a small pub with a pool table. Breakfast was good and served in our room. Fridge in room useful
- Alexis (9/5): Comfortable, friendly and good value for money. - Super friendly staff, comfy beds, large shower and bathroom, good breakfast including full English and cereals. Good size tv. Good value for money. Stayed in room 1 which had twin beds as requested. Small issue which could upset light sleepers is that the gas central system is noisy and you know when others are taking a shower. We were quite tired from having walked quite a bit so this wasn't a problem.
- Paul (9/5): Great little pub - Great situation, great, friendly staff That I didn't stay longer
- Lilian (10/5): Exceptional - Could not have asked for better, everything was excellent. Nothing at all.
- Ann (9/5): Would definitely stay again. - Room size and facilities were really good. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Mistake made by staff on booking of second room.
- Uta (8/5): Great location - Great location in Penzance. Nice breakfast included and served in the room. Nothing
- Linda (10/5): Great place excellent location. - Roomy comfy and clean. Lovely friendly staff. Will stay again 👍🏼🫶
- Jameson (5/5): Passable - Location Dusty
Breakfast was average and toast bread was very poor
- Samantha (9/5): Enjoyed our stay very much. - Lovely well appointed room, with kettle for tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. A really tasty cooked breakfast was served in room at the window table overlooking the harbour and St Michaels Mount in the distance. Breakfast came complete with cereal and there was also orange juice, yogurt and milk available in the room fridge.
- Ross (7/5): Great Stay with easy access to Penzance. - The location is very good although a reasonable walk from the bus/ train station. Taxis were hit and miss. We missed!
Bed was perfect and breakfast excellent. Room a little run down. We were there in a heat wave and supplied fan excellent. Across the road to foreshore and salt pools. The view not perfect...slightly obstructed by a commercial building. Slight walk uphill to town. Didn't hear the bar beneath us at all. Bed, breakfast and location
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Sheila (8/5): Confortable bed close to the ferry to Scilly - Room above a pub, better than expected Noisy on a Saturday night
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (9/5): Met all of our needs and all the team made us feel exceptionally welcome. - Greeted on arrival and helped with suitcases to room which was bright with plenty of room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Extra milk was requested and provided. We enjoyed the breakfast and were wished well for our journey to the Isles of Scilly ferry which was right across the road. Nothing. We needed an overnight stay to catch the ferry and this went above and beyond. Room is above a pub but noise was minimal.
- Amanda (8/5): It was my first visit - I will definitely stay here again. - Friendly, helpful staff, and excellent breakfast.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): Excellent stay close to the Scillies ferry - Excellent breakfast served to our room
- Tony (8/5): Very close to the ferry. Comfortable room. - Cooked breakfast is served in the room, which has a table set up for dining. We did not want it so I can't comment on the quality. There was a small fridge with yoghurt, milk, orange juice, and water. There was also cereals on the table. Our room was very comfortable. The inn is very close to the harbour and ideal for the ferry to the Scillies.0
- Glenn (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Breakfast is served to the room.
Parking available.
- Angela (7/5): over all very pleasant stay, ideal for the Scillonian the next morning. - great big comfy bed and huge walk in shower, fridge in the room for cold drinks and proper milk for tea/coffee, free bottled water and orange juice. Breakfast brought to the room so didn't even need to get dressed! mugs didn't look like they'd been washed so used the breakfast cups.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Excellent freshly cooked breakfast served in your room
It is a superb step back in time drinking pub. No children and no food other than breakfast. Plenty of good eating places a few yards from the front door.
- Helen (9/5): Excellent location for The Scillonian breakfast great and served to your room fantastic! - Everything went well! Addition of a mini fridge was a great idea milk and juice all ready for an early start with cereals n the room. Can’t fault it! Nothing room 3 is the best situation
- Geoff (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - Excellent location for our purpose. Very limited option for gluten free.
- Matthew (10/5): Weekend Trip great fun - Lovely Traditional pub, comfy rooms with good showers. Really friendly staff, the lady serving breakfast was very kind and willing to help. 10/10 English breakfast. Excellent location on the harbour. N/A
- Barry (7/5): Good - It was incredibly convenient for travelling to Scilly
- David (10/5): Great location and doggy friendly - Very friendly staff who make you feel very welcome and at home. The room was very clean and spacious and a very nice breakfast provided to start your day. Close to the port when travelling across to the Isles of Scilly, and not forgetting 'dog friendly'. Would highly recommend. Basically...... Everything!
Home from Home.
- Paul (7/5): Ideal for Scillilian ferry terminal. - Great for docks, room lovely and clean, staff friendly and good breakfast. Very noisy in room from road noise also curtains let a lot of light in. So poor night's sleep.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (7/5): Good -
- Shirley (9/5): overnight stay before catching the ferry. 6 - clean spacious room and bathroom. helpful staff.
- Judith (9/5): Superb - Great home cooked breakfast served in our room. Cereal choice and milk supply could have been better
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was so comfortable after a long journey. It's just across the road to catch the ferry to Scilly Isles . Everything was just perfect.
- Reg (8/5): Very good -
- Jill (7/5): Very pleasant and convenient place to stay before and after a trip to the Scilly Isles. - Comfortable beds and room with an ensuite. A good cooked breakfast is delivered to the room (table set up next to the bay window). Excellent location for embarking on the Scillonian ferry for an early sailing from Penzance harbour. Everything was perfectly fine for overnight accommodation at a fair price. (If you want luxury, you're going to pay more!)
- Paul (9/5): Great place to stay, particularly if you are on your way to the Isles of Scilly - Friendly greeting. Comfortable room, beautifully clean with excellent shower. Really good breakfast with multiple options. If, as we were, you are planning to catch the Scillonian this is about the most convenient place you could stay in Penzance. Do remember, though, that this is a pub with rooms and not a hotel. This is a busy pub so expect to carry your bags through the bar area. A very minor inconvenience.
- Deborah (9/5): Excellent. Would go there again and recommend it. - Very good choice for breakfast. Everything was fine.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - The housekeeping staff were super friendly and they bring your delicious breakfast to your room each morning. The rooms are located above a Pub that is frequented by the locals. Yet, no noise disturbed our sleep. Great location to see sites in the surrounding area. Parking was a challenge as there are only a four spots and the locals tend to fill them in the evening when going to the pub.
- Pamela (8/5): Very good - The room was a nice size and had a table and chairs to sit at by the window. The bathroom was clean with a large shower. The bed was lovely and comfortable and a good cooked breakfast was bought to the room. The silent fridge in the room was nicely stocked with milk orange juice and yogurts for the morning. The door lock needs an adjustment as it didn't lock and a little more milk would have been good. The floor in the room was a bit soft in places and gave underfoot slightly. These things did not spoil our enjoyment and all in all was a good night and we would definitely return.
- Bryher (10/5): Great stay- thank you. - Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and catered for an allergy, and right opposite the quay for the Scillonian. Would highly recommend and will definitely use every time we need overnight for the ferry. I didn't want this to appear first as it was such a small issue, but booking.com chooses how things appear....Only negative was that there was some noise from the street, which obviously isn't the fault of the owners but down to the location. Chose the hotel due to the location so this was unavoidable but was manageable.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Marion (10/5): Interesting history, and pleased that Penzance has kept its roots, food was delicious. - The staff was the best part of the stay, they went out of their way to make my stay memorable. Breakfast in the room. The extra touches of cereals, milk, juice, and the refridgerator. The quality of the towels, nowhere to put anything in the bathroom.
- Mary (8/5): Pleasant stay - Good location. Good parking available. Fabulous shower! Tiny room, impractical furniture - couldn't open the wardrobe door. Too small for 2 single beds, probably OK when pushed together as a double.
- Beverley (10/5): Lovely staff, beautiful room, excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend - Clean, comfortable, fabulous views
- Leanne (9/5): A lovely place to stay with our little dog, convenient, cosy, clean and friendly - It was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly. Nothing

- Jill (9/5): Lovely - Lovely friendly, cosy pub, comfortable, breakfast was great. Bedroom could do with a little bit of upgrading as the en-suite. But clean and very comfortable
- Simon (8/5): Very good -

- Chopparalious (10/5): STAY AT THE DOCK IÑN - What a proper pub, Great bar well stocked with a good selection of beers. The girls behind the bar were friendly and very welcoming. Plenty of bar stools so you could sit at the bar If you wanted to. Open fires with chesterfield sofa's made a comfortable area. We stayed for two nights and couldn't fault it, Breakfast is served in your room at a time you pre book with the bar girls. Breakfast is amazing nice and hot. Would highly recommend staying here. It was only a two night stay
